I purchased my 2021 Toyota Venza from Beaman Toyota on April 6, 2024, and my original experience was excellent. My salesperson, Renay, was wonderful to work with. In fact, I trusted Beaman enough to refer a close family member, who purchased his own Venza on December 9, 2024. Unfortunately, everything after the sale has been disappointing. On June 17, 2024, I received an email advertising a $100 referral bonus if someone I referred purchased a vehicle. My referral qualified, but despite more than a year of phone calls, texts, voicemails, and follow-ups, I've never received the referral credit. I was told my information had been sent to finance. Someone called while I was unavailable, I returned the call immediately and left a voicemail, but no one ever followed up. I have screenshots documenting the entire process. I've also lost confidence in Beaman's service department. During a previous visit, I was quoted approximately $1,300 for recommended maintenance. I later had the same recommended work completed at another Toyota dealership for about $700. I regularly receive emails and text messages encouraging me to schedule service, sell my vehicle, purchase another Toyota, and now leave a positive review. Most recently, while my vehicle was in for service, I replied to the service text updates and also called with a question, but never received a response before the service was completed. At this point, it isn't about the $100 anymore. It's about communication, follow-through, and honoring the commitments you make to your customers. I genuinely wish I were writing a different review because my buying experience with Renay was excellent--that's exactly why I referred my own family to Beaman. *UPDATE* 3/13/26: Still no actual contact from Beaman other than an automated email wanting feedback on other platforms like Facebook, this review is also on there. Yesterday I had a mobile mechanic (J&B Mobile Mechanics) come out and look at my Tacoma, they showed up about two hours after I called and were in the parking lot of my job for a total of 20 minutes after a short test drive and told me everything that was wrong. Had it fixed in about 3 hours or so. Definitely recommend them and not Beaman, the pricing was also much better as well than what a dealership would charge as well. 3/11/26: Still have not heard from Beaman even though their automated response to reviews states they will attempt to contact me, also Alexis still has not contacted me to "talk about everything done". It's been two days since I got my truck back by the way. Original review posted 3/9/26: This place had my Tacoma for an entire week and absolutely nothing was done, test drove with a technician once and someone else that claimed that they were a shop foreman another time, both of which actually heard the crunching noise coming from the front driver side but were "unable to replicate the issue" after calling to get an update on my truck. Oh by the way, all updates I had to contact the dealership and wait for a contact back after several hours. The longer they had the truck, the more I had to call for an update. After calling 3 times this past Thursday and 4 times today in one day after Beaman having my truck for a week I decided to show up, taking time off early from work for the third time in a week and stood around waiting for my service advisor for about 10 minutes whom was originally Alexis but I guess decided to take an extended weekend off and then got swapped to Joey whom is just as bad as Alexis was about calling customers back. When I received my truck back finally, Joey literally could not tell me anything about what was done since my last visit and told me that Alexis will be contacting me to talk about everything done, I'm not holding my breath. Most of everyone I dealt with was nice but the lack communication between the service department and the shop is abysmal. read more

My first time going to the Toyota dealership I had a great experience. I took my car in for a transmission issue, and I got the whole thing fixed for free because it was under warranty. They even threw in a car wash. I was so pleased and I said I would always come back for Maintenance. A couple months later, I noticed a rattling noise under my car there was clearly something loose and needed addressing. I also needed an oil change. When I checked in, I was very clear that I really needed to get this sound under my car checked. They changed my oil and tried to up charge me on every fluid. I needed to get replaced $1500 later I drive off. Everything sounds good but within the next hours that noise persist to start clanking again underneath the car.. I reached out to Toyota to see if they could make this right and they never responded....fast forward 2 months later and I have fluids coming out underneath my car. The salesman was great very nice and very helpful. The finance guy did not listen when I said I wanted to get a new tag he said transfer is cheaper and kept pushing for it. This is about to be my third drive out tag on a 50k car that I cannot get a real tag for the receptionist Joan has an attitude and every time I have needed a tag says that it takes 3 months for a drive out tag and the state is 3 months behind on your tag and everyone else's and there is nothing I can do but give you another drive out