Fantastic, I just moved here a few years ago and I don't know anyone to get a referral for a new air conditioner heater but I called many companies, I choose this company! I was warmly greeted by Sheri, on the phone, Jerry her husband came by with choices of prices and units, my dogs love him like in really love him that is a great sign!!! He is an expert, a seasoned professional and a great vibe like family! I agreed to go with them, I have interviewed other companies yuk in comparison they felt like used car salesman the bad kind don't be offended if you are one. They showed up on time, I opened my front door and Zach, greeted me, so kind with a warm smile he said "I am Ready to go to work ." HE had all things in his truck and went to work immediately. This was a smooth professional experience. This is a great company. The capacitor went out in our AC on a 90 degree day - of course. I got on Yelp and they had a good rating. I called and talked to Sheri, she was very nice. She set up an appt. for Monday (this was Fri) I took it and she asked if they had a earlier opening did I want it, I said yes of course. A couple of hours later that day she called and said Jerry could be here in 45 min, yeah! He was very friendly and loved our dog - that made him a-o-k in our book. During the hot spell we had this summer our heat pump decided to quick working properly! My husband called a different company 2 times. They told him they would call back both times, but never did. Then I called 2 other places. One couldn't get to us for a few weeks the other didn't come this far out. But they recommended Grants Pass Heating and Air. I am so glad they did. These guys are life savers! I'm a 67 year old widow. I bought a home 7 months ago and, after our first big heat wave, my a/c quit blowing out cool air. Of course, it was a Friday evening. I called this company on Saturday, even though they were closed. A wonderful lady, Sherry, called me back. She said soonest they could come out was Tuesday late afternoon. I set up the appointment (many a/c repair companies aren't even taking on new customers). About an hour later, Sherry called me back and said she would somehow fit me in for Monday!! As it was 87 degrees in my house, I was ecstatic! Zachary and his co worker came out Monday afternoon and fixed the problem within 1/2 hour!! It was also a very reasonable cost. Bless you guys! Used these guys because their sticker was on the unit and you never know who to call when your a/c stops working. Last summer and now when it started getting hot they came out and took care of the problem. The customer service makes the difference. They stay in touch and let you know when they will be there and followup when you have to wait for a part. I will continue to use them until the thing is too old to fix, then get a new one from them as well. Highly recommended. read more

Just want to give a shout out to sherrie and jerry! They are amazing kind hearted souls. We had issues with our ac multiple times over the past few years and they have always been there to help. The past month has been super difficult for my wife and I as we have just had so many things not going our way from multiple things in our home going out to family deaths. Our tx valve ended up being our main problem. After fixing and getting our unit to start up again. We didnt have a way of being able to pay for it at all right now with all the other issues that have arose of late. I came in this morning from moving the water in the yard to find my wife in tears. I asked her what was going on and she told me Jerry decided to surprise us and is installing or tx valve free of charge. It has been a reminder to us that there are kind people in this world and helped to renew our faith that everything is going work out. I was having a problem with the emergency heat on my heat pump. Jerry came out and said it needed a new part. I can only up the temperature by 1 degree to avoid the emergency heat from coming on. He recommended a new thermostat that would prevent that from happening. He and Zach came out today and installed it. Not only does it prevent the emergency heat from coming on, it's also Wi-Fi. I can access my thermostat from my laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Yeah! I wish I knew this years ago. I would recommend this company for any repairs or updates to your existing system.
