Only had a cleaning done here but it was easily the best experience I had getting one. The staff was super nice and the office was clean. Got my cleaning done by Stephanie and she was really good! Sometimes I suffer with teeth sensitivity and I'll wince or grimace during my dental appointments-- and I did not have to do that once with her. She did a great job with cleaning my teeth and taught me a little about my oral health. Apparently I've been brushing my teeth with bad technique and the wrong toothbrush bristle. She taught me the right way to brush and gave me a proper toothbrush too. Had a conversation with Dr. Park afterwards and he was good too. Dr. Oh and Comfort clinic provides a tremendous professional, efficient, humanitarian and comforting experience while I am reconstructing my teeth from a dental trauma. I had an accident and broke three frontal teeth in Taiwan in 2016 December. It was not only painful, and it looked terrible as well. When I returned to New York, the most challenging thing was to have a doctor who will be able to provide me immediate treatment while looking out the best interest for me as a patient, but not only from a medical or doctoral perspective view. Professional & Humanity Since I did a massive research (including reaching out to 7 doctors in Taiwan and the U.S), I had an idea of what kind of treatment plan (one implant and two crows or three crowns) it would be. Unlike other doctors, Dr. Oh, recommended a conservative approach and suggested me to make a crown instead of an implant. The reason is because 1) Dr. Oh wants to preserve my teeth and considers human teeth is always better than the artificial one. 2) Technology improves and so does an implant. There is no need to hurry to get an implant if it is not necessary. 3) No need to make the crowns for my two frontal teeth if the filling works. Regardless how well a crown is done, there is a chance for to collect food and bacteria grow inside of my teeth. In general, I couldn't just take on a suggestion without knowing the reason. When I ask the doctors whey they suggest a certain way, some would throw the lines saying: this is the best way to do it, trust me. Or According to all the research studies in dental trauma, this was what has shown the most effective. However, the cons of those suggestions are not taking into my feeling, my fear and my hesitation into consideration. I, as a patient, was not the major source of the interest when it comes to the planning of the treatment. Throughout my treatment, Dr. Oh was very patient answering my questions and help me understand the pros and cons of each possible plan. Don't get me wrong but all of the doctors I visited are excellent but no one has all the merits of being patient, professional, efficient and caring my feeling (fear), and economics like Dr. Oh. Efficiency The first day of the consulting, I walked out of the clinic with three X-ray done and a proposed treatment plan and a timeline for my treatment. In the clinic, there are all the latest modern techniques and machines. I wasn't even asked to move away from my chair to take a close shot of x-ray. Comparing to my experience to a big hospital in midtown, which I was scheduled 3 weeks later to do the X-Ray because it has to be done with a specialized doctor. I was so emotional and grateful for how efficient Dr. Oh is. Affordable All the prices of a root canal, crown and implant are transparent and so much more affordable compared to other clinic/hospital. I am with Delta PTT dental plan. Dr. Oh helped me craft a package which I can cover most of my expense within the deductible amount. With the HSP, I also put aside money dedicated to the treatment. I thought I was going to be in debt. Thanks to Dr. Oh, I am not. So far, I only did one crown and one root canal. I am still under observation for other two teeth. I am very grateful for Dr. Oh and his colleagues' work. And Yes, I strongly recommend Dr. Oh and Comfort Clinic if you have any dental issues. read more

Decided to go this local clinic after moving to Fort Lee. Doctor is nice but the admin team and billing department is not doing their job. They are asking to pay upfront instead of calling my insurance and checking the coverage. Had to talk to them 4 times for a crown because they were too lazy to call the insurance. Spending my time at 9pm trying to explain what is a yearly coverage limit. If you go there, just ask them to verify your coverage first and even to give a written notice explaining they understood the meaning of the coverage! read more