tag if you need it. Let me know if you need one. Who the hell would not need a drive out tag on their vehicle?!?!? She is rude and does not care about the problem then when I asked a manager, she said she doesn't answer her phone ever. Why does she still have a job? Then I called back got a very polite receptionist named Miss Mary and said call back about 8:15 and gave me the name of a different Manager to ask for. This is an ongoing issue, and no one should have to deal with this much shit after buying a car. I will call back at 8:15 and hopefully resolve this. I will also be filing formal complaints and hiring a lawyer and calling all news stations if needed. Hopefully the manager today can fix the issue that has been a four-month long problem with no end in sight. The county clerk has also said if they drive up here in the county I live in only an hour away this can be fixed the same day. Truck Complaint I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the poor customer service and lack of communication from my salesman (Brandon Folgar) following my recent purchase of a pre-owned 2023 Vehicle from Beaman Toyota. I have been riddled with unmet promises and a lack of accountability. Roughly 34 days after my purchase, my vehicle broke down--a situation that should not have happened with a recently inspected and supposedly well-maintained vehicle, as I was told by my Salesman. While I appreciate that the dealership covered the towing costs and provided a loaner vehicle, I was met with speculation about the issue rather than a clear, competent diagnosis as to what happened. I was eventually told my vehicle needed a "special battery," which raised further concerns about the pre-sale inspection and maintenance performed on this vehicle. After calling to inquire about my vehicle 2 days later, I was told that a new battery had been ordered. Four days later, I was told the wrong battery had been ordered and sent back as I was still playing the waiting game. Finally, on day 5, I was told my vehicle was ready. Additionally, I was also informed that a 21-point inspection, including an oil change, was conducted before I took possession of the vehicle on Feb. 1st. If this is true, why does my vehicle show only 44% oil life? 39 days into my purchase? Which leaves me deeply uneasy about what is factual and what is a lie. This discrepancy suggests negligence or a lack of thorough inspection--neither of which should be acceptable at a reputable dealership. To make matters worse, when I picked up my vehicle up after the so-called "special battery" purchase, no one from management made any effort to greet me, apologize, or provide even the most basic level of customer service. I have done my own research and found many more unhappy customers on other platforms. It is clear that my experience is not an isolated incident and that your dealership has a long-standing issue with customer service. I expected a response from a service manager addressing my concerns and assurance that my vehicle has been properly inspected and repaired by a certified technician. Additionally, I urge the general manager to reevaluate how customers are treated and how managers follow up with customer complaints. Right now, Beamon Toyota is failing horribly in that category! It would be zero if I could make it zero. Really upset about the experience at Beamon Toyota Nashville TN sales department. Very unprofessional. We were in negotiations for 2 cars. We came to an agreement on the price on the first car and the ball started rolling on the paperwork for that when I thought we were still in negotiations for the second car. The second car price they offered to me was way off what another dealer had offered me out the door as in $5000 more for the same car, package and add-ons with the exception of one add-on. I told the salesman my bottom line and went to the back office to finish the paper work on the first car. When we arrived at the dealership, they knew we had to leave in 2.5 hours. When I had to leave, I looked for the original salesperson who I thought was working on my deal but he was nowhere to be found. So, I texted him and he said he was working on it. The salesperson said that it was a yearly service for five years where our car would be professionally detailed and cleaned each year. Said it was a money saver in the long run as compared to buying the service one-off five times. Two years after our purchase, we arranged our second appointment, only to find out what we bought was a one-time job with a "5 year warranty". We basically bought a fancy wax job under the guise of us getting our car professionally cleaned every year. We feel like idiots for believing these people. Don't ever buy anything extra from Beaman when you purchase your car. Upon purchase of your car, they take you to a back room with a final person and display service options for you to pick. The buying process was fine -- we stuck to our guns and made sure we got the car we wanted instead of one on the lot. This is about the service department. They will rip you off. In 2021 I had service on my Prius done at another dealership as I was outside of Tennessee -- that included flushing the coolant, brakes, and transmission. The next time I brought it into Beaman, they recommended the same service, because they didn't