    Breakfast biscuit
    Brad G.

What a treat! A co-worker dating someone in Lexington suggested this place. We were in the area and decided to give this place a try. It's not exactly in Lexington... it's more on the outskirts(in my opinion) but it hits extremely hard. They have many things on their menu but I wanted something simple. Breakfast sandwich. I added cheese and ordered an avocado for it too. I should've ordered an extra biscuit. It was light, filling, and equalized me in the most perfect way. My wife ordered the grain bowl and it was so much bigger than we thought it'd be. Plenty for leftovers. If I had any complaints, it'd be that it is a smaller place. Let me rephrase... not so much small but it is busy and cramped. They could easily expand to another location or larger location. We will definitely visit this place again. All the food was perfect!

    Dutch baby

Decided to try something new: Dutch baby! The popover has an incredible blackberry sauce, but if you're not a sweet person, you should definitely get it on the side. It really is an excellent dish! Try it now. As always the serving and space are impeccable. So grateful for Beau's!

Hot Honey Fried Chicken & Buttermilk Pancakes

I went for brunch not expecting to be amazed by the best pancake I've ever had. After seeing so many people order it, we decided to get one and share itv(it was more than enough for two). Thick, fluffy and delicious. I've never had anything like it. In addition to the most amazing pancake, I had a chicken sandwich and side salad. I ordered margarita that was not very good in comparison with the rest of the meal. Next time, I'll just skip the cocktail. Otherwise, it was a great dining experience.

    Burrito Buttermilk Pancakes

Had a great experience at Beaus. I ordered the buttermilk pancake, and it was honestly one of the best pancakes I've ever had. It was perfectly balanced, and that subtle hint of orange zest really took it over the top. I also had the burrito alongside the pancake, which was a solid choice. The sausage inside was especially flavorful -- it tasted fresh, like a quality market-style sausage, and really stood out. The space is small but comfortable, and the service was great. Overall, I was very happy with my visit and would definitely return for more. -Mr.

I have read and heard so many good comments about this place I finally tried it and I certainly was NOT disappointed. I was a little apprehensive looking at the menu. It is unique and a relatively limited menu for breakfast/brunch. I ordered the Hot Jam Chicken (I believe it's their signature dish) and it was incredible!! I could get that every weekend and be very happy. The chicken is battered in some delicious and crispy crust! It is so delicious and I can't wait to have it again!!

    Avocado Toast, Buttermilk Pancakes

Loved this spot for breakfast. I ordered the avocado toast with an over easy egg and it was cooked perfectly. The toast was so good and I loved the fresh greens on top. We also tried the famous pancake and now I get why it's so popular. It was super fluffy and the syrup was amazing. One of the best pancakes I've had. The service was great too. Our server was attentive and you could tell he was really passionate about the place. It was calm, clean, and not hectic at all which made it a perfect spot to relax and catch up with friends. I would definitely recommend it for breakfast or brunch. I also heard they will be opening for dinner soon which is exciting for anyone who can't make it in early.

    French omelette and pancake

Pretty sure this is the best breakfast place in Lexington. 1 inch thick pancake with maple syrup and their own brown butter. Pancake texture is just right. The French omelette is very creamy. They seems to be doing everything right. Price is very reasonable too with quality ingredients

Went for brunch at Beau's Cafe this morning and I am quite impressed. This place is quaint and modern. As soon as you walk in it's like boom....hostess station. We were met with the friendliest staff. It was just a couple minutes and we were served hot steaming coffee which was amazing. They have a wide variety of breakfast brunch food to satisfy the sweet or savory foodie. I chose the French Omelet with greens and my companion chose the breakfast burrito. The waitress did ask if I had ever had a French omelette before which I had not, she said it was like soft, soft scrambled eggs. She was spot on because that's exactly what it was like and it was delicious. The greens were crisp and lightly dressed, which was a perfect accompaniment to the smooth and flavorful omelette. I didn't try the breakfast burrito, but it looked quite tasty. The servings are quite large. We both ended up taking to go containers. I would definitely visit this place again because I did see the Dutch baby and the pancakes go to another table and my mouth was watering.

