Lobster and Crab Grilled cheese, fries, Pina Colada, Painkiller.

Great food, excellent service, and a great time. It's a hidden gem for sure tucked behind the hotel. We got the crab dip for an appetizer and it was amazing perfect for two. I got the painkiller and my girlfriend got a pina colada to drink. For the entrees we both got the lobster and crab grilled cheese. It was EXCELLENT!!

Chill environment, friendly service, and nice, uncomplicated but delicious food. Sat right over the dunes and even saw a couple of dolphins in the surf!

3.5 stars only because I don't know that it's a place we'll actively seek out if we're ever back in the OBX. That's not a bad thing, I just don't know that it'll immediately come to mind if we're ever back. But man, if you're in the Ramada or anywhere near by, damn. What happens if you take an actual foodie restaurant where the food is very tasty and attach it to a random Ramada in the OBX? This place. Ambiance 5 stars if you sit on the deck, probably 4 stars at best closer in because noise. Food: really flavorful and tasty. I liked my tacos a lot and the lobster and crab "grilled cheese" (the really wasn't much cheese and the portion was huge; they literally stuff two sandwiches full and give you 3 of those quarters) drew good praise too. As did the crab cakes and the Caesar which is a bisected and grilled wedge. There was a slight mix up with our group: two members got the crab cake main, one as it comes normal and the other subbed fries for the sticky rice (which wasn't sticky). We were accidentally brought shrimp tacos, so our server immediately apologized and went back. She'd grabbed the wrong plate. But also, the right plate still had the rice and then also a side of fries. It's an honest mistake.

Great service, beautiful view from our seats looking right out over the beach. The food came out quickly and was very good. Good portions and very tasty

I love the vibe here. I came here to celebrate my husband's birthday. We sat at the bar and we had an amazing time . I had a steak salad and he had a seafood plate . It is amazing . The bartender Shauna , stone and Jacob made gnarly drinks . The zombie drink definitely sent me home . Haha!

I love the Beachcombers Tiki Hut! Was staying at the Ramada Inn and went down for a margarita. I ended up trying the food because it looked so delicious! I got the chicken egg rolls which were crispy and warm, with a nice sauce. The hummus and chips were yummy as well! Staff was super friendly! The tiki bar is fun , lots of TVs with games on , chill vibe. The bar is huge , plenty of seating. It is in the middle of the restaurant , and you can easily enjoyed the beach view from all areas . There are also tables for bigger parties with nice views too! Parking is plentiful, entrance is on the ride side of the hotel or if you're staying you can come through the hotel. With winter hours in place I was only able to go once, hopefully when I come back this summer I'll get to spend more time at Beachcombers Tiki Hut. It is a fun place to have a drink, relax , and be by the beach!

This was a pleasant find in the area! Cute location, super kind servers. I ended up getting the veggie burger (not my first choice, but yummy!). Pizza apparently has mushrooms that are pre-made into the dough, so it wasn't something I could take out. Drinks are great! Travis is a great server!!!

Great food in a great location. I enjoyed the macadamia crusted mahi mahi. Right on the beach!

Location... Location... Location! Perfect spot for drinks and view of the ocean. However, bar tenders were not the friendliest. Got to the bar and there was only one spot left so my wife sat while I stood. Both bar tenders literally ignored us for awhile... no acknowledgment. Finally the female bar tender handed us a menu but no hello or anything. I finally got the male bar tenders attention and ask for a glass of wine for my wife. We found 2 bar spots after getting drinks and then ordered the Hummas appetizer which my wife loved. Tried to order some kids chicken tenders but they don't allow it. No big deal. Again, perfect location for a drink with a view of the ocean. Just a weird vibe.... Like all the bar tenders and waitresses didn't seem happy.

Our party of 6 split up to avoid having to wait 45 minutes for a single table to sit us all. We were a party of 4 and another table of 2. We had different waitress and the one table was almost finished their meal before the other table was served even though we sat down at the same time. I was informed the scallops were chewy due to being over cooked and the soft shell crab was fishy tasty like they were not fresh and they cut a small one into two not coming close to filling the taco shell. The peel your own shrimp were also over cooked making it difficult to get the shell off. I will however say the clam chowder was delicious, the she crab soup was a little too rich for me to finish my bowl but was very tasty. The blackened tuna bites were amazing. However despite my meal being good the over consensus was not good.

I didn't taste a lot of alcohol in the painkiller, but it was delicious! I did feel the three I drank! At happy hour you fill out a card with how many of each special you want and then you order more as you go. The wings were VERY good! We got them naked and couldn't stop eating them. The shrimp were good, though work for peeling and cleaning. We didn't care for the beef in the tacos. We also got crab dip, a small side salad and onion rings. Everyone enjoyed all of it. The side salad was a good size as well. I will go back and try other food. It was a lot of fun and yummy.

This tiki bar, which opened its doors in June of 2024, has quickly become a hotspot in the area. During the weekends, the bar is buzzing with excitement and is always packed with people eagerly waiting to check in. The atmosphere is vibrant and lively, creating the perfect setting for a fun night out. I had the pleasure of trying their margaritas, and I must say, they were truly exceptional. The bartender at Duck Dive Bar really knows their craft and made some of the best margaritas I've ever had. They were perfectly balanced and simply delicious. One unique aspect of Duck Dive Bar is their Friday morning yoga sessions. For just $20, you can participate in a yoga class that includes a drink afterwards. It's a great way to start your day and unwind in a beautiful setting. I also appreciated that they had mocktails available for kids, making it a family-friendly establishment. The kids seemed to enjoy their drinks just as much as the adults enjoyed their cocktails. Overall, my experience at Duck Dive Bar was fantastic. From the lively atmosphere to the delicious drinks and friendly staff, it's a must-visit spot in Duck, NC. I highly recommend stopping by Duck Dive Bar for a great time with friends and family. We weren't sure if kids were allowed at captain andys but the host said it was fine. It was very windy in the restaurant so stuff was blowing everywhere. We had two grilled cheeses, fries, a bbq sandwich and a shrimp po boy and it took over an hour to get our food. Service was very slow, it was not a warm or friendly environment. They're more dedicated to getting people drunk. A guy near our table was loudly talking on the phone and using profanity. The restaurant has two distinct dining areas: the front section is first-come first-served bar seating that offers the full menu. The back section, which would be ideal for families, holds about 30 tables, mostly booths, with the hostess stand. We chose to sit at the bar and had a great experience. We started with bruschetta topped with burrata cheese. I ordered the angel hair pasta in a white garlic butter, cream sauce with marinated chicken and grilled vegetables. My husband ordered the special hamburger with Swiss cheese bacon, spinach and mayo with a side of fries. We ended with slices of the key lime pie that didn't disappoint!
