Did pick us up on time...that's the good. The bad was that the taxi smelled of cigar, driver almost hit another car. We were headed to the airport at 3:45am and he told us that he was just getting off his shift. He drove the wrong way and was very apologetic but after almost hitting another car and telling us he was sorry and it was the end of his shift...we won't be using them again. read more

Do NOT try to use this taxi company for an early morning airport shuttle. They completely dropped the ball and I had to scramble to make other arrangements at the last minute. I called them the night before and asked if they could pick me up at 5:15am and they said yes. I gave the dispatcher my name, number, and address. The next morning at 5:25am I called to ask where my taxi was and the person that answered said "I don't know, I just got here, let me check and I'll call you back". He called me back and asked for my address and then said "I'll send him now, he'll be there in 40 minutes". What? I ended up just cancelling, will never use this taxi service again. read more

Terrible! Called them twice in one night and they failed both times. I was having an evening at a cocktail bar when I decided to get a ride back to the hotel 2 miles away. I called five star taxi and they said it would take 30 minutes to pick me up, so I ordered another drink, since I had time. Five minutes later they show up. I let them know that I'm not ready. I apologized and I let them know that I will call him again. when the bar closed around midnight I called him back, they said it would be another 30 minutes. I ended up waiting 45 minutes, when I decided to call A to B taxi service. They told me they would pick me up in five minutes, showed up in three and brought me to my destination. I called to make a up reservation 14 hours in advance (the night before). Five minutes after my pickup time I called to find out where my cab was. To my disappointment, the "night shift had not transferred any reservations" apparently. There are two things a cab company needs to do: 1) pick you up from a destination 2) take you to said destination, everything else is just convenience. They were unable to do this :-( If price is your highest priority, not arrival at destination. You might give them a try... Lol read more

I had a great experience. The rate was reasonable. The cab was nice and clean. The driver came five minutes early and was really friendly. The only reason I'm leaving four stars instead of five, is because dispatch kept calling him while he was on the road (he said they weren't supposed to call while he was driving). Overall, great experience, and I will use them from now on! read more

This morning, along with 3 other mornings in the last 2 weeks. I have had guests at my hotel make appointments for your company to pick them up; only to be left high and dry with the simple explanation of "no one has made a reservation for you." then you guys couldn't even pick them up. I could see the frustration on my guests faces as they were relying on you to take them to the airport. THANK GOODNESS FOR 'TikTok Taxi' they have saved our butts every time this has happened. Very clean cars, I don't think I have ever been in one of their cars that was dirty or stinky. The drivers are very nice and actually get out and help with your groceries. My family doesn't have a car, so when we aren't walking or taking the bus, we're taking taxis. We used to use Budget or Affordable. But their service started to decline (we once waited 1 HOUR when we were told it was a 10 MINUTE wait) so we tried 5 Star and never went back. read more

Very upsetting experience . . . the driver did not call when he arrived, or have the courtesy to get out of his car and knock on my door. When I looked, he was not out front, so I called to say "Where are you?" He yelled into the phone "How did you get my number?" Mean! And then yelled again. Obviously I cancelled. The dispatcher told me that the taxi would arrive within 20 minutes. 30 minutes later, still no taxi. . . I called back and the dispatcher said that the driver had come to my location but in fact he had not. An hour later the taxi finally showed up. The driver had obviously accepted another fare after my pickup had been scheduled and the dispatcher was not honest with me at least once if not twice. Later that afternoon I used Lyft to return to business where I had scheduled the 5 Star Taxi pickup. It was my first ride-share experience: On-time and at least 30% cheaper including the tip. Had an excellent taxi ride. The lady who drove us was so incredibly nice to us. Our car broke down in Medford so she took us to the airport to rent a car and waited for us outside just to make sure there were still rental cars left. Turned out there were no rental car left so she took us somewhere else. Even though our road trip was stressful, her incredible customer service brightened our day. read more

If possible I would give this company negative numbers for my review. I pre-booked pickup by calling at noon for an 11pm pickup. I left my number and was told they would call when nearby. They never showed or called. When I called them to ask where my driver was, I was told 20 minutes from my pickup location. The inept dispatcher had written my cell down incorrectly by 1 digit. (Was this my fault? Isn't it part of her job to get the clients number right?!) After being assured the driver was now on his way and would arrive in 20 minutes, I waited outside on a street corner alone in the dark. I should mention I am a woman and it was now close to midnight. Still no one came. 20 min later the driver finally called, at 12:40 a.m., said he had not started driving yet and was still at least 15 min from me, and then hung up on me, saying he was not coming at all! So after 40 minutes total delay, alone late at night, I called Yellow Cab who came right away and transported me home for a flat rate that was $15 less than 5 Star had quoted me in the first place! The next day I tried to leave a message for the owner Gary which was unreturned. This is an UNRELIABLE CAB COMPANY AND WILL LEAVE YOU STRANDED! Avoid at all costs. Twice now have scheduled times in advance for them to pick us up to take us to the airport. The first time, they were very late, but the driver was very nice and didnt charge us because he was so late. We decided to give them a second chance...but the second time, they were even later. I called when they were 10 minutes late and the person answering the call told me the driver was on his way. 15 minutes later I called again, and this time they didnt answer, but I received a call from the driver a minute later. He told me he was just told to call me and had no idea why. I told him I had scheduled this 2 days ago and they were now 25 minutes late, he apologized but said he had no idea, and that he had another passenger and could not get to me for at least another 20 or 30 minutes. Maybe longer. I told him to disregard, as we would miss our flight if we waited that long. Too unreliable if you need to be somewhere on time.... we will not be using them again. read more
