I took 6 cashmere sweaters for cleaning. I got them all back with random holes all over them. These were rarely used and I won't be wearing them to dress up anymore due to all the damage on the sleeves. These sweater were dirty but had no damage on them. The worst part is that they didn't mention the damage to me when I picked up the clothes and I noticed it once I took it out to wear one. I then noticed multiple holes on various sweaters. I won't be going back and wont bother to confront them given the fact that they weren't upfront about it, I doubt they will be accountable for their actions. If you decide to take your items, make sure they sign off that there is no damage on the items for accountability. read more

I took my coat a month ago to have it dry cleaned. Yesterday, I was going to wear my coat for the first time since I had it cleaned at this location. This is when I noticed that the belt for my coat was missing. I went there to see if they have it. All they told me was that I took my coat without the belt. All lies. I always take my coats to have them clean with my belt on it. I'm so disappointed. Partly I'm mad at my self for trusting them so blindly that I never before check my clothes when they return them to me. My advice to you all is check your clothes and take pictures of them before you drop them at this place. Always check them when you pick them up as well. I'm so disappointed in them. I came here because supposedly it was budget friendly and although it does have some bad reviews I tried giving it a chance but this place is just ridiculous I came to get a child dress just needed steam ironed nothing else .. ONE item NOT a big dress just a regular child dress. $25 dollars !!! More than half of then what the dress was worth I was quoted I ran out of there as soon as I heard and went to one down the street that charged me $7 dollars for the same dress and the work was great service was great. While I never encourage anyone to submit last-minute requests, I was in a unique situation this morning and needed for my rank to be updated on my service coat ASAP. I called this business, and although a bit reluctant due to being busy, the gentleman at the front was willing to help me with this substantial last-minute favor. I'm beyond grateful! Expensive as many over priced dry cleaning. Let's start with the good. They have a set day when your cleaning will be ready. Wednesdays and can be very quick. Bad is that they don't do a very good job on cleaning. I took my coat. And it still had dirty marks on it. They of course claimed it was washed 2 times but they did not say that until I questioned them on the dirtiness. So, if that was the case they would have told me before I questioned them. Beware, pricey but if in a pickle and just need something quickly then come here and hope it comes out good. read more

Bear Valley Cleaners is the best cleaners in Moreno Valley. I've lived in various parts of town over the last 50 years. I have used many cleaners during that time. However none come close in comparison to Bear Valley. The quality of work is high. I've not had any problems with the work quality on my clothes. The rates are comparable and feel fair. This is a family owned business that treats the customers like family. You are always treated with respect, always! They are extremely professional and truly offer excellent customer service! Had some work pants tailored and hemmed. Twice the hem has come out. Took it back once for them to fix the hem, and they charged me again for their shotty work. Also took in a vest to have some patches put on professionally and they had the nerve to overcharge for the work ($60 for 5 patches) They didn't even tell me the price until I went to pick up the vest to which they didnt even bother to clean or press it. This must be new management because I've never had this level of bad experience and terrible sewing work all the years Ive gone to this location. The woman behind the counter is terrible with customers and service. They overprice everything for crappy service and handling of your clothing. Wont be coming back to this place!! I had been taking my dry cleaning to Bear Valley Cleaners for almost a year. Their service was okay. I was new to the area, so I had a hard time finding a cleaners. Over time, I noticed they kept increasing their prices. They charged by length for dresses; which I thought was odd! On three occasions, I have taken 3 different summer dresses to have them dry cleaned. To my surprise, upon picking them up, I noticed they were never dry cleaned. So, I had to complain and return them to be cleaned properly. The last time I took an item of clothing to Bear Valley Cleaners. I needed a zipper replaced on my Army Jump Suit. They seamstress charged me $38.50 for the zipper. She explained to me that she was going to put a gold zipper in place of the black plastic zipper that the manufacturer used. Furthermore, I explained to seamstress that she was over-charging me. Nevertheless, I need the item repaired right way. I told her not to wash and/or dry clean the Jump Suit, because I had just purchased it. Unfortunately, when it arrived in the mail, the zipper was already broken. When I arrived to pick up the Jump Suit.. I looked at the Jump Suit before paying. I noticed that the Jump Suit was badly faded. Apparently, Bear Valley Cleaners washed the Army Jump Suit in hot water, and faded it badly. In addition, they did not replace the black plastic zipper with a gold one. They used the same zipper; just repaired the bottom of the zipper with a few stitches. This was unsatisfactory service. As a result, I refused to pay for the service. This was the worst dry cleaning job I have ever seen. I've always taken my dry cleaning down to hill and didn't want to have to drive down the hill this time with gas prices. This is the 1st time I've used this Big Bear Cleaner. Ive used other cleaners for 26 years. I went to pick up my cleaning today and I couldn't believe the lousy job they did. I had several sweaters, scarves, pants and a wool blanket which I paid extra for. I brought their attention to spots on the wool sweaters which they tagged. When they returned my dry cleaning, all the sweaters were dirty, still stained, cuffs and sleeves still had rings from wearing. The scarves were just as dirty as when I left them. The blanket had human hair and dog hair all over and spots on it. I asked for my $ back and they wanted me to resend back all the clothes. I told them no, I'd like my $ back. After a long discussion on the poor work they did that wasn't cheap $104.50 which i had already paid they returned $40. I took all my dirty ironed clothes back and told them I would write a review. My advice take your money and your clothes somewhere else. Check review on Yelp. They must have remove all the bad reviews on their website. I don't like giving bad reviews but I really hate that they are taking advantage of people. I'll continue taking my clothes somewhere else. The clerk in the office up here was very sweet and definitely apologized for what she could plainly see. They don't clean well but their charges are high. They iron over dirty clothes. read more