bother checking Toyota's own service history for the vehicle, and I ended up agreeing to have the same work done again (after the fact I realized what happened; I do take some blame). That all came to over $700 in unnecessary maintenance, down the drain. Then, just recently, I took it into for an oil change at Beaman they told me that the brake rotors were showing a troublesome amount of rust and instead of resurfacing, which is the standard procedure for a reasonably new car, they wanted to completely *replace* the rotors on both axles, at a cost of over $1,300. I was hesitant because I had never had any noise or unevenness, so I had Firestone perform their own inspection, and they determined that not only did I *not* need completely new rotors, that the rotors weren't even rusted enough to warrant resurfacing. I dodged a bullet there. Now I'm wondering just how much unnecessary maintenance they've done over the years. I will never be taking my car back there again. I'm looking at the other reviews of the service department on here, and they've all got similar stories. What a joke. My advice -- once it's out of warranty, take your Toyota somewhere else for maintenance! Firestone was honest and quick. read more

My daughter needed to have a nut tightened so that her passenger windshield wiper would work. That part of the insanely high bill was $109.95 in labor because they had to "inspect" it to see what was wrong. I knew that was what was wrong just from my daughter's description of it to me. I unfortunately had my first car accident recently and my car was totaled. I spent two or three days car shopping at other dealerships but couldn't find what I wanted for the price. By the end of Saturday evening, I was ready to pull my hair out. I was looking online at Beaman's website because we had already bought three vehicles from them in the past and have had zero issues. I called and asked to talk to someone in sales. Chris Chambers answered and was very polite and answered all of my questions. He went ahead and got the car cleaned up and left the keys on his desk so he would already have everything ready to go when I came Sunday at opening time for a test drive. I was satisfied with services at Beaman Toyota, where I bought my 2016 RAV4, until the company was sold and the dealership relocated across town. I continued to take my car there for routine service, but was increasingly unhappy with the poor communication and length of time it took for routine service of my vehicle. In 2024 and April 2025 it took me multiple calls to get through to someone to find out when I could pick up my vehicle -- and had to put my foot down and insist on timely service when I was told on Friday noon they might keep it over the weekend! (I had brought the car in -- with an appointment -- early Thursday morning.) When I finally got my car serviced in early April 2025 I paid over $2200.....then two months later the car dashboard starts displaying a "maintenance needed -- see your dealer" message! I had no desire to deal with Beaman again, so contacted Terry's Service Center on Hillwood Blvd, explained the situation, & brought the car in this morning (7/3/25) to be evaluated. They found that the oil had been overfilled in April. I also needed a new air filter, although Beaman had supposedly replaced it in April. Terry's suggested I contact Beaman to have them remedy the problems, but I never want to deal with Beaman again. Instead, I paid Terry's to do the services correctly. I do like my Toyota, but if I buy another one in the future it will not be from Beaman, and I will not seek service from them in the future. If there's something I MUST see a dealership about, I'll consider the dealer in Franklin or Gallatin. Be wary of the current Beaman dealership/company. read more

Joshua and his manager were unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable, so I left. Joshua pressured me to write down the amount I was looking to pay OTD cash when I haven't even fully want to purchase the car, and he even forced me to sign the paper. Every salesman will ask you this question, but you have the obligation to not answer. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience. Worst salesman I've ever met. They want you to be realistic with the negotiation, but they're not realistic with their final price. The irony. During negotiation, the manager interrupt me so many times and wouldn't let me talk. Whenever I tried to talk, he told me to stfu and listen. I'm a young woman in my early 20s, and he thinks I'm stupid, so he belittled me. Dealership in general take advantage of woman who are young. Little does he know I have a mechanic brother who fix up cars his entire life. I take my mechanic brother to the dealership every time we test drive. In that moment, i wanted to leave so bad, but he wouldn't let me and continue to say "I'm trying to help you, so listen." I felt like i was being hostage. So, I pretended to listen. I wasn't paying any attention. When he realized I wasn't paying attention, he kicked me out and said "have a nice day". I was actually relief when he released me. Kinda made me chuckle how he wouldn't let me leave when I wanted to leave, but when he realized I wasn't paying attention to him, he kicked me out. To anybody who is thinking about purchasing a car