We come to Bearies Acai for bowls every now and then ~ I dropped by for a pick up order the other night on my way back into town because they're open until 10PM, and they're probably the ONLY acai spot open late in the area. All the ingredients taste fresh and juicy here lol. My favorite base is the pitaya but it's nice to opt for a mixture of 2 different flavors. They use a decent amount of fruit and toppings so you don't end up with too much of the plain base on its own by the end of the bowl. Service was quick and the employee who helped me was friendly and prompt. She mentioned they were out of the cashew butter I requested for one of the bowls, so she provided a different butter on the side in a convenient container. Parking is abundant in this area and while the line can get a little long, you can always order online in advance with a specific pick up time. TLDR: Addicting Product, Disappointing Customer Service I've never been a huge fan of Açaí until I tried this place. I find myself going again and again and again. It's a love-hate relationship because each bite is more delicious than the last, but that also means that I'm going to be finished soon. I wish they made a size bigger than 32oz because it is just so damn good I can't get enough. You ever try something new and it suddenly becomes a part of your life like you can never be without it? That's exactly how I feel about this place. My go to order is: 32 oz Acai bowl, chocolate chunk granola, strawberry and banana, Nutella drizzle, and an extra topping of bee pollen. Parking is never an issue so it's easy to get in and get out fairly quickly. The only issue I've come across so far has to be the customer service. I placed a large order recently and realized I made a mistake. I called within 2 minutes of placing the order to fix it, and was told that the bowls had been made already. I was perplexed because when you order through the app, "ASAP" means it will be ready in 20 minutes. I ordered four bowls, and it was ready in less than two minutes? Yeah something is off here. I asked if I could fix the mistake I made and was met with "no there's nothing we can do because it's been made already". I explained how that couldn't be my order because I had JUST placed it, and it's advertised that it would be ready in 20 minutes because I chose the "ASAP" option. They then said that sometimes if they're not busy, they can finish an order in 5 minutes.... Okay. Well this one was done in 2 minutes so they must have The Flash working there. So just a heads up to everyone. Even though 20 minutes is what it'll say in the app if you select "ASAP" your order will probably be ready way before that so don't wait longer than you need to. Since they weren't remotely interested in trying to help me out, I figure I'd just have to take the L on this one. I sent an email to the address they have listed on their website (hello@beariesacai.com) for further help, but don't even bother trying that. The address is invalid so it'll get you nowhere. They should fix that because it's listed on their company website. They have a different email listed on their instagram page (beariesacai@gmail.com) But they haven't responded so I wouldn't count on getting any help. So make sure ya'll get it right the first time, Otherwise you're just out of luck. It's still absolutely delicious though. read more

Stopped by the other night for a late night acai bowl and it was so good! I heard about this place before and it definitely lived up to the hype. Every time I go more Acai is different, even though I order the exact same thing every time, Last week I picked up my order, 32 oz Acai & when I opened the lid 5 minutes later I was missing 25%. It wasn't full. I paid $18 plus I always leave tip & I received 24 oz instead inside a 32 ounce cup. Not happy. One time they ran out of my drizzle so I got peanut butter & 25% of my 32 ounce acid was all peanut butter. Could't eat it, I felt so sick. No only did I waste my $$$ so did bears by giving me all of this. Some days there is a drizzle of almond butter, some days none. Some days barely any granola. I would say for every 2 Acai bowls one is wrong or poorly made. Though when it is made right it is sooo good. I have had a lot of different Acai, even in Hawaii & all over LA. berries is the best. If you're getting feedback that your portions and sizing is misleading, you should address those concerns instead of trying to find a way around it. There is a huge gap on the bottom of my 24oz açaí bowl. If you advertise as 24oz, please fill the 24oz. I asked why there was a huge empty portion and the response was "we don't want to make the top look empty". Judging by how they handled previous concerns about portions, I'm pretty sure that even after my review, they would leave the middle empty or some other way to save a few cents. You should either get smaller cups and fill them up, or actually fill the cup. Açaí bowl tastes good. It really does. But a few cents goes a long way when it comes to food service and a big nono is skimping out on filling a container up. I'm giving a five star to the taste, but taking away 2 stars to an owner who doesn't listen to his feedback. read more

People show up after and I noticed everyone else is getting their orders before me.