Customer service is the key to any successful business, especially a small local business. Although it was my first time here, I was greeted by an amazingly happy woman (I regret not getting her name) probably the business owner. She dashed to the counter so fast once I came through the door it was as if she was trying to beat me there. Great conversation and smiles the whole time. I felt like I was a long time customer and that my business really mattered. Clearly their business really matters to them, thus their focus on customer service. Having several garments altered, will update once I see the results (I'm expecting they'll deliver perfection). The store was clean and all their racks were full of other customer's garments who also seem to like their service. Seems like a great find for me (and you if you're in the area). read more

I guess Bear Valley cleaners has changed owners, not sure. What I do know is that I've been going there for a little past 15 years and that cleaners was always well kept with cleanliness and the people very courteous. I've NEVER had an issue with ANY clothing items being cleaned..... in over 15 years!!! Well as recently as late April, 2023, my husband brought in a dress that I wore Easter and I've had for over 8 years to be cleaned. I picked up the dress yesterday, April 27th and the navy dress showed what looked like large "bleach spots"on the front and back. I returned with the dress this morning and showed the " owners" the dress. Granted and very fortunately I found the dress on Poshmark. I showed the "owners " a picture of the dress on Poshmark and was refunded the amount shown. But what if this dress that is over 8 years was NOT found.... Whew!!!! Although my situation was resolved, I cannot in good conscience return to Bear Valley Cleaners. I'm just saying read more

I brought my comforter/ blanket for my bed here to be cleaned. Its a King size so it wouldn't fit in my machine. I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price, it was $25. I'm not sure if that's normal, just seemed like a lot. However, the end product was great! It was really clean, only took about 4 days, and there was no left over smell which is a super plus for me. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. I plan on coming back here for dry cleaning and to alter a dress. They are very professional and the place is clean. read more

By Far the best dry Cleaning Service. We do not go very often but when we do as soon as we walk through the door we are greeted by name. We hand over our clothes and our ticket is handed to us, less than 2 minutes literally we are in and out. When we pick up she sees us get out of the car, we walk through the door and our clothes are handed to us. No wait at all. Again, in and out in less than 1.5 minutes. EVERY TIME. I've noticed repairs done on areas that I did not bring to their attention. We are moving soon and I told my husband, I am considering driving 40 minutes out of the way to come here for cleaning service just because of the service we get!!! read more

This place is the worse cleaners ever. I took 5 pieces of brand new clothing and my daughter's Pea coat to be cleaned. My daughter's cat sprayed on it, so I took it in to be cleaned. Picked up our clothes, to find out a few days later (because I did not smell them at first when I picked them up). My new clothes still smelled and felt brand new, never washed and my daughters coat still had cats urine on it. I paid $31. for our clothes to be cleaned and all I got was them ironed and placed in bags all nice and neat. Never ever will I take anything there again. I give this place a 0 star rating. My suggestion to you if you have your dry cleaning done there. Smell your clothes before leaving that place or they won't reclean them!!! read more

I needed 2 comforters dry cleaned , they were able to do both for $60. 1 day service and comforters looked great , definitely recommend for that. I did not give 5 stars , because i wanted a pillowcase zipper repaired and the cost was $18 and would take 3 Days , i just thought it was a little high.