here, don't. Go to other Toyota who will cooperate with you. My brother bought his 2024 Toyota Highlander at North Nash Toyota for a good price. Baeman could never. P.s. the manager told me I'll never find a better pre-used car like 2020 Toyota Camry 24mi they have in the lot, that cost $27k!!! Guess what? Honestly, where do I start? Car sales isn't personal. It's a business transaction. Everyone is trying to come out with a good deal. The only way you get a good deal is to settle on price. Look, car salesman aren't going to feel bad for giving you a high price. Yeah, they can try to negotiate it with NADA, KBB, etc, but at the end of the day, it's up to either party whether to agree to a transaction or not. Likewise, I'm not going to feel bad for negotiating for a low price. That's just business. It's honestly nothing personal. However, when I suggested my price, instead of talking to me like a normal human being, 2 managers will come out to intimidate you and make you feel bad for giving such a low number. Yet, do you see me bringing my proverbial managers to intimidate the car salesmen? Of course not, because buying a car is a strictly business transaction. So my hybrid car will not start so I take it to the dealer, Beaman Toyota to have it looked at. I'm told it'll be about $198 for the diagnostic, and as a car was towed there--I say yes. Later on in the day they said they're gonna have to run a more detailed diagnostic which would be an additional 700 or more dollars and I have to agree to that, so now I'm looking at $900 or more to just find out what is wrong with my hybrid which is almost 10 years old. After agreeing, they tell me the battery is bad and the terminals are corroded so in order to replace the battery it will be an additional $6000, --thank you Toyota. The next two days we buy two Toyotas, non-hybrids and spend over $70,000. When I went back to get stuff out of my Avalon, which I did not replace the battery on. I was told I would have to pay the entire $900 that I still owe for the diagnostic, I asked about forgiving that amount as I bought two rather expensive cars and they said it was too late seems incredibly petty to spend two days on a diagnostic that did not figure out that a 10-year-old hybrid needed a new battery for $6000 and then rub some more alcohol into the cut and still get charged for the diagnostic, I did not did use --very bad taste in my mouth on this dealership. I've been a Toyota owner for 12 years+. I took my Prius in because the check engine light was on. They had to perform 3 diagnostic tests to detect the issue. The cost for the 3 tests were over $830. Once this was completed the Service Advisor, Natasha (very nice lady)called me to let me know that after their testing, they recommend a new engine for my car. When I asked how much she said $14,606.84. I couldn't help but laugh and thank her for her help. I then took my car to a locally recommended Auto Repair shop, explained my problem to them. After their diagnostic, parts and labor, I was out the door with 4 new coils, 4 new spark plugs and at a cost of only $5 more than the diagnostics from Beaman Toyota. $835.35 lol Bottom line is the Dealership is actually a Stealership. $5000 over MSRP during covid - never forget their greed! During Covid i was supposed to buy a Tacoma from this Dealership. We agreed upon a price, then they emailed me a contract with an inflated price. I called the Manager who lied about his pricing. Never trust this dealer ship or their Manager/sales people. read more

Buying a car/truck is not everyone's fave thing to do but there is something awesome about driving a new car off the lot. I will tell you we had a very positive experience all the way around and just had to have something adjusted after a week; no biggie and they got us in and out in 30 min with a 1 pm scheduled appointment....So the aftercare is obviously as important as selling a vehicle. Care, Integrity, Honesty were all attributes of this deal and I will deal with them again down the line both for purchasing and servicing. I brought my Highlander in for a recall and scheduled service. The recall was for the front bumper. After two hours they told me that the recall work was done and they were going to do the service items. After 5 hours they came to tell me that they had bad news. They told me that they were not able to do the recall work due to damage to the bumper. To add context, the left fender / bumper has scuff marks on it that are easily visible. The service they did was top fluids and rotate tires, routine items. Asked what took them 5 hours to realize there was damage. The scuffed bumper is visible to the eye. They had no explanation. When I asked if they could repair the bumper , they said , no- take it to the body shop.I feel like a competent service department would have spotted the issue very quickly and not fed me mis-information after the first two hours that the recall was done. This is the second vehicle that I have purchased from Beaman Toyota.. it is also the last vehicle I will purchase there. I will do no more service there as well. If I could give zero stars , I would. Ironically the recall is to install parts to prevent the damage I had to my bumper. So if you are driving a 2021 Highlander, you are driving with a defective front bumper. read more
