My friend picked this spot and it's a really good choice overall. It's self seating. That's great because I'm picky about my seating. It's a very narrow restaurant. Very. Narrow. We sat at the front since it allowed us not to be next to the other patrons. Not so sure that was good choice because we were next to the front door. Like, one of the chairs at our table almost blocked the entrance. Literally. There was only one waitress, but she worked fast, very friendly, and attentive. Let's talk about the food. What more could you want from a NJ diner? Great breakfast, great service, and great coffee! Came out of my casino early morning and didn't want to deal with the hustle and bustle, and so decided to grab breakfast in town. Came along Brittany's Cafe and the inside was super quaint and homey, just what I was looking for. Our server greeted us as soon as we walked in and we decided on the window table right in front. I decided on the breakfast quesadilla with bacon and my girlfriend ordered the same, but with ham instead of bacon. Coffee was replenished throughout our meal, which was great that I didn't have to keep asking for it! As for the quesadilla, it was just what the doctor ordered. The flour tortilla was crispy and the eggs, bacon and cheddar cheese was phenomenal. Salsa Verde added some heat to it and the home fries really hit the spot. We were a party of eight as mentioned before that Cafe is not huge, but it does have a lot of space to accommodate small tables and they were still able to accommodate our big party the service was great. We came into Atlantic City for a concert and stayed over night. We googled breakfast places in the area and this place came up. Parking: residential street. Pack patience as it may be hard to find parking. We turned left at the cafe and parked on that street. Atmosphere: diner like inside, very very small inside. We sat at the counter however if you are blessed with a back side, I don't recommend that you sit at the counter because you will get bumped by other patrons as they pass by to get to their seat. I think you will get bumped sitting anywhere due to the size of the cafe. Service: everyone was so nice. The checked on us to make sure we were ok. Food: I had the pancakes, turkey sausage patty and scrambled eggs soft with chees & onions. My eggs were not scrambled and the cheese and onions were laid on the top. The eggs were made like an omelet. All meals came with home fries. The home fries were ok, they were real potatoes! That is rare. Overall the food was ok. I would not wait in a long line to eat here. My boyfriend and I had breakfast at Brittany's Restaurant during our first visit to Atlantic City on Sunday 06/23/24 and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing which is why I am giving this place a 2. I wanted to order the Mexican omelet, but since we don't eat pork, I asked the waitress if the ham could be substituted with turkey. To my surprise, she said there would be a $7 upcharge because, according to her, changing the meat meant it couldn't be called a Mexican omelet anymore. While I agreed to the upcharge, I found this reasoning illogical and offensive. As a Hispanic person, it felt wrong for her to assume that the Mexican omelet must include ham. This stereotype is not only inaccurate but also dismissive of dietary restrictions that many people have, including not eating pork. Additionally, the waitress's attitude was condescending. She repeatedly asked if I was sure about the upcharge, making me feel like she thought I couldn't afford it. All I wanted was a simple substitution, something that is usually easily accommodated at other places without such an exorbitant fee or hassle. Overall, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope the restaurant considers revising their policy and training their staff to be more understanding and accommodating of customer requests, especially when it comes to dietary needs and cultural sensitivities. For reference, our server was an older Caucasian woman who engaged in a lot of small talk. She served us around 11 am on the patio, at the last table for four next to the large private bush to the left as you exit the restaurant. Although she was initially friendly, her demeanor changed when I requested the substitution for the Mexican omelet. Went for an afternoon brunch on a recent memorial day trip to Atlantic City. The staff was very friendly and nice. It felt like such a homely diner. We only got an Coffee, Omlette and a Croissant because we weren't too hungry. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures. We were also able to get parking fairly easily right outside the restaurant. My friends and I decided to stop for breakfast after seeing it had a nice outdoor setting. It was the best breakfast we had all weekend. My friend drop me off while they were looking parking to get a seat. Eleni greeted me once I entered. I told her I was waiting for my friends to find parking. She offered either outdoor or indoor seating. The indoor was quicker so we decided to eat inside. When we were seated I notice the floor was wet and slipper. I notified Eleni about it she got down on the floor and wiped it. To find out at the end she is the owner. What a great way to set a example on leadership. Kosta greeted us at our table very professional and friendly. Dianna our server was also very professional. I ordered Banana pancakes with scrambled eggs with Orange juice. While this Brittany can't call Brittany cafe her favorite, it's still a solid meal worth your breakfast/lunch while. It's a step above the other eateries in Atlantic City, that's for sure. Stopped in for some brunch and did their Greek omelette. They cooked the filling separate from the egg and than stuffed it all inside. Personally, I prefer my omelette fixings be cooked directly into my egg but that's a preference. The plate was generous and didn't skimp on the fillings. I especially enjoyed the roasted potatoes that were included. Crispy and hot and super yum. My dad ordered a stack of pancakes and they were fluffy and pretty much perfect. You know I swooped in for a bite ;-P While I enjoy the food at Brittany, it's a bit cramped if you're eating inside. The tables are so close to one another and space is limited. On a nice day I'd surely choose to sit outside but the heat this week was sweltering. We chose to sit inside on a weekday morning and luckily it wasn't busy. There was one other table being served. For some reason the server insisted that we sit directly next to the other diners. We politely requested a table a bit further so we could be more comfortable. Not a long wait at all, and parking nearby. What else you need? Seriously, slow down so you don't miss this place. Where are you in a rush to anyway? The casino? We first saw this place driving by to pick breakfast up from another restaurant and we saw how cute the outdoor dining was. We decided to check it out the following day. Kosta greeted us at the table and brought us out drinks and flatware and asked how our day was. Was really cool and relaxed. We then notified Eleni the floor was sticky and if someone could Come wipe it up for us. She said no problem and got down and cleaned it up. Unknowingly to us she is the owner! Perfect example of leadership. Dianna G was our server and she came and introduced herself and was very friendly and pleasant. The orders are sold by item. The eggs were fluffy those two eggs definitely appeared to be about 3/4. I had pork sausage Patties and turkey they were both tasty. Was looking for a quick brunch spot in the area on a visit in AC . We were greeted by our server Martha with great customer service she provided us with our menus and gave us time to browse. I ordered two eggs over easy with home fries and turkey sausage the food was great quality for an amazing price. Me and my friend ate for less then $25 !!!
