Sliders and fish tacos on the happy hour menu

Wow! What a bright and fun place. If you want a great water this is definitely the place to come. The food was so fresh and delicious. We had 2 of the appetizers on the happy hour menu. The key lime pie is Florida worthy. Great service too. We will definitely be back! As we were leaving live music was being set up for those that enjoy that. Appears they also have a to go counter you can order at. Sorry! I didn't get photos of that or the inside.

We had breakfast and the food was amazing. The outdoor seating with water views is very relaxing. There's also very appealing indoor seating. We had excellent service as well. Everyone ordered something different and we were all extremely pleased. I highly recommend Beachcomber.

We had an awesome experience at Beachcomber. We sat right by the water and even watched manatees glide by while we ate -- such a cool bonus. The Bloody Mary was excellent, the food tasted fresh and made‑to‑order, and the live music added to the whole laid‑back beach vibe. Service was both friendly and fast, which made everything even better. It's the kind of spot where you can relax, enjoy the view, and just feel good being there. Highly recommend.

Great Beach restaurant. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the inlet views. Food was hot and fresh. We enjoyed the chicken tenders, french fries, side salad, and the Prime Rib Philly Cheese. Service was fantastic! Parking was challenging but we got a SPOT in the end!

Great sound system and ambiance outside with sweets inside. Clean and lovely looking with lots of customer attention. Our server was Erica, pleasant and eager to serve!! Beachcomber Rum Runner and a Kona beer. I had the tenders and she had fish dip and veggies. Yelpers gave this a high rating, so it was obvious as we walked the beach and passed the 2.5 and 3 star places that were empty! Bar rescue needs a job here! Prices were reasonable and drinks were cold! What more can ya ask for. Thanks YELPERS!

Great place for breakfast within walking distance of Englewood beach. Large sitting area on the outside overlooking the intercostal side of the gulf. Breakfast served till 11am . Excellent service and wait staff. Food was very good and portions were generous.

I went the first time with my cousin over Labor Day- I've been back twice since. The food is delicious, the service is prompt and friendly and the view and space is so nice. Perfect brunch spot to follow with some beach time with Englewood beach right there.

Our old go to place on the Key for breakfast is now our go to place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (cocktails too). Great food, great location, and superb staff. Highly recommend.

Amazing place! Highly recommend! The Ultimate Bloody Mary is a hidden menu item, which you must try! The service is top notch too! Very good food!

    Blackened chicken sandwich

Love the view, live music, and they make amazing drinks! Service is good, although, it can be a little slow at times so be sure you have time to sit back and enjoy the view and music. If you're in a hurry, it might turn into a frustrating experience. It's a go to spot for us. Our favorite drinks are the rum punch and tropical rain. Peel and eat shrimp, cheesesteak, and the freshness of the house salad are always a hit. Tonight, I had a blackened chicken sandwich. First, let me say, they should bottle their chipotle mayo. It has the perfect amount of heat and it's just indescribable goodness. Check it out for yourself, you won't regret it. My only disappointment was the size of the chicken, it was soooooo thin. It was good but for $15.90, I expected more. Won't stop me from returning and I'll be having that chipotle mayo with whatever I order.

Very pleasant and beautifully decorated. Great menu and the food was delicious. Do have one issue, when I ordered my breakfast burrito, was surprised my request to have my eggs in side be sunny side up was met with they would never do that !! At that moment I thought Wow , shouldn't you say I will ask .Out of all the breakfast restaurants in the area, this was a first.

    Beautiful location!

