This place is so cool and worth the hype. It is very popular so you may wait in line for 15-30 minutes but the wait is so worth it. I got Golden Tea which was so cute with glitter but even better it was absolutely delicious and refreshing. My friend got the Original Bubble Tea and she loved it too! Came here to try it out and see what the hype was about. The line was pretty long and had to wait outside in the cold BUT the milk tea was good! OK so time to review the hot new trend in glamorous Schaumburg. It is a very cute spot...if you can get it! Yes it is hot and trendy- everyone and their mama(not kidding lots of kids with their mamas) are clamoring to get in. I know when it first opened I drove by so many times because in the polar vortex sub zero temps- there were people waiting in line outside- like 10-20 of them. To that I say-'nah'. So I waited and waited and went on an odd Tuesday afternoon. The line was only about 3 people long but quickly grew to about 15 people behind us while we waited. Basically be ready to hurry up and wait. The menu on the wall will leave you in a state of wanting one of everything. The variety is really awesome. Fruity, creamy, light and everything in between- and everything customizable! So the legendary flasks were already gone so we just got bubble teas- I have to say packaging does do a lot to the cuteness factor- it is a mason jar with a straw top. I had the coffee bubble tea which was great- I really loved it- creamy, rich and just the right amount of coffee. Trendy or not- I really hope to find another quiet afternoon to perhaps experience a glitter flask or another item on their beautiful menu. It is insta-worthy but not wait in line forever worthy. This place was cute. We came here on a weekday and was quite empty. I got the Thai ice tea and my boyfriend got a fruit tea. It was good but quite expensive. I was here to mostly get the glass cup and I'm pretty sure that's why the cost was so high. My bf made a point that the amount of drink is less than a "usual cup from a boba shop" when you get the glass cup. Otherwise it was just okay. Personally, I feel like it was overrated. It was below freezing weather and the line wrapped around the building because Bearology only lets 10 people total in the store. I like the idea of how the bottles are reusable and it saves a lot of plastic cups but the cost for the Pink Lemonade with shimmers in the flask was a total of $9 and the milk tea with the reusable bottle is like $5 or $7.. I can't remember. Nonetheless, I don't think it was worth the money because the pink lemonade wasn't that good and the milk tea was super watered down that I couldn't even taste the tea in it itself. The boba pearls inside the milk tea was alright. It tasted like the 3 minute cook it yourself packages in my opinion. Yes, the drinks are nice to take pictures of but the taste is not it at Bearology. The store itself was really pretty but personally I would not go back again because it's not worth the money or wait. There's plenty of other boba places with better drinks than this place like Kung Fu Tea in Rolling Meadows, Elitea in Fresh International Market, Bobar in Elk Grove Village, etc.!!! read more

I came about a week ago, but left after seeing the line, it was very long. I came back a couple days later and there was no line. Cute decor in building. The drink I got was the mangoberry green tea, which wasn't my cup of tea. Most of the sips I took had a random piece of fruit which wasn't the most enjoyable experience. I've tried their Thai iced tea, and mango. I give those drinks a 3.75 stars, Plus half a star for the glass jar. As you know, every drink has been up charged for the jar. I wish they would have given us that Option to buy instead. Who needs 50 glass jars at home? They do offer 10% discount if you bring the glass jar back to be reused but why would I? That 10% is only maybe 70 cents off. That glass jar with lid cost at least $3 or more online. Overall, it's worth trying out Bearology. I've seen bad reviews and I was adamant to go but really, you should go and experience it. read more

But it just tasted like a regular milkshake i could make at home for way cheaper than $7. On top of that, the line wasn't that long and not many people were there; unlike other days yet a lot of customers weren't being careful with Covid regulations. Bearology is really a five star place and I wish they would open more locations because they would be insanely popular. I traveled 2 hrs from the city and the south suburbs to get Bearology after seeing them on TikTok and Instagram twice . The first time they were out of jars,(at the time my main motivation for going) , but they discounted the drinks and I was still very happy with the drinks. We ordered 5 drinks. The 24K shimmering tea was my absolute favorite. I also got the huckleberry which was less sweet but still very good. My sister ordered a Strawberry Kiwi and it was true to its name and not artificial tasting at all. The second time we came the jars were in stock although angry bird edition and we ordered again the 24K shimmering tea, the Watermelon Green Tea, and the Butterfly lemonade. The Watermelon Tea was so good and was not artificially flavored but tasted like real, sweet,fresh watermelon, and the butterfly lemonade was on the tart end but good nonetheless. read more

My daughter is a tea and a boba fanatic that she will go to great extent just to try it. So this was along the way from her school so she decided to check it out. I got the original with boba and she got the banana infused tea with chia and boba. I liked the glass bottles it came with so we can reuse them! Especially with the Angry Bird design I think it's cute! The drink itself was great tasting as we don't want ours overly sweet. Good quality, but small quantity; not worth waiting in line for. They were not serving their drinks in any novelty cups when we went (out if stock) and we waited in line for 1 hour. Waiting time was due to the shop being staffed by only two employees; hopefully they can increase the efficiency of operations to allow for online ordering. read more

There are many Boba Tea bars all over the Illinois area. Most of these places are very cookie cutter in what they offer. This new Boba Tea bar offers a fresh new item that others do not have. In the Schaumburg area, there are so many choices to get your fix for a Boba Tea. I came across this place called Bearology. They offer some really cool drinks on top of some really cool glassware to drink them out of. I first heard of Bearology through an Instagram post. I saw a gorgeous shimmering liquid inside of a glass flask and thought it was an art piece, not something you could drink. I then learned that Bearology was, in fact, a very popular Boba Tea location that served edible shimmer in their specialty teas and other assorted drinks. I went on a Monday evening to Bearology and it was super busy. I was waiting in my car to see if the line would die down. I then realized there was a constant line of customers that just kept piling in. I decided to just go in and brave the line. I walked in and noticed that it was packed, but the people were moving pretty quickly in line. One good idea to expedite the flow of traffic is they have two Ipads set up to put in your own order and pay with credit cards. They also have an Ipad set up if you need to pay cash. I ordered a couple of drinks. I wanted to put them all in the really cool-looking glass flask that they offer with their drinks. I found out while ordering that only the specialty drinks can be put into the Bearology glass flasks. One of my three drinks did qualify to put in the flask, which was the shimmer pink lemonade. My other two drinks, the banana milk tea, and the strawberry milk tea were put in a small glass container. I received my order relatively fast. I could not believe how cool the shimmering pink lemonade looked and it also tasted really good. My other two milk tea drinks were also very good. My favorite out of the three was the banana milk tea. I really think this place is great for giving its customers a cool reusable glass flask with the drink at no extra price. The drinks are $7-$9 dollars per drink. The draw of Bearology is definitely the Instagramable shimmer drinks and the glass flasks. Another draw of the place is you can bring back your glassware to be reused for a 10% discount. The drinks do feel smaller than other Boba Tea bars that I have been to. I still would recommend checking this place out. I definitely will be back to try their other unique flavors. read more

Since this blew up on Tik Tok, I figured there would be a line and the line was crazy long. I decided to go a few days later and go right when they opened, and there was a bit of a line but nothing major. They required masks and had a maximum of 10 people in the shop. We finally went in and you have to order through these IPads and it took super quick to do. We waited for 5 minutes for our drinks and the staff was super nice! Overall, the drinks are good (I got mango smoothie and my mom got 24k). They are definitely Instagram worthy drinks and I love how they have glass jars you can bring back for 10%. I'm not sure if I'd fall in line for an hour or more for the drinks, but definitely worth a try! read more