My review for Comfort Dental is definitely long overdue. If you're anything like me, you probably hate making any type of visits to the dentist office. I've lived in the Bergen County area for almost all of my life and I still don't have a regular dentist. Fortunately, I was referred to Comfort Dental by a friend (it took a very painful toothache to push me to make an appointment) and have gotten many different procedures done since. I can finally say that I've found my go-to dentist! I love, love, love both Dr. Oh and Dr. Skye Kim! They are absolutely fantastic and super knowledgeable. When it comes to exams, they are extremely thorough and pays super close attention to detail. They will never pressure you to get any work done if you're uncomfortable with it or if it's just not necessary, but they will make sure to give you an overall explanation of the different options you have. In terms of the work I've gotten done so far, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I kid you not, I actually fall asleep during my root canal procedures. Like, wuttttt? I was a bit skeptical seeing a dentist at first about my wisdom teeth problem because I'm not one for needles, doctors, or dentists, but my wife referred me to his facility so I had to give them a try. I lived in Fort Lee area for 2 years and I explored my dental clinic options through extensive researches online, and Comfort Dental Clinic is the best one. Comfort Dental Clinic is conveniently located right across the George Washing bridge in the heart of Fort Lee, so you can easily locate it either by driving or taking the subway. If you are taking the subway, take the gypsy bus from the GW stop, and then get off on main street in front of a Korean pharmacy. Comfort Dental Clinicis about 100 ft away - it is the building next to Batten ramen. If you are driving, they have a designated parking lot, or there is a municipal parking lot right across. I have been to 5 highly reputable dental clinics in Fort Lee, and in my honest opinion Comfort Dental Clinic was the best one. I am obsessed with maintaining my teeth clean especially after I got several cavities due to getting braces. I get my teeth checked out every once in 4-6 months, which can be very costly and stressful, so I became very picky at choosing my dentist. Here are several reasons why I love Comfort Dental Clinic: 1. My dentist, Dr. Francis Oh, is simply incredible. He is an assistant professor at Columbia dental school, and he is honestly the best dentist I met in the U.S. I appreciate that he really takes time to carefully examine the condition of your teeth thoroughly. I also know that he is extremely skillful as his treatment was precise and painless, and it is truly difficult to meet a dentist as good as he is. Dr. Bina Oh who cleaned my teeth was also phenomenal. 2. Everyone raves about the luxurious interior and high tech equipment, and seriously this is as good as a dental place can get. Since Comfort Dental Clinic was fairly new, I had a chance to tour around the place while waiting, and it has a 35k device that enables you to get the most accurate and effective root canal procedure, on top of all the other state of the art equipment. Every corner of the place is spotless clean, and you can see the tool sterilization process, too. VIP suites looked super cozy, and they have separate rooms for kids as well. 3. Cost is very reasonable. Because of the luxurious interior, I think people would automatically assume that this place might be too costly. However, you will find that the price is surprisingly reasonable. Especially when you compare the prices to dental clinics in NYC, it will make your trip to Fort Lee all worthwhile. In conclusion, I highly recommend Comfort Dental Clinic to anyone who needs a wonderful dentist. My 2 children and I were attended to by Dr LIsa and Dr OH respectively. Dr Lisa was very assuring and fun loving . My twins haste most pleasant visit , twins were distracted with the movie playing on screen overhead them n dr lisa would not put anything in their mouths that she didn't first let them touch . This really assured my twins . N she only took the necessary xrays ( we had switched dentist days later cos we felt the other dentist took unnecessary xrays thus exposing them to too much radiation ). Dr oh examined my teeth ( was there for my check up only). I am a person who is particular about anyone doing things unnecessarily, and I like to be completely informed first before anything goes into my mouth and that was what Dr Oh did. He explained things clearly to me, gave me options to other possible procedures ,without ever putting pressure on me. I appreciate that a lot. However, since my first appointment the entire staff have exceeded all my expectations. The most pleasant and welcoming I've ever felt- literally ANYWHERE. Dr Suh was my Orthodontist and let me tell you he is hands down AMAZING!! Prior to CD, my teeth affected all aspects of my life- professionally and personally. I was in need of annual check up so my friend referred me to Comfort Dental. The good: appointment was easy to set up, the office is clean, my tooth was repaired. The hygienist I saw was competent. The OK: I had my first appointment set up with the dentist and the dental hygienist, but had to set up another appointment with the hygienist, she did not have enough time to see me. That meant taking additional time off work and commuting to Fort Lee from Manhattan again. However, I was willing to do that, because I thought I had found a good provider. The bad: the office called to cancel my 6-month follow up appointment with the hygienist. A few months later, when I called to schedule another appointment with the hygienist, I was told I had to take the x-rays again, see the dentist and then see the hygienist. The only reason for my visit was to have my teeth cleaned, but the receptionist said it is their policy to have x-rays taken every 6 months and that the dentist has to see me first. While I do not mind being examined by the dentist, I am not willing to lose additional time commuting in case they double book the hygienist again. In addition, the receptionist did not even ask why I refuse to have x-rays and was adamant they had to be done. There are medical reasons patients should not be doing medically unjustified x-rays. Sorry, Comfort Dental, you just lost a patient. read more

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Dr Francis Oh goes the extra mile to make sure you understand the treatment you are receiving. His numbing skill is excellent. I couldn't feel a thing during a tooth extraction he performed. He will not suggest excessive treatment which sometimes may not be necessary. My trip to the Comfort Dental Clinic has been a great experience! I've always had mixed feeling toward seeing dentists; many of whom either told me I have many problems or I have none. Trust has always added a shade to my white coast anxiety. Seeing through the large transparent windows of the clinic, I decided to give Comfort Dental a try. I went there for a general check up, with the hope of finding a dental practice I can trust. Not unusual for a young finance professional, trust is everything. Without doubt it was a good decision. My first minute of the visit was cheered by warm staff and cozy space. I had the choice to play my favorite music as I waited for my exam. What surprised me the most was the technology. They use what is called an intraoral camera, which shows the patient exactly what is seen in the mouth. My curiosity about my own mouth has never been so fulfilled. I could see the old fillings in my mouth as if I were meeting old friends.Furthermore, my dentist, Dr Kim, was super nice and patient as she explains to me the difference between stain and caries in my tooth. Only then have I begun to realize why different dentists say different things. I felt I could make my own decision rather than being told what should be done. This the marked difference I found at Comfort Dental. I would totally recommend my own family and friends to come here for their dental care, especially my dad who definitely needs a lot of work done. As a side note, I an investor of many assets. My mouth is surely one of them. For my next dental visit and periodic check up, Comfort Dental so far has been a great one!
