It is small inside the creamery, but it is a well in, so it was to be expected. There is enough room for ordering and to check out the selection. I didn't feel rushed or cramped. Beaufort Creamery offers locally made ice cream in Downtown Beaufort. They make milkshakes and sundaes too. There are about 24 flavors to chose from and you can combine flavors when you order. I liked that they offered samples as what I thought I'd like I didn't. So this way I ended up with a flavor I'd love. I went with the Reese's after sampling that as I love chocolate and peanut butter. It was so very good. Service was friendly and patient while I decided what to order. The shop is small and doesn't have any seating inside or outside but there are benches on the boardwalk to enjoy your ice cream. read more

The ice cream was ok, but this is the 2nd time I have been in here in the past 3 or 4 months, and this time, I brought out of town guests. Both times, the young, dark-haired young person (female) was downright surly. One time, maybe a bad day. Still no excuse. Today, mean looks, not friendly, didnt answer when spoken to. My sister noticed right away. The other young lady was nice. They close at 5:30, and we came in around 5:20, only ordered ice cream, and were out by 5:30. I will never set foot in here and pay the high prices for so -so ice cream again, let alone bring visitors. I don't mind paying higher prices for great ice cream, especially the few times I let myself indulge, but to get mean looks and act like my guests and I are a nuisance is inexcusable . We had just eaten at Queen Anne's Revenge, and the young college student who waited on us there was the nicest, most helpful young man I had had as a waiter in a long time. He got a nice tip. Beaufort Creamery will never get another penny from me. I wouldn't take ice cream from there if they were giving it away. Please learn some manners, young lady. You are young and could be beautiful if you smiled and had a personality, but you have a lot to learn. read more

My daughter and I both got a small scoop of Lavender and honey. Extremely rich- I could not eat the whole thing. Although I enjoyed it very much, I don't have a gall bladder and I know my limits. This ice cream is the best home made dipped ice cream you can find! I typically don't love natural/homemade dipped ice cream because it has subtle flavors with a big punch of cream, but this was not the case with Beaufort Creamery. The flavors were incredible and the ice cream was still plenty creamy. In fact, it is so creamy, it begins to melt as soon as you walk outside (because it does not have stabilizers... a pro for me!), so maybe ask for a cup with your cone and extra napkins! I tried the chocolate and Oreo and both were amazing; not too sweet and perfectly balanced.
