My ice latte w oat milk and sea salt caramel

Such a hidden gem tucked away in a mini business office park. Bean Crema operates a little food truck/portable in the courtyard, overlooking Larkspur/Corte Madera creek. They are so friendly and you get such a sweet and welcoming vibe from the young lady who works there. Feel goods before you even order anything! Now to the main event - I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito and an iced latte w sea salt caramel. Yeah buddy! My burrito came piping hot, with some home made salsa. Even though I ate it a half hour after picking it up, it was still nice and hot and AMAZINGLY delicious! It tasted homemade, and the flavors were perfect. Iced coffee was phenomenal. At a price point of ~$21 for both items, how could you go wrong? Such a great price for high quality, home made food. I've also ordered to-go traveler size (~10 servings) containers of coffee from them, and they did not disappoint with the temperature and fixins. I totally recommend this spot for high quality breakfast pick ups and good tasting coffee.

We love visiting Bean Crema. In the morning, they have excellent cappuccino and breakfast burritos. My fajita salad today was delicious. Perfectly prepared and so yummy! Run by the sweetest couple, located on the outdoor patio where Jason's used to be.

Spur of the moment, I went with a friend to try this little cafe cart based on other reviews and because it is located perfectly next to a path along the bay. It was just as adorable and it was delicious (we both got dirty chai lattes and their veggie breakfast bagel). The cart's crew was amazingly kind, the views were spectacular, and I highly recommend if you're in the area :)

What a great little find! Drive by this coffee truck all the time and have always wanted to check it out. Both me, and the other two guys I was with are super glad we finally did! We ordered a cappuccino, espresso, breakfasts burrito and breakfast sandwich. All were fantastic and reasonably priced. The food was made to order and very fresh, and my cappaccino was made with care. I also really liked the outdoor tables and chairs. We will definitely be making stops here from now on.

I had what I always get at delis: matzo ball soup and a pastrami sandwich. The matzo balls were hard and thick, which is one of the two ways to make matzo balls, the other being soft and fluffy. This way isn't wrong, but the other is better. The broth is good, but there was no shredded chicken in it, just tiny cubes of inconsistently cooked vegetable, celery and onion and I'm not sure what all else. The pastrami was quite lean but managed to be fairly juicy. I'm pretty sure it was made from brisket, which is not the canonical pastrami cut. The important part is that it tasted like pastrami and not like brisket, which a lot of would-be pastramis can't manage. Get it "tradition" style on rye with deli mustard. Small place in a yuppie shopping center. Order at the counter, wait (a very short time) for your food to be brought to your table or counter spot. Daily newspapers for you to read.

The resulting vibes of inconvenience when they had to back out the item and then try to figure out how to refund me? I told them to keep the difference because the service took such a noticeable dip. Although they have quite a bit of seating, when I got my fries the flavor just wasn't there and even though piping hot some pieces were still raw in the middle. Finally, the quality on my side of pastrami wasn't good and after googling it apparently they buy from a confidential source. Overall, in my experience their food tasted like lower level diner fare and I threw out most of it out.

With its spacious seating, glass enclosed doughnut display, walk up wall menu on the exterior and its open concept register counter it is truly inviting. With a menu of unique flavors and those same flavor options beautifully displayed behind a glass window, we had to order a few to try. Flavors available were coffee cake, blueberry lime, lime poppyseed, vegan guava, and chocolate chip cronut - these five we ordered, Other flavors included brown butter glaze, strawberry, chocolate vanilla crème, raspberry jam, cinnamon glaze and sprinkles. Lemon blueberry was very lemon forward with subtle notes of blueberry. The doughnut itself was crusty and soft at the same time. We enjoyed the pairing and texture. The coffee cake was just that, a crusty soft dough with the crumbly topping of coffee cake goodness and all those spices too. The lime poppyseed was light, soft and airy with a citrusy zing of lime. It was the most refreshing of them all and this is coming from someone who is not a big fan of lime. The guava was like biting into the fruit, not too sweet on an airy, soft dough. The chocolate chip cronut was a flaky layered croissant like dough that tasted like a chocolate chip cookie with a decadent chocolate frosting. It was quite the pleasurable treat, our daughter loved it. The staff, compiled of two women at the front, were friendly with smiles. Our treats were packaged in a beautiful white and gold box, it looked elegant when presented to us. There is the availability of drinks to order like tea and coffees. We would most certainly return for me. I'm curious to see what other flavors and combinations Johnny Doughnuts presents to us.

Came for a small group lunch, as we often do, and we enjoyed the meal, as we always do!…read more We sat on the patio, and although we waited a bit for a straggler (the usual suspect!), we were quickly offered a drink order and gladly enjoyed big glasses of iced tea and fountain soda. Finally, the crew was assembled, and we ordered some favorites, plus a couple of new items. Variety is the spice of life! I was one of the holdouts against that, but I did tweak my usual order a bit in a show of solidarity. We ordered two lunch specials off the board, an egg salad sandwich with potato salad, and a bacon, cheddar cheeseburger with grilled onions and many other toppings (lettuce, tomato, and such). We also ordered a hamburger (a regular for us) and the Grilled MAC (my usual), but I switched the bread from my usual sourdough to rye while still keeping the Swiss cheese. All the burger folks had a side salad, which disappointed me as I usually collect a French fry tax from others. But not this time! Ugh - the fries here are outstanding! But so are the salads, soooo... My Grilled MAC, which I usually get on sourdough, was STACKED with grilled mushrooms! I love mushrooms, so this was heaven for me. I liked the rye as a change as well, so either that or sourdough moving forward. All the food was great, as the photos will show, and the serving size is still decent for the price. The salads are indeed good, with a nice variety of vegetables with the lettuce. Speaking of lettuce, the two burgers had a LOT of lettuce, and the burger folks took it off their burgers and added it to their salads. The egg salad sandwich, on lightly toasted bread, was indeed more of an "egg WITH salad" sandwich, having lots of lettuce and tomato, and not enough egg salad (for me), but the guy with that sandwich did not complain and said it was very tasty. Because there was also a birthday among us a few days before, we HAD to celebrate with dessert and chose the apple and mixed-berry pies. They also had blueberry, but I have had these two before and really like them. They did not have ice cream, though (), but a decent whipped cream helped. The apple pie was hot, and although a bit charred along the crust edge (even I do that at home), I just broke it off, and no loss really. The pies were very good. Overall, the food was great as always, and our server Clarita and the beverage guy (sorry, I did not catch his name) kept us in our place! Looking forward to the next lunch outing.
