I walked in and the owner of the shop Ryan greeted me and told me he would be right with me once he finished with his client in his chair. Once I sat in Ryan's chair he started with a consultation of my hair cut and beard trim. He made my visit very relaxing and comfortable. My husband booked a 12:30. We got here at 12:16. Doors locked. Waited...no one showed. Another guy showed up and found out we were waiting on appointment and called the owner. Got a text a min later from the barber. He wasn't aware of the appointment. And said he was on the way. We walked across the street and had lunch. So it worked out. However, there has to be a better system? We like the feel and look of the shop. It's definitely a man's place. There is a space for the ladies in front of the barber shop. Husband likes it here because they will do his beard and haircut all in one place. This is the second visit and hoping the 3rd time goes more smoothly with scheduling. read more

Visited today for a "bread shaping" on my relatively new (COVID) beard. Ryan quickly assessed what my beard could handle in order prepare for more growth, and quickly trimmed up. I'm a regular here with my husband. We recently noticed that all the GREAT reviews on Yelp disappeared. When we went in and talked to the owner he said he had scaled back advertising with Yelp and that they immediately hid all his gear reviews. Wow! What a terrible thing to do! Imagine you work hard for year and provide amazing services all to have some faceless corporation take it all away using EXTORTION. Why isn't this illegal? The first barber I've been to in Dallas that seemed to worry more about actually cutting my hair and shaping my beard than what mediocre whiskey or beer they could pour for me or how well they faked some sort of hypothetical den/boardroom/man cave. Ryan is the real deal, OG barber who cares about the craft and seems to know worrying about doing the job well means the money will take care of itself. Didn't rush any aspect, in fact told me I booked the wrong appointment and wouldn't have time to do the job right instead of just rushing things along for the cash. Not the fanciest digs, not some wannabe spa/bar experience, just a really really really well done hair and beard trim with attention to detail, experience, and pride in the craft.
