While on our way to California we stopped over at a Medford hotel. I dropped off our van for a scheduled service for the next morning) at the local MB dealer; unfortunately I arrived long after they closed (8:30pm), so I needed a ride back to our hotel, 6 miles away. After traveling all day to get home on Christmas we landed at 1050pm in Medford only to find uber and Lyfts prices doubled due to supply and demand on a holiday la couple taxi company were not even running fit to holiday, Well bear creek was not only there when we needed them there was no price gauging and the car was clean and warm and big enough for 3 of us and 6 large pieces of luggage! We used Bear Creek taxi service for our wedding event on May 31 Which included three different taxis at two different times during the day to transport bridal party to the venue and then at the end of the evening to pick up the bride and groom to transport to their honeymoon suite And all the vehicles were pristine clean, drivers were so friendly and all were on time. My brother uses Bear Creek Taxi for trips to hospitals, doctor visits etc. He gives high praise for their service. This week he went to the hospital for a test but ended up being admitted. He left his dog at home. When we learned that situation, we called Bear Creek Taxi, Allison specifically who was supposed to be picking my brother up after his procedure. Allison was exceptional! She got the house key from my brother, hid the key near his home, which helped us get a pet sitter for the dog. She even gave us suggestions for a kennel to board the dog and answered our many questions about the Medford, OR area. We are out of State (in Indiana and California) and know no one. Without Allison's help, our brother would have had a dead pet. I cannot give enough praise to Allison and Bear Creek Taxi. I don't use a Taxi for long rides, but anytime my wife and I have used a Taxi in the Rogue Valley, we've truly wondered if the vehicle would get us to our destination. Drivers are either on something or not quite right in the head. This past week, we used Rob's Bear Creek Taxi after simply googling. To my surprise a gorgeous nearly new Jeep Grand Cherokee Wagoneer arrived early with a professional driver. What a delight to finally have a classy Taxi service in the valley...if I was going on a long trip with a service anywhere within the I-5 corridor, I'd definitely use these guys! Today was an experience that I have to share because of the extraordinary way Rob (owner /dispatch) and Annabelle (driver) @ Bear Creek Taxi took care of their passenger's needs. I work at the medford airport and this lovely (senior) passenger came to check in for her flight only to realize that she had dropped her cell phone (and ID) in the back seat of the taxi. She remembered that the driver, Annabelle had given her a business card. So I called Bear Creek Taxi and spoke to Rob, who radioed Annabelle, who looked in the back seat of her car and came directly back to the airport to give this sweet woman her phone. She was nearly in tears, knowing that without her ID (that was with her phone) she couldn't fly! All's well that ends well. Our passenger is on her way to visit her daughter in California and Rob and Annabelle are ready to transport the next customer. There are truly wonderful people in Medford, today I met 3 more ! The owner/driver did not return for us as he stated he would. He left two old people waiting in the cold rain. When I called him, he said he took another fare and we would have to wait at least an hour and a half before he could come. We will not use Bear Creek Taxi again. read more
