my and my partner came into town this weekend and weren't sure where to eat so we looked on yelp for something nice. we came across beans n buns and thought we should give it a try. me and my partner were greeted warmly by staff when we first arrived. the overall atmosphere was very light and fun. it was self seating service and the staff got to us efficiently. i got the chilaquiles and my partner got the onion ring burger as well as an order of fried pickles, a mimosa, and a honey whip dream coffee. the ranch on the side of the "frickles" was not out favorite. (we love a hidden valley) but the fried pickles were fried perfectly! they were very crunchy and flavorful. the chilaquiles were amazing and it was a very big portion. my partner was very pleased with their burger which was also pretty big. the coffee was very good as well, sweet but not overdoing it. i highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!! read more

Wow! Just wow. I order the churro lover iced and was delicious, truly delicious. For breakfast I had the chilaquiles with pastor and an egg and it was phenomenal, crunchy but full of sauce, homemade pastor and the egg cooked runny enough to make a mess on the plate. This a true Mom and Pop place. I learned this when "Tamaya" came to see how the food was after we finished our meals. She seemed professional, so I asked her if she was the mgr or owner; she is the owner. She works the front end while her husband works the kitchen, We met him earlier when he brought out the food. Nice presentation on both of our entrees. I had the omelette and it came out tasty! It came with a side of potatoes, which were hot, not simply warmed from a steam table (which I despise). DELICIOUS! I really wanted the chillaquas (sp?) but they don't come with any side. Later I asked another server, then found out he is the owner, along with his wife, about why no sides and he gave a good explanation, there's 8 tortillas in them! Too bad my server didn't know all this when I asked her about this. Then the owner came by to check on us & I had to give a 5-star. Whether you're a college student or a family, this place has it all. Amazing breakfast options, burgers, etc. not to mention the DELICIOUS coffee. I got the fruity pebbles iced and loved it, my boyfriend got drip coffee and the americano and loved it as well, there's truly something for every tastebud! The classic avocado was delicious and so flavorful and my boyfriend got the golden yolk and said it was great! Hands down the best chilaquiles in town! You can taste all the ingredients in every bite, the pastor was cooked perfectly. Their Homemade chips are crispy, salsa verde had amazing flavor. The service was good as well but with it being opening week I think they are just trying to figure out how to operate a little bit. You don't order at the counter unless you're taking coffee to go, otherwise you sit to order & dine! Inside is cute and has great spots for two people or small groups. If you're a larger group, I wouldn't recommend unless you're okay sitting outside! Probably not going back again. The menu items sounded really good but were actually a little disappointing considering the price. I spend $30 on fried pickles and a bagel. They messed up what I wanted on the type of bagel and type of meat I wanted on it. The fried pickles came with French fries with ketchup and ranch. The ranch was nothing more than the plain Heinz dressing which I found disappointing. The service was not terrible but not the best. It took a while to get our order and received the check. Completely watered down with a strange, unpleasant taste that made it hard to even continue drinking it.