I started with the pain pill cocktail - their version of a pain killer. It was really tasty. It came in a very tall glass with some cinnamon sprinkle. The pineapple was fresh. While I looked over the menu, she brought out some warm crusty rolls with salted butter. Yummmmm. I was famished so I dug in. They had so many things on the menu I was a bit in information overload. I started with the coconut shrimp, which they say is a house specialty. The dipping sauce was interesting - like a cold coconut milk? The shrimp were butterflied and lightly fried. There is four on the plate. Pretty good. For dinner, I had the fresh catch with mashed potatoes and the zucchini medley. The medley had zucchini. squash, onions and red bell pepper in it. They have other sides like sweet potato as well. You get your choice of two. The entree came with a side salad. It was a small portion. It had some sweet candied nuts on it, with some shredded mixed cheese and a side of their house French dressing. Some of the pieces of lettuce were really long so it was kinda messy to eat. The red snapper was my choice of fresh catch. I asked for it grilled but the other option is blackened. The fish was a good portion. About 6 to 8 ounces. The mashed potatoes were delicious. I enjoyed my meal and I was too stuffed for dessert. But I saw the bread pudding with ice cream at another table. Wow! The scoop of ice cream on that dish was huge! The key lime ice cream pie sounded interesting and I imagine they have a good tiramisu. Next time I'll get dessert. Service was stellar. I was not bothered but I was checked on often for another drink and water etc. plates were cleared often but did not distract me. I really enjoyed being outside because they had a one man band playing guitar and singing so wonderfully. It's a gorgeous setting outside. A bit warm, but I was gross from golf anyways. They do have quite a few fans but I'm glad I was away from them. I hate when I'm trying to eat and it's all I can do to keep my hair from blowing in my face and mouth from overzealous ceiling fans. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Parking is a private lot out front and I easily found a space. This place was recommended by a coworker. I am so glad I took her recommendation!

I've gone here a handful of times throughout the years. I've never been impressed. This time…read morethough, will be my last. They changed the inside of the market. Before, you used to be able to view the live lobsters and see them pick them out. I used to like this, because I want to make sure the lobsters are alive and moving when they are removed from the water. Now, I don't know where they keep them, but I can't see them. I wouldn't trust that I am getting the fresh and very alive lobsters. Second, and most important of all, the prices are BAD. I called them a couple weeks ago for the price of lobsters. They told me 3 for $65. For me, that's extremely expensive. For me, I wouldn't pay that for myself, but my wife wanted me to cook some lobsters (would have been only her second time having lobster in her life). I decided to give them a try one last time and compare it to other markets that cost much less. If I could get similar taste at the other markets, I would no longer go here. Sadly, when I went in, I noticed the prices were now 3 chick lobsters for $75, or $25 a pound if you don't want 3. I asked about this, telling them they recently told me they were $65 on the phone... maybe not more than 2 weeks ago... and they said they raised their prices. Holy shit. That's not a $1 raise... or a $3 raise, but a whopping $10 raise. It wasn't too long ago that 3 of their lobsters were $25, and even that seemed expensive. I was willing to try them one last time at $65 (highway robbery bent over backwards), so I asked if they would honor the price quoted on the phone a few weeks ago, and they said no. So I walked out without spending one penny. These prices are terrible. TERRIBLE. Other markets in the area are charging $15 a pound for new england live lobsters. It's their store, they can charge what they want, but I won't buy anything if the prices are too high. Maybe this will go out of business like the port charlotte location? Maybe the snow birds don't know about other places to buy fresh lobster and pay the price? Well, if you know where to shop, you can find everything I've seen in this store for about 1/2 the cost. Tourist trap? I don't know, but buyer beware.

They were pretty busy but the food arrived quickly. Lots of people were stopping in for fresh seafood from the market while a few were having lunch outside. The food was delicious and everyone loved it. The only issue we had was that I was hoping to just get fried shrimp for my daughter but the only options were coconut shrimp or the shrimp po boy. They said that's all they could do. Once we received the shrimp po boy, I was confused why they couldn't just give us that but without the bread. Oh well, she just picked the shrimp off the bun and loved it anyways. Just didn't seem very accommodating when they seemed so helpful to the customers ordering from the actual fresh seafood market. We will definitely come back.
