BeachView has such a lovely atmosphere, and the food is absolutely delicious. It is a bit on the pricey side, but still worth it for the quality. Been here twice. First time last year was just okay...food was good but service was memorably slow and there weren't many customers even during a busy week at the beach. This time was a disaster! Once again, only a few other customers (staff literally outnumbered us) and even though there was well over an hour before close, they were already in closing mode :-( A server got our drinks out after 15 mins but our actual server was another 15 to get our order. All 3 kitchen staff were "chilling" at a table together cutting up with our server and others and didn't even get up until at least 10 mins AFTER we ordered so now we're at 40 mins with nothing but melted ice in our original drinks. Obviously we had enough and left after about 50 mins of wasting our time. Ironically, us leaving got their attention because they yelled from the balcony so we politely explained how our presence wasn't important until we left and continued walking back to our condo. OMG...to the owner...it's a great location with excellent potential but the staff is going to literally run you out of business if things don't change soon! read more

I give Beachview a 5 star for the great view and outside covered deck, but I will have to give them a 3 star for the food. The French Toast was deep fried with cereal bits which to be honest was not that greatest. I would prefer that had not been done. The waitress was friendly, but the service was slow. They need more wait staff. We got there around 10:30 am and we're able to get a table, but when we left there was a line out the door waiting for a table. Overall, it was a nice experience. Just avoid the French Toast and get there early. read more

While staying in Navarre, we were looking for a brunch spot that was giving the brunch vibes we desired. We stumbled upon Beachview and were instantly sold on the location. The restaurant has a beautiful open concept overlooking the beach. The menu was exactly what we were looking for! Everything looked so delicious and we decided on the Beachview skillet and the meat lovers omelette. Both of our dishes were delicious and bursting with flavor. The standout for me was the hashbrowns. The fresh herbs added so much depth of flavor that paired well with the crispiness of the potatoes. The restaurant is well staffed so you get quick service. The manager was even walking around and helping clean tables. Bummed that we found this spot on our last day of vacation because I wanted to try everything on the menu! We will be back. read more

After living in Fort Walton Beach for over 7 years there's only a few places I would recommend dining at on the Island. Mainly because the prices are high and the quality is low. I highly recommend going here. The food was excellent, the drinks were tasty, it has great views of the Gulf, the prices were reasonable for the Island and all the staff were very fun and friendly. Would recommend! My first impressions was do I have to take the never ending ramp or haul my old legs up these stairs. I persevered and took the step, not too bad. I think overall it was worth it.
