I hired this company in September 2025 to paint my kitchen cabinets and paid $3,200 for what was supposed to be a complete, professional job. The price included covering the ceiling, walls, and floors, light sanding, bonding primer, and Dunn Edwards Ultra-Premium paint. Unfortunately, the results have been disappointing from the start. Since the project was completed, the owner has already come back twice to touch up areas where the paint failed. Even after those visits, the finish still doesn't hold up, and I've had to keep touching up the paint myself because I'm tired of repeatedly contacting the owner. For the amount I paid, I expected durable, high‑quality work -- not ongoing maintenance. On top of that, the workers left behind large amounts of trash that I had to clean up and dispose of myself. For a company that advertises professional service, basic cleanup and quality control should not be optional. Overall, the workmanship and materials did not match what was promised, and the experience has been frustrating. Texture turned out pretty good, after the second try, only noticible if you know where to look. Painting was done in a professional manner. Sean is fantastic. Here's the thing I like about Sean and his team. I've used Sean 3 times, and I've never met someone who is so honest and kind about what needs to take place. He knows exactly what he's doing, he's efficient, and I have never been disappointed with his work. After one year things started to peel I asked him to come back out he said send him pictures I did, he said I didn't paint that, I sent the receipt HE WENT SILENT.. I have to say BEAR PAINTING really is awesome! I had called Sean the President of the company to give me an estimate. He had arrived in the morning on time and was very polite and professional. He gave me an estimate the next day and his price is very reasonable. His crew came on time at 7:30 am and immediately started the prep work. I had the upstairs and downstairs, hallways and one bathroom painted. They were very fast and thorough and completed everything by 3:30! He said he would have an estimate emailed to me the next day because he knew we wanted the work started right away and completed before Christmas. I never received the emailed estimate. I left him 2 voicemails over the next couple of days to which he did not respond. I called again on the fourth day and he responded. He said he didn't send me an estimate because his price was expensive for the work I wanted done and he didn't think I would accept it.
