Got the Phin Taro Coconut, and it was so delicious! The service was quick, and the place is absolutely adorable. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in town!

I was in the area so I wanted to check this place out. I've been to their other location and this is one smaller. Sunday morning was a little bit busy. You order from a kiosk. Got the Uji Gold and Tiramisu coffee. It was a bit of a wait for the drinks to come out. Maybe 10-15 mins? The place is cozy and I saw bunch of people studying. The matcha was good though. I can really taste the matcha. The coffee was good too but a little too sweet as expected. Interior is Vietnam inspired and cutely decorated.

Stopped by on Thursday around 1PM to try this place out. Very nice and comforting inside, includes plenty of seating areas and the decor is cute. We used the self order machine and for our two drinks it was about $20 after tip. We ordered 1 Midnight Matcha (M - $7.50 + $1.25 for boba) and 1 Uji Gold (M - $7.50). Our drinks took about 10 minutes to make after placing our order. Unfortunately, the drinks weren't the best and we didn't try it until after we left so it couldn't have been remade. I saw them sifting the matcha but we still had tons of chunks in both of our drinks and it tasted pretty watered down. For $20, I would expect it to taste a little better. Overall experience was okay, we didn't have really any interaction with the employees so I can't say much about the customer service but the aesthetic was nice and everything was clean. Since I didn't like the drinks I probably wouldn't visit again anytime soon. Also, the croissants on their menu are from CostCo bakery.

Vinhouse is a popular Vietnamese Cafe in Elk Grove that serves strong Vietnamese coffee, teas, and matcha lattes! I have had their Vietnamese drip coffees, fruit teas, milk teas, and matchas. I used to visit all the time during my high school days. Everything is delicious and not overly sweet! Service is good and last time I went I was given a buzzer, which allowed me and my family to find a seat and relax while they get the order ready. It's usually busy every time I go and a lot of students go there to study. I don't think I would be able to do that because I will be distracted by the constant noise and fragrant smell of coffee beans. I am a bit wary of their croissants because it closely resembles the ones from Costco. I also remember watching a video that shows them restocking it from the store bought plastic box. As I am reading reviews to confirm, it looks like it's true!

I do like all the coffees at this location. Its adjustable and you can also order online, which makes it super convenient. I do like their loyalty rewards because not all Vietnamese coffee shops have that. I ordered their jelly coffee drink today. It was tasty, dessert like almost kinda drink as it was more sweet and smooth than strong coffee. I wanted to try their mini banh mi too since I was starving after my workout. It was $5 for the regular one, but I added the extra $0.50 for floss and pate. I wohld not get this again as it was not worth the $5.50. There was no substance. I'd rather go order a regular sandwich at the sandwich shop. Iykyk. This location is great to chill at, even study if you need to do something. I liked the decor and tables and chairs.

Tiramisu Macchiato with a type of salt foam- toppings lychee, regular boba - dont expect to sip the lychee (they were humongous)

02.21.2026 - VINHOUSE - ELK GROVE, CA TIRAMISU MACCHIATO -From the very first sip, this drink felt like comfort in a cup. I ordered it with light ice, lychee, regular boba, and a generous layer of cheese foam--though I can't quite recall the exact name of the combination. Even with "light ice," it seemed closer to 30%, but surprisingly, it worked in the drink's favor. As the ice slowly melted, it gently softened and blended the cheese foam into the tea, creating an even silkier finish toward the end. The flavor itself was absolutely delightful. I also requested a macchiato addition--while the distinction was subtle, it added an extra layer of richness that made the drink feel thoughtfully crafted. The cheese foam was the true highlight: creamy and lush, with a delicate buttery note that reminded me of that magical moment when cream is just about to transform into butter. It had that indulgent, almost nostalgic richness--comforting and familiar, yet refined. As someone who appreciates buttery flavors, I had no complaints at all. Beyond the drink, the café experience itself is worth mentioning. The space is modern, impeccably clean, and beautifully minimalistic. Its sleek design feels intentional without being cold. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, filled mostly with students quietly working on laptops--whether studying or simply enjoying the ambiance. There's an easy sense of community in the air, the kind of place where time slows down and you don't feel rushed. It's the sort of café that invites you to linger--where one drink turns into an hour of quiet enjoyment. I'll absolutely be returning to explore more of their menu. If you're looking for a thoughtfully made drink in a serene, contemporary setting, this spot is well worth a visit.

Had to try their elk grove branch since i already try their other branch. Like their fruit teas, very refreshing and the place was an absolute aesthetic. Good place for just chilling, talking with your partner or friends. Heard that their matcha is a bomb really wanted to try it but unfortunately, they ran out that time. But will go back here again to try that for sure and their food. The only negative is they are too slow for just a 1 order. It takes us around 20mins just to get our order. So hopefully they improve on that one. Other than that, i like the place and a vibe of it.

