First time appointment at Bear alignment was told to come in at 2:30. An hour and a half later my car was still untouched for service for an alignment job that should only take an hour. When I asked why, They simply said they had two people working. I said I understand but I had an appointment. What's the point of an appointment if I have to wait an hour and a half for my car to be serviced. They could've told me that they wouldn't touch my car for a few hours, I would've made other arrangements but there was no communication. I believe they prioritized larger jobs over mine. They will take your car and put you down for an appointment and disregard your time. Too bad, I have several vehicles but I won't be bringing them to bear alignment. Don't be fooled by a family owned business, They simply don't care. I suggest taking it to a place that has More Employees and a business owner that respects your time. read more

I just purchased new tires and wanted to get a 4 wheel alignment to make sure the tires wear properly. Called Bear Alignment and Brake in Moreno Valley and spoke with Brandon. He seemed up front so I decided to have them do the alignment. I was not aware of any issues but then an hour into waiting I was told my car needed front struts and rear shocks. I was NOT informed that the car would need an other alignment once I did get the struts replaced. Instead they proceeded with the wheel alignment which I paid. It was then I was told that my tires may wear out faster if the shocks and struts were not done. This was after they took my money for the alignment. Brandon say he would offer me a free alignment at no charge if I get the struts and the shock done at their shop. However the price he quoted me was 25% more than the other shops I called. They are a good shop just make sure you know all the details before you say yes and pay. read more

I first came here about 3-4 months ago because of some stuff...I don't know much about cars but it was a pretty serious issue. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner. As they had to take it in that day because they said I shouldn't be driving it, one employee was even able to take me home! To pick my debit, bring me back, and then drop me home! They have very good customer service and I basically lived there. That day and the day I came to pick it up, they allowed me to use their wifi for my laptop as I work at an online charter. THIS TIME*** As I am going on a road trip soon, I went in because something was squeaking and thought it had to do with the repairs they did before...it didn't, but free inspection and it was done same day. I only payed for labor and bought rear brakes and the routers from Pep-boys. Going to see them next week for my new belt installation. Anyways, I come back because of the people there. Was recommended here couple months ago. I replaced the front outer tie rods so I asked for a front end alignment and after they got it on the rack I heard the airgun going but didn't think to much about it until the mechanic called me back to show me that the wheel was loose because the inner tie rod was bad. I may not be a certified mechanic but I know a hustle when I see one, the mechanic loosened the lug nuts just enough to cause the wheel to move from side to side as he demonstrated it and concluded that I would need to replace the inner tie rods before completing the alignment. I said nothing and just left, a simple inexpensive alignment to a much costly repair. The sad thing is this shop has a lot of 5 star ratings but it also has comments about up-selling other items /repairs, I only call it like it was. The inner tie rods were found to be in excellent shape after further inspection by myself and another mechanic. read more

This is my first visit to Bear Alignment & Brake. I called and scheduled my car oil and brake appointment with Brandon. Brandon was very helpful and nice over the phone scheduling me an appointment. I arrived at Bear Alignment and Alexis at the front desk was very nice and polite. She took care of everything for me. The lobby is nice and clean. There's a plasma TV where I watched and chatted with another client. They have a Keurig coffee station that is fully stocked with everything. I appreciated the gesture and great customer service. I waited only an hour for my car to be done. The guy (I did not catch his name, sorry!) gave me a print out of an estimate. I did not feel any pressure. I mentioned to Alexis that prior to coming here, I would have my car oil change services done at Discount Auto Tires in Redlands, CA and would have to wait hours long just for my car oil change to be completed. I was displeased with that. Alexis was sympathetic and cared. I highly recommend coming here for your car services. I will refer my family and friends here and will return in the future. Now that I see your response to my 1 star, I am even more concerned about Bear as a company. An appointment should result in a shorter time (not a long time for everyone despite an appointment) and I know from doing my own oil change, with pump to suck hot oil out of my car, that the entire process takes around a half an hour (working slowly - with "safety" in mind it should take at most 45 minutes). Your response attempted to justify your poor performance of a 2 hour time to change an oil, rather than admitting that you went a half an hour over your routine time ("1 1/2 wait time"). I also know that your "free" digital test takes only a few minutes and can be performed while replacing the engine with new oil (so this does not add to the time for an oil change). I was not offered a "loner car for free" and I don't need your financing (How is cost of doing business adding to the time to complete an oil change?). The point I am making is that you attempted to justify a long wait, rather than admit that, with an appointment, the wait was excessive - at very least by a half hour and by my experience by an entire hour. read more

Completely upset with the service I received at this location. I took my car in for an alignment they ended up telling me my car needed a caster shift and camber bolt. They ended up doing the caster shift and alignment. When I left the shop my car was making an awful noise that it never made, I couldn't explain the noise. I ended up taking my car first thing Saturday morning to the dealership (because this location was closed for the memorial weekend) to check out the noise my car was making, turns out this location that did my alignment and shift left the bolts of the frame under my car completely loose. I'm currently 8 months pregnant and don't know much about cars and I felt taken advantage of and I'm completely angry/ upset with this. Now I have to pay again to have the dealership check out all the work that was done because I lost trust in this company and wouldn't want them touching my car again. $189 down the trash. read more

I had an appointment and still waited 2 hours for an alignment. Then I was told i shouldn't drive my car and to keep it parked due to issues with the wheel. I ended to driving it to Vegas with no problem. These guys are a rip off, I would never take my car here! Anyways total fees would if came out to over $900, after only coming for an alignment.
