The coffee and chocolate croissants are amazing! Just a little cozy place that only seats about 4-6 inside but super quaint and right across from the Hyatt Centric. They have great options for espresso and cold drinks as well as a nice selection in the bakery for breakfast on the go.

Only been here once because the staff at Deanie's recommended I try their Oreo cheesecake and that they only have it once every so often. Me being a cheesecake lover, I went for it, and I'm so glad I did! This was probably the best cheesecake I've ever had! They have a lot of other delicious looking pastries, so I hope to come back soon to try them!

I was looking for coffee close to my hotel, and noticed this new spot. I always like to try new places, as I frequent New Orleans. This spot is right by Deannie's Seafood. Inside, it has a very nostalgic look to it, they have a nice collection of antiques inside. I love the decor, the baked goods selection was minimal that Sat. morning which was surprising since I was there around 9:30AM. I wound up grabbing a few pastries (apricot Danish and a chocolate croissant). They were pretty good, I feel like they weren't that fresh. I also grabbed a mini blueberry pie, which we tried a few days later, it was decent. I ordered an Americano and a black coffee, neither was very good and it was sort of hard to tell which was which. I found that strange. Also there were no to go coffee lids, just the type used for cold drinks. I had a 10 min walk back to the hotel with coffee dripping out. There was a young man working, he was very nice and I asked how long they've been in business. He said 6 or 7 months. I gave it 4 stars because they're still a new business and I'm the first Yelp review. I should have given it 3 stars for the food/coffee, but I loved the decor and the server was nice.

This is a hidden gem when it comes to coffee and baked goods. You walk in and are transported to a different time. A nostalgic cafe and candy shop from decades ago. The gentleman behind the counter was kind and friendly (he even remembered me from a few days later when I returned for a snack to go). I had a cortado (half milk, half espresso) and a chocolate croissant. Delicious. Absolutely delicious. Sat in the cafe and just took it all in. As it is located on Iberville Street, there is less foot traffic and has a calmer feel than other places. I know beignets are king in New Orleans, but you MUST try their cannoli. It is divine. There is magic in the mascarpone. So glad I grabbed one before I headed to the airport. Thank you Victoria's Bakery! I will be back!

A lack of choices found in most bakeries. This goes for baked goods and drinks. Waitstaff is not very attentive.

If I were rating atmosphere alone- 3 stars would be generous…read more I am rating product and service because adding "ambiance", would do those who work here and their product a disservice. It takes a while to get your order because of low staffing. That said, when you get it of course it's beautiful and tastes great. Sitting just around the corner from Bourbon St. and the hustle and bustle energy that you walk thorough to get here- walking in was disappointing. It's a large open space with seating- and it's QUIET. No background music. It gives late night diner vibes and honestly, that's too bad. Adding music, upbeat- doesn't have to sound like a club but music and having more energy between staff and customers would greatly improve the experience and I believe, increase business. If there were some Fats Domino or 90s R&B flowing out of speakers and staff were smiling, upbeat, dancing etc. it would give more "legendary" experience verses midnight diner vibe. That alone made me not want to come back. Not everyone wants to drink alcohol so stopping to sit for a well made artistic milkshake is a great option. The energy brings down the vibe and experience. Match the ambiance, service and vibe to your menu and 5 stars all day.

There's a lot of hype around cafe du monde for good reason...I actually came to this location twice…read moreduring my 4 day trip in New Orleans because the beignets here are THAT good. While you're here, I'd say that the cafe au lait is also worth trying. I noticed that the lines tend to be longer in the morning but there was little to no wait at night time. Service is mixed--some workers are really friendly while others seem rushed and are a bit harsher. It is a casual spot and you can pretty much grab any open table to be seated. One thing to note is that it is cash only. Overall, I'd highly recommend this location of cafe du monde!

Anyone who says that Café du Monde is overhyped has not been here! This place was phenomenal!…read more For reference, my only experience with beignets before this was at Disneyland, and everyone told me I had to try Café du Monde. I was a little confused when I first walked up, as there isn't a place to order. You simply sit at an empty table and a server comes to take your order. The beignets were warm, crispy, and covered in powdered sugar. It's hard to explain what they even tasted like because they were just that incredible. I ended up getting them again the next day--I genuinely want to make another trip out here just to have them again. Be aware that it's in a heavily tourist-filled area, but besides that, I loved this spot and will definitely be back the next time I'm in New Orleans!