    Pancake, breakfast burrito, breakfast potatoes

The pancake!!! Truly an experience everyone should try. The flavor is amazing with bourbon maple and orange. Thick and fluffy. Probably the best breakfast burrito I've had. Breakfast potatoes were good but not like the other items.

Such a cute place for breakfast or brunch! The entire restaurant is well themed. My pancakes were very sweet and had zesty orange -- I almost needed every other bite to be savory and I wish I knew that prior to ordering. They're huge! My partners chicken sandwich was also well rounded. The chili crunch was more of a dry crunch rather than an oil chili crunch. The food took a while to come out but I didn't mind since the quality was there. Service was great I didn't feel rushed or too checked in on. I will be coming back and would recommend for breakfast/brunch.

    Caramel latte and bourbon latte

This is the best place I have eaten at in a LONG time! We were in town visiting a friend and decided to make a drive over this way before heading home. Everything was perfect. There was no wait. Our server, Grant, was very friendly and attentive. Grant mentioned this place tries to get everything they serve locally, which is awesome! The coffee was delicious. My husband got coffee with bourbon cream, he really enjoyed it. Everything we ordered was crispy. My husband's burrito had a nice crisp crunch to the tortilla with a lot of avocado, not skimpy! The green sauce on the side was flavorful. The pancake was cooked with a perfect crispy crunch with each bite you take. I read other comments saying there was an orange taste but we tasted lemon! The hot biscuit was also delectable with the salad on the side that had a wonderful dressing on it. Lastly, the cheesy potato was the best hash brown we have tried. If we lived locally we would come to this place all the time!

I enjoy this brunch spot! however I wish they had more coffee options. I also think it's a little pricey for brunch but their portions are large and the food is delicious!

    Burrito! Fantastic! Great flavors!!
    Matthew B.

OMG! Stopped in while running a few errands! We shared the Burrito, fantastic blend of flavors, will definitely get again. We each had a Dutch Baby & it was phenomenal!! They were very busy & still very accommodating & fast. The atmosphere was nice as well. Well lit, not too loud, pretty well spaced out.

For our appetizer, we had the beef tartare, it was also just okay. We didn't even finish half of it. The star of the dish was the rye crisp, unfortunately. For our entree we had the baked rigatoni and the pork tenderloin. The pork tenderloin dish was delicious and so was the rigatoni. That was a plus. It was extremely loud in the restaurant. Be prepared to yell at your table partner. Between the amount of people talking loudly (I assume to attempt to talk over the loud music) and the music, and being seated really near other people, having a conversation was difficult. So don't go with anyone who is hard of hearing with background noise (my husband lol). Food took a little longer than what I'd prefer to come out. The restaurant itself had a great vibe and decorations were cute.

We loved this adorable little biscuit breakfast spot!! :)…read more We spent a weekend away in Nashville but came back through Lexington to visit a couple of distilleries as we made our way back North. Nashville really turned us on to the biscuit breakfast so when we saw that Lexington had some choices we knew we had to try! We stopped into Biscuit Belly on a recent Wednesday morning on our way out of town and were greeted with the nicest staff, waiting to take our order. We had a few questions and the man at the register was super knowledgeable and extra kind!! When we stop into a new place, my husband and I enjoy ordering a couple of different options and sharing so we can both try more things in one visit! :) The biscuit belly choices made this difficult, so many items look amazing!! My husband ordered the Mama's boy and I ordered the Fire in your Belly! Both of the sandwiches were delicious! The Mama's boy had the most tasty jalapeño pimento cheese and the perfect accompaniment, a fried green tomato on top!! This was a great combo! The Fire in your belly felt like a more simple sandwich, with less on it, but the flavors went so well together, it ended up being our favorite!! The cheddar cheese really brought everything together so nicely!! Both also came with delicious pickles which doesn't sound like it fits into a breakfast entree, but it truly did!!! :) We enjoyed both the loaded tots and cheesy grits on the side! If you get a chance to stop into a Biscuit Belly sometime, I would definitely make your move!! ;) We don't have places like this up North and that's a sad, sad thing!!
