I was stumped, I am a relative good wrencher but needed to have a second pair of eye's and knowledge of diagnosing problem. I had a very high mileage Ford. This car no matter the smog repairs made it still wouldn't stop tripping the CK engine light. The vehicle ran well and very smooth and no drivability problems. It was the technicians diagnosis that the timing chain has moved on bank 2. I will tear down and let you know. It could be just a lot of slack in chain. This is why you shouldn't buy Ford products, just poorly engineered and always a disappointment. read more

I took my 2015 Ram truck in for what I thought was a transmission problem. I also knew it needed some other work and just needed to get it taken care of. Desiree at the front was super polite and very helpful. She was asking what the truck was doing and tried to get as many details for the technician as possible. Later that day I received a call from Desiree stating what the technician had found, and was very upfront with the pricing. I authorized the work that I wanted to have done and agreed to what I thought was a fair price. It was done fairly quick and I had the truck back in a few days. They even offered to send someone to pick me up to come get my truck if I couldn't fine a ride. Woodcrest auto was very professional and polite. In response to the message I received: When you say your "sorry about my issues with my car" I came in because I had an issue with my car but did not expect to leave with those same issues and have to get them fixed somewhere else. When you say that you used aftermarket parts and not used parts, do after market parts usually have the serial numbers scratched off? The part said Mazda but was redone, whenni looked up what an aftermarket part was it said they were "replacement parts that are made by a third party, rather than the original equipment manufacturer." You also don't address why I was asked to pay when the insurance I used did not require a payment. If you don't want to take insurance don't, instead of wasting people's time and money. read more

A young lady working the service counter by the name of Desiree was very attentive in helping me. She wasn't able to find a set of wiper blades and asked me to return the following day, which I did. She had tracked down a set of factory windshield wiper inserts. She took the time to install the wiper inserts. The young lady Desiree went beyond the extra mile to help me, her customer. They quoted my 21 year old daughter 2600 for repairs and 200 for quote or diagnostic . I requested a parts list along with labor cost to which they provided in writing. Based on the high price I decided to get a second opinion and have the car towed from there shop. I informed them the tow truck was on the way. Not less than 5 min later shop manager called me and started back peddling on his quote stating they weren't complete the car is acting funny etc. it's was complete I have the quote in hand - long story short The cost to fix my daughters car was a 12 dollar part - They knew the were caught hook line and sinker as soon as they new I was having the car picked up. Great and fast service even though it look like they were very busy. Gave me a ride home. Everyone was nice and helpful.

I brought the car in for a water pump that was going bad. Kevin took notes and gave me diagnostic fee. He called within the first hour to notify me of what they found. My heater hoses were leaking and initially thought my oil filter housing was bad. I appreciate Kevin walking me thru the issues and also sent pics of the car's undercarriage to show me the problem areas. I was happy when Kevin informed me the oil filter housing was OK. It was the water leak from the hoses that made it look like the oil filter housing was leaking. He didn't charge me for stuff he initially thought the car needed but didn't.