Ordered a medium sized coffee tiramisu with extra espresso and it came out to $10.50 after tax. This is what I received. The cup was incredibly small. When I asked, "Is this the medium?" the barista stumbled over his words and said they were "new medium cups." You can see other reviews less than a month ago, and the cups were more substantial... If I had to guess, these probably only hold around 12 ounces of liquid. Talk about cheap! I won't be back. For expensive coffee, you should be getting more.

I stopped by Vinhouse Coffee in Elk Grove and the place delivered exactly the kind of quiet charm a café should. The matcha latte was smooth and just the right amount of sweetness. I don't like my drinks overly sweet. The vibe inside is relaxed and welcoming.

My pick up and go for my matcha and ube drink and it's a perfect balance of matcha and ube. Not too sweet and not too matcha and just enough ice. Each sips def a sugar rush and I love it. Only place I'll grab my drink. The service is always pleasant and fast and I like this location. Busy but fast. It's always a treat.

Grateful to have the chance to try this place. At 3:30pm on a Tuesday, there were several tables taken by students studying and friends hanging out. I ordered Phin 85 (condensed milk, hazelnut, coconut, tiramisu cream). It was perfect. I don't recall being asked whether I wanted it hot/iced. It came out ice which worked for me since it was a warmer day in the week. Good assortment of items in the case. Stayed in and got some reading done. Great study music in background. Look forward to trying other menu items.

I've been coming here religiously for years & it's taken me awhile to post a well deserved 5 star review, but I absolutely love Vinh House! My favorite drinks are the tiramisu milk tea, hazelnut coffee, and matcha. The drinks are so consistent, I've never experienced a bad drink here. It's a small coffee shop with a few tables so I usually grab my drink and go. Updating my review, please bring back your other lids because now I can't sip my matcha foam on the uji gold :(

I'm in my matcha era right now. I've been going to every place that sells premium or ceremonial matcha. I ordered their strawberry matcha with oat milk and a shot. I've been to Vinhouse prior for their coffee and their coffee is very strong. Their matcha is ok, it wouldn't be my first choice in terms of quality. If I was in a pinch, I would go here though. Pros: plenty of parking, this plaza can get busy. Staff answered all my questions when I asked. I love that I can control the sweetness, their drinks can be very sweet. I go here when I want strong coffee because I know they pack a punch. Cons: space is limited so if it's busy, it's not somewhere to hang out.

Unfortunately, this one just didn't quite hit the mark for either of us. The matcha flavor was very mild and almost tasted watered down. We both found ourselves wishing for more of that earthy matcha flavor to come through. The strawberry portion also wasn't what we were expecting. I tend to prefer drinks made with fresh or macerated strawberries, and this tasted more like a strawberry jam or puree. If that's your thing, you may enjoy it, but for me it just wasn't my jam. Literally. My friend and I also shared a chicken sandwich. It was okay, but nothing really stood out about it. I found myself wondering what type of chicken was used because the texture wasn't what I expected. It almost reminded me of either canned chicken or shredded rotisserie chicken, but I wasn't entirely sure. The café itself was pleasant enough, and there wasn't anything specifically wrong with the experience. We just both walked away feeling a little underwhelmed overall. Helpful tip: If you're a big matcha fan and prefer a stronger matcha flavor, you may want to ask if they can make it with an extra scoop. Staff is friendly here even while they are busy perfecting our drinks drinks aren't too sweet which i love! I've tried their strawberry matcha and its one of the best I've had. Not too sweet and not too bitter! I also tried their jazzy limeade! Its a unique and refreshing tea perfect for the summer. If you get this drink.. be aware it may seem bitter to people because of its unique flavoring profiles. Get it 75% sweetness and once your ice melts a bit .. the drink is super tasty, unique and refreshing!! they also serve sweet taiyako with unique filling flavors! I was super excited to try out Presotea, And I tried it two times now…read more On my first visit I tried a jasmine tea, which is my baseline for comparing Boba shops. I substitute the dairy or opening, made it less sweet, with less ice. I added boba, And was disappointed because the bubble was not sweetened and there was a lot more food than expected compared to other boba shops. The pearls are also smaller than used to. My other drink was a white peach tea, also. For both milk teas that I received, I could barely taste any tea. Those teas we are also very lightly sweetened when I requested for less sugar. I think that full sweetness actually would be enough sweetness for me since I usually get one level last week anyway. For the third drink, I ordered a enemies coffee, At my second visit, I tried signature fruit tea and the hojicha winter melon tea with pudding. The signature fruit tea was 100% sweetness and was not really sweet. I had also asked for the size. For the winter melon milk tea, I opted for the regular dairy option, which made the drink creamier than the first drinks. I had full sweetness for the string, which was pretty sweet considering that there are winter melon pieces in there, which would be a burst of sweetness. Overall the shop is very clean, plenty of seating. Service was pretty friendly! Overall, this is a solid boba shop for this side of Elk Grove!
