Posting on here because they're deleting my review elsewhere which is so unfair they should at least stand behind their bad work. I came here because of all the positive reviews. I asked for analee. I got a new set and I showed her a picture. She said yes she could and proceeded to do the most half ass job, when she couldn't force an acrylic nail between my real nail and my acrylic (which I know is a common method but she was rough AF) she proceeded to soak my other hand in acetone and filed it down until my fingernails were on fire but still managed to not get it all off and just put new powder over it. She then did no prep, no cuticle care, nothing. She also did the wrong shade of color and when I told her she said "what do you want me to do it's already on" I told her that it's not what I asked for and she just kept putting on more layers of top coat and glitter until my nails were thick AF. She then had the nerve to ask if I like them. She either really doesn't care about doing a bad job or she is just not good at doing nails. Either way $65 dollars down the drain. I've been going here for awhile now, and just today witnessed racial profiling to not only myself but also another POC during my visit. We were separately accused of being free-loaders and were given poor customer service which was not at all what I expected. If I'm paying $45 for a full set I expect my nails to be how I want them with no issues & if I make a suggestion I expect to have a civil conversation and not be treated differently because a worker may or may-not have had a bad experience with another POC in the past. In return I asked for a refund which they declined (having no paperwork or signage to back it up), but did however offer to fix them. Lou was very aggressive and forward with how she felt, and made me feel very uncomfortable. Easy to say I won't be going back here or suggesting it to anyone. read more

Do not come here for for lashes please! Not worth you $80. On top of start the process late because the lash tech was busy, i asked for natural lashes and thin. Process took less then an hour, and the tech gave me thick lashes. Which was not what I requested. She told she did them just for me ( don't know where she assumed I wanted them). The inner corner of my right eye has a gap And super uneven. The lashes are all one size, they're not a different size to make em look real. Lashes feel So fake and there super heavy in my eyes. I do not recommend this spot at all for lashes. Not only that, the tech didn't even tell me about the care instructions and what to do. The lashes seem like their in bundles, they have much knowledge on the the type of curls, and they weren't willing to see or give advice on what might look best for my eye shape. Not great quality work! I came in about 45 minutes prior to closing a few nights ago. I wanted a dip powder manicure to replace my existing, outgrown manicure. I wanted to just make an appointment for the next morning but the lady insisted that I should stay and have my nails done right then. I thought it was a little late to take in a walk-in so I asked "are you sure?" And she again said "yes, we can do it now". She sat me down next to the client she was finishing up on and set a big bowl of a very strong smelling chemical in front of me and told me "take off your old nails"! I was flabbergasted, I do not work here, I don't know how to properly remove my overlay. I was very angry but since I had already dipped one hand in the bowl I felt obligated to just go ahead and do it. After I removed my own nails she hastily started to dip and set each nail. She did a very rushed job, my nails are uneven and lumpy and it's been only 4 days since I came and my nails are already a HOT MESS. she had to nerve to charge me the full $50! I am so offended and would not recommend that you go here! read more

Lee is SO good! I love the shape and length of my nails, and she did exactly what I asked. The salon offered a fair price and took a reasonable amount of time. I told her my pinky nail was thin and weak and she made sure to be very delicate when she was filing it. Her desk also had a bunch of designs to choose from. She's very talented! It gets a little warm in the salon but they always keep the door propped. This is my first Yelp review and I'm not much of a complainer but this is an act of humanity if I can save another human from the type of experience I encountered. In search for a year overdue pedicure I called here for an appointment on the same day and they had a 3:20 available. Came in a few minutes early and they asked if they could help. Told them I had called and scheduled an appointment and then they didn't respond to me. Okay. Following typical pedicure protocol I went to pick out a color from their (lacking) selection of polish. The first three I choose were empty or dried out. Settled with a polish and stood waiting. A staff then waved me over to a spa chair where I settled in. One star for perfectly warmed water. I remained settled in that chair for thirty minutes waiting for my pedicure to begin. It was 3:50 by the time anyone came to touch my feet. The pedicure itself was mediocre. No hot stones or special attention to foot massage. One star for not hacking the pedicure itself. This may not seem major but it was a total turn off for a social worker who was using this experience as an indulgent act of self care. read more

My family and I are in Portland on vacation and decided to get our nails done and this was the only place within the next couple miles that had time for a walk in... Now I see why. Their color selection was extremely small and most of it was very cheap brands, not to mention customer service definitely left something to be desired. My mothers manicure was done painstakingly slowly and mine was clearly rushed through because the manicurist had an appointment coming up. I asked to have my nails filed square but ended up with all nails rounded, and some much more square than others. The application was extremely clumpy and uneven and I was left with nail polish flooding my cuticles and on the sides of my nails which she tried to clean up... Poorly. Will never go here again! They are not friendly, racist and VERY disrespectful! Especially AnnaLee I would not recommend anyone go here! The owner does not care that her staff are unprofessional and are mistreating customers. The card machine NEVER works and they basically make you take cash out, which includes a fee. I've told her on several occasions that the way she does my nails hurts my natural ones, and she simply doesn't care. DO NOT GO HERE! My nails also break off after 2 weeks.
