Came here to get some pink roses for my daughter's graduation and after he made the boutique, I walked out looking at it. Noticing the roses look like they were going to die pretty quickly. I went back to see if they could change two of the roses, but they told me that's how they are even though I've had pink roses before, and it didn't look like this definitely expected better service from a local shop. For being later in the day, there were still some bouquets with flowers in good condition available and at a reasonable price. I needed a small balloon accompaniment and they were stocked with a variety. After mentioning where I was placing the bouquet, she offered to cut down the stems to fit nicely in the vase. As a matter of fact, she had the same type of vase from the cemetery to use as visual aide. I was in and out, easy peasy. Very disappointing experience. The lady working there was extremely rude when talking to me about parking. Instead of explaining the parking situation politely, she had a very bad attitude and made the whole interaction uncomfortable. Bears & Roses did an amazing job for our Wedding back in November. We had arrangements done for the Church & Reception. They also did a great job with the boutonniere for myself. We were able to get two pedestals from them for the big flowers for the Church and Reception. I initially accompanied my then fiancee and her parents to the store to check out a sample that Juan had put together. It looked good, but because it was a sample, it was hard to envision what the final result would look like with our colors. We did get the feeling that we had to stay on top of the process or there could be a potential slip-up. We had no wedding planner so we made sure to check in with him from time to time and especially day of (we designated a family member to help out). After discussing in depth what we wanted, we came back and worked over the details of the event with them and talked payment. Then came the day of the event and I was massively impressed. As I walked to the register to make my purchase, a male charged me for the flowers but didn't asked if everything was fine or "found everything you were looking for?" Nothing! My mom didn't know what to do so she just took them and sat in her car and called my sister to let her know what had happened. FYI the guy never gave her back the receipt! As she was sitting in the car the guy ran over to her and said "that is the wrong bouquet" and took the bouquet from her went back inside the store and after a little while came back out with a different bouquet that was still the wrong order. This one had white and pink roses with white flowers that were just SPRAY PAINTED at that moment with light blue (sloppy sprayed to top it off!) And PINK ribbon! It was supposed to be light blue! My niece didn't get to use the bouquet because it didn't match her dress and it was the day of her quinceañera! This guy took advantage of her kindness! $100 for the wrong color and spray painted bouquet of flowers and the guy could care less because my mom is a sweet lady that will not argue! Look at the PINK roses and the sloppy PAINT all over the bouquet and on the ribbon! SHAME ON YOU! BEARS & ROSES!!! Taking advantage of your customers and the horrible customer service! Placed an order online on 8/27 for my wife's birthday 8/28. My Amex was charged and I happened to call today and ask when her flowers where going to be delivered and get a rude employee telling me that my payment hasn't posted and that I need to call the third party. Why should I have to call when my payment WAS posted and I had a confirmation email stating they would be delivered today. Sad customer service. I seriously think that Bears and Roses has the most inexpensive flowers in town. (aside from the alleys in L.A.- but who wants to drive all the way there?) I usually go straight to the cooler and see what's on sale. Their sales seem to be quite reasonable. From there I'll stroll around the store and purchase some sunflowers for my house. If the white gazers are on sale I'll purchase some of those as well. I adore how they smell. Although, I despise stuffed animals their little TY beanie babies are kinda cute and inexpensive. I accidentally discovered this place one time when I forgot to order flowers for Mother's Day, and they were fully stocked and had just what I was looking for. I use to go to this florist in cypress, Cypress Florist or something, but they are so overpriced. The lady is great at arrangements, but it's extremely pricey. I ordered an arrangement through pro flowers once and I got the crappiest set of wilting flowers and I was so upset, I never went back. But this place is great!!! You can pay a fraction of the price for much better flowers. I've been going here for the past 3 years and it never disappoints!
