Wonderful experience at Bearcat Baked! The service was so friendly and helpful, the restaurant and seating area was clean and comfortable. All the food was absolutely delicious. The seasoning on the potatoes was amazing, all the pastries we tried were fresh and flaky, the cooking on the eggs was perfect, and the wrap was heavenly. Also very good coffee drinks. Highly recommend

They are baking magicians. The baked goods are wildly delicious. The smell is incredible. Kinda small space but get a baked good and go for a walk.

This is a gem of a coffee shop and bakery. The array of sweet and savory baked goods is impressive. We had a banana cinnamon bun that was served warm and was familiar and comforting but also a little surprising. It was also large enough for two adults to share. The fresh squeezed OJ was truly a highlight, so sweet and refreshing. Eve the plain old drip coffee was good.

I love bearcat restaurant so I was excited to try their bakery. I got the Thai ice tea donut and the ham and cheese croissant. The pastries were solid, nothing special. Taking off stars for cleanliness. I dined in and the floor was gross. There was food crumbs all over the floor. There's no way all of that was from one day. Additionally, the chairs were nasty and I could tell hadn't been cleaned in awhile.

We came here because the wait at Bearcat CBD was so long, everyone just come here instead! Longest wait was the line to order itself, but so worth it. The breakfast BLT did get a bit soggy on the bottom so was a little hard to eat, but it still tasted great. Highlight was the breakfast potatoes, some of the best I've ever had and so flavorful! The danish and their baked goods were also delicious.

We love bearcat. Plain and simple. This bearcat ups a level with their baked pastries and coffees. If you can get a fig berry jam croissant, it is worth the wait. Decedent and crispy. Would not hesitate to eat seven of them. The breakfast platter is similar to other bearcat establishments, but amazing overall! This is the place to grab bearcat favorites and pastries!

This was a nice and roomy bakery/cafe near my AirBnB. Thought it would be interesting with their unique goods + coffees they offered and I'm glad I did. One of the employees (didn't catch his name) recommended the Coconut Donut and Pain Au Chocolat as that's what Bearcat is known for. I grabbed a Maple & Sage Latte for myself along with five different pastries - Everything Bagel Bun, Pepper Jelly Cream Cheese Bun, Pain Au Chocolat, Bear Claw w/ Almond Filling, and Sweet Bun. If I didn't do a to-go order, I'd definitely sit here. It has a very chill atmosphere.

Absolutely loved my time here! Went on a little brunch date this afternoon and we had a great time! Although it was downtown NOLA, we found a sound place to park right down the street from here. As we walked in, we were immediately hit with a wave of hot pastries being made and coffee being brewed -- Absolutely love that smell! Originally, I planned to get some pastries and try a selection of drinks but then we realized they serve the full menu of Bearcat brunch so we got the Hot Chicken sandwich and Classic Bearcat breakfast. For food, I'd give it a 8/10 but I would still go back for more! The Hot chicken came out to be a large sandwich with a side of their potatoes. The chicken was crispy and not too spicy, but a little bit more on the charred side for cooking. The classic breakfast is always a hit in my books but the bacon was more well done than i'd like. I'll be back for the bakery items! Also, the hot Purple mountain was pretty good! I would rate this separately as a 9/10! The service was okay. Nothing too special.

Why wait in line at the restaurant when you can sneak right in here for the same quality food, a large selection of baked goods, and your morning coffee. I'll admit, there were 6-7 people in front of us at 8am when they opened the doors, but the line moved quick and most people took their pastries and coffee to go. That leaves you with plenty of tables and a quick turn on the breakfast menu. Pancakes were nice and the fresh blueberries are a great addition. However, the breakfast sando was the true standout - the eggs were light, the sausage tasted freshly made and perfectly spiced, and the biscuit was deliciously buttery. I grabbed an eggnog and white chocolate cookie that came across like a lightly dressed up sugar cookie, but I'd gladly go back and try all of the other pasties. Get in here before people find out they don't have to wait 2 blocks over.

In town for a conference and I'm always seeking out good food, great atmosphere and good vibes. Highly recommend the staff and anything they make. Btw they make the ricotta in house.

Bearcat Cafe was jam packed with a long line and wait list for lunch, so we walked a block to their sister branch Bearcat Baked. So glad we did! Ample empty tables and a chiller vibe. They serve a similar menu, along with fresh baked goodies. Service was quick. Staff were friendlier and less harried. I loved BC's shrimp & grits and it was available here. Shrimp were plump, juicy and cooked just right, although the sauce tasted a bit different than the cafe's. Grits were oddly cold in one spot in the bowl. Also had an Americano and a slice of coffee cake -- a lovely finish to the meal. Bearcat Baked only had blueberry muffins and coffee cake in the pastry display case by early afternoon. Go early for better selection!

I had a great experience at Bearcat Baked! The bakery was a few minutes from our hotel and still had plenty of goods within closing hour. My party tried an iced vanilla latte and maple latte with sage. Their espresso is excellent and the drinks were tasty and well crafted--it takes a few minutes to get your drink order, but it's worth the wait! We also tried the coffee cake and bearclaw. While both items were a tad dry, they were full of flavor and served in large, shareable portions. They had many other pastries that looked good and their sandwiches smelled amazing too. I highly recommended this spot if you're looking for a quick coffee/snack break in the downtown area!

Couldn't get a seat at Bearcat Cafe? In a hurry and need a quick pick me up?? I recommend stopping in to Bearcat Baked! They are a small cafe offering the baked goodies from the restaurant, plus a little more if you need something a little heavier. They offer counter service. Place your order, get a number, and take a seat. The breakfast menu boasts sandwiches, burritos, and scrambles. They also offer a smaller lunch menu including wraps and sandwiches. The pastry menu is just amazing! And honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the offerings. I plan to make either the restaurant or the cafe part of my regular rotation when I'm in town.

We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children (one being only 2 years old), and because of that they changed our table type from a 4-top to a 5-top and made us wait an additional 30 minutes. Meanwhile, multiple tables became available that easily could have accommodated us, but the hostess was determined to keep telling us we had to wait. To make matters worse, there was open bench seating in the back where customers ordering to-go could sit. I offered to order food to-go so we could at least sit down and get started while waiting, and she told me if I did that they would remove our name from the waitlist because "you have to pick one or the other." No willingness to problem solve whatsoever. She repeatedly said she was "sorry," but her actions showed the opposite. I was simply trying to work together to find some reasonable solution instead of continuing to watch everyone else get seated while our family, including small children, kept waiting. Absolutely horrible customer service experience.

Their coffee is also really good and pairs perfectly with the food. The staff does a great job keeping up with the rush. The only downsides come down to space and logistics: Limited Seating: There is very little room inside, so it fills up fast. Outdoor Seating & Smoking: Because inside is tight, you often have to sit outside. Unfortunately, people were smoking in the outdoor seating area, which makes for a pretty unpleasant experience if you're trying to enjoy your food and fresh air. Parking: It can be quite a hassle to find a spot on busy days, so be prepared to circle the block. Overall, the food and drinks are a 5/5 and absolutely worth the trip, just keep the seating and parking limitations in mind if you're planning to stay and eat!

There is also a charming courtyard if you want to soak in some sunshine. I first learned about this bakery when staying at the Hotel Villa Convento across the street. They served their buttery rich croissants as part of their continental breakfast. (I'm not sure if they still do.) Now that I have a house in the Quarter, I take a morning stroll over here to pick up croissants to take home. The butter croissants are a bargain at $3.50. I also love the chocolate & almond (both are $3.95 each), as well as the crisp & flaky Palmiers & delicate Almond Florentines.
