In 2021 I spent $10,163.00 on 4 new ductless units. Upon completion, none of the units worked. Two were left with visible holes drilled in the wrong place, one unit was obviously not level. One installer told me my ceiling was slanted? I actually had to go to Mark with info on all 4 units showing times, result before he would send a repairman out. No refrigerant in the line to any unit. May 2025 I spent $15,885.00 on a new furnace and heat pump. When installed it did not work properly. Service call two days later, still not working properly. Did not use over the summer. November the service calls started again, until the repairman stopped communicating with me. It took a complaint to the Construction Contractors Board in January, eight and one half months after installation, for Warren to call me. Warren and Brandon came out, hooked up a loose wire, problem solved? I have no faith in the service calls, what I am told, or anything else from SOHAC, so now I must use a different company for maintenance and repairs. Michelle was always friendly and helpful. Brandon has my sympathy. Communication, no. Customer service, no. Al Schaller

Joshua and Tyler showed up on time, discussed their work plan for the day with us and completed the job on time. They were courteous and professional. They explained everything they did and included us throughout the day in the process. We felt informed and acknowledged. The system is running quietly and we instantly noticed the difference in performance compared to our old unit (different brand). The replaced unit was hauled off at no additional expense. Southern Oregon Heating and Air impressed us, we are happy we opted for their business.

Came by after work and fixed the problem explained care and feeding of heat pumps and furnace. He took his time and explained in terms I was able to understand, even though I am sure he would rather be home and relaxing. I now realize there is a lot to understanding a heating system. I highly recommend Mark and Pacific heating and cooling to anyone that needs help. BIll H

Short version? CALL PACIFIC! Long version? Our system hadn't been serviced since we bought the house 4 years ago.  The Grants Pass, OR based installer had retired and I had to find a knowledgeable alternate.  My challenge was finding a reliable maintenance company who truly understands these systems. My search led me to Mark Webb and Pacific Heating & Cooling of Medford/White City, OR.   While Pacific can handle the typical HVAC calls, Mark's company KNOWs Geo; installation and service. When my system started having trouble producing heat, I called Pacific in for the maintenance.  Now Merlin, at 40+ miles away, is well out of Pacific's normal service area but Mark found time to fit us in quickly.  Mark's communication was excellent (timely texts to confirm the appointment, tell me he was on the way, about to arrive etc).  He was punctual.  He expertly evaluated the system, executed multiple maintenance procedures and repairs, replaced faulty components with OEM parts (who else carries "ClimateMaster" parts on the truck) and quickly had my system pumping out 91 degree air (up from 66) in no time.  Of equal benefit, he carefully explained GeoThermal theory to me simply and then provided web links to ClimateMaster maintenance info so I can handle basic maintenance like topping off coolant, burping the circulation pump, and identifying trouble codes in the future.  Nobody likes a surprise when the bill comes in and I won't divulge pricing but let me say that I was surprised ...PLEASANTLY ... the fee for service was significantly LOWER than my lowest estimate.  And he showed me some system design improvements to significantly improve the systems basic performance.  Now ... I don't write reviews unless the organization EARNS one.  In Mark's/Pacific's case ... for EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE and winning a LOYAL customer who will tell others "For HVAC or Geothermal installation or service ...  CALL PACIFIC" Hugh Griffiths Merlin/Hugo, Oregon.
