I tried one of their more popular drinks - Strawberry Shortcake (4/5). It was good and definitely worth trying. The prices on the menu might seem a bit high, but they're pretty aligned with the current market in the area. Beaming is located inside of the Club Studio gym. You don't need a membership to order from them (They're located right at the gym entrance). They have a variety of protein shakes, smoothies, juices, and acai bowls! I got the Live Beaming smoothie with 27g of protein. It was so delicious and filling, perfect for post-workout. I also loved that their menu has short descriptions of each drink. For example, the Live Beaming smoothie is their '"all-in one" nutrition smoothie'. It's really helpful for people who are beginning their health journey. They are on the pricier side, and I hope there can be a stand alone location in Sacramento at some point. read more

I really wanted to like this place, especially given its convenient location inside Club Fitness. But after giving it a fair shot, I have to say--it's overpriced for what you actually get, and the experience left a lot to be desired. For nearly $26, I received two items that were just okay. I understand they're using high-quality ingredients with fewer preservatives, which is a big plus, and I can appreciate that. But when the final product doesn't reflect that quality in taste, texture, or presentation, it feels like a waste. I ordered the PB Strong which was so thick I had to use a spoon to eat it. I also ordered a heated burrito, which came stuck to the bottom of the to-go container. It was practically glued on, making it impossible to pick up and eat like a normal burrito. I had to use a fork just to get through it and ended up throwing away most of the Cheese tortilla casing, only eating the filling. Not ideal, and definitely not worth the price. What really caught me off guard was how slow everything was. It wasn't busy, but it still took a long time to get our drinks and food. There was only one person working, which might explain the delays. That said, one positive is the variety on the menu. You do get options ranging from low protein to high protein, so whether you're looking for something light or something more filling, you won't feel limited in your choices. The range is there--you just have to hope what you order comes out right. If you're just looking to grab a quick protein bar or bottled drink, you'll probably have a better experience. They do offer a decent selection of pre-packaged options, and that might be the safer route. But if you're thinking of ordering anything freshly made--smoothies, bowls, burritos--just be prepared to wait, and temper your expectations. At the end of the day, yes, you'll get your nutrients and protein if that's your main goal with well sourced products --but for the price, and overall experience it was okay. read more

Great smoothies when they actually show up. I just started going to the gym they are inside in the last month and this is the second time I've went for a drink after opening time and no one shows up. Of the three times I've went to get something, they've only been there once. They advertise that it's a great convenience to download the app so that you order in advance and can get your drink right after your workout which I did, set for 7:10 am pick up and no one ever showed up. The ladies at the gym front desk had to tell me and another woman who had also preordered that it looked like they were not coming in. Also we were already charged the price of our orders so still hoping I can get in touch with someone for a refund. To be inside of an upscale gym I really expected much better service. read more

Went here on their opening day and I got to try their coffee smoothie and it was delicious. I also liked the kick of spice in there, probably from the mesquite. I tried the grateful greens. I'm pretty sure they added water instead of almond milk when I watched them make the shake. Def more green in the photos than what I got... for 11.00 I would not recommend! You're better off making your own. read more

It's official, I hate beaming. Walked up, saw the girl in the back doing nothing. Stood there for 3 minutes and left. That and the last smoothies I got were the worst I've ever had. I almost walked across the street to get my smoothies from the other place by chipotle which is worth the walk. I wanted to give beaming another try and yep, they disappointed yet again. read more

The drinks aren't consistent and the hours won't work in your favor if you have a late class. Multiples times I have stopped by and there is only one worker, with a line and takes about half an hour from when you stand in line to when you'll get your item. Definitely needs work. read more
