I've had a facial by Vanny twice now and am still amazed by how much time and effort she puts into it, especially the extractions. I've been to places that spend no more than 3-4 minutes on extractions, but you can tell Vanny takes her time! My skin was going through a rough breakout period and I swear she saved my skin with just the two sessions I've been to with her. I've been going to Vanny for a couple of months now and my skin has improved immensely! I was having trouble with hormonal acne around my mouth area and Vanny was able to clear the area up within 2 sessions. The facials she gives are not only effective, but super relaxing. When I was looking for an esthetician in Costa Mesa, I was impressed with the high rating Vanny has for her services. When I called and described my ongoing battle with adult acne and overall inflammation, she booked an assessment for fifteen minutes, free of charge, to go over what I was doing wrong and right with my skin. She recommended a line of products that has drastically helped with the constant redness and has taken care of all the whiteheads I have as long as I'm consistent. She told me what vitamins to take, what to eat, and extra advice that has helped me dramatically with the condition of my skin and I am grateful for that. I don't know of any esthetician that would be willing to meet with me about this before I even booked an appointment. If only every esthetician did this, then there would be less heartache and confusion after the initial service. She provides an excellent ambiance in her facility, coupled with relaxing music and an impressive level of cleanliness inside the rooms. Every time I go, she gives me a personalized experience with different techniques depending on the condition of my skin from the last time I saw her. I have seen many estheticians that do the same routine every time I come in and would not be surprised if they use the same regimen with other clients. She provides a relaxing massage and warming gloves for your hands, which felt different at first, but now I think I look forward to them when I come in. Amazed! I am amazed by what Vanny can do for someone with my type of skin. I have severe facial eczema...which means it's basically super- sensitive (even water can irritate!), dry, and inflamed. I was referred by my co-worker, also previous reviewer of Vanny. She said that she got nothing but raves about her skin after going to Vanny for a facial, so I finally gave in and treated myself. I arrived at the office, clean and calming, and was wisked away by Vanny to her facial room. There was peaceful music playing and mood lighting that was starting to already relax me. I put the wrap on and after that all I really remember is feeling completely relaxed and pampered. She massaged my arms and hands, massaged my scalp (my fave), and made my skin feel so moisturized and young. I have issues with dry spots on my face and Vanny instructed me that for one .. drinking water is important, and two, that you need a good moisturizer. She also recommended a microdermabraision the next visit, which I look forward to. I didn't see results as fast as my co-worker, but now, a few days later I am seeing a difference in my face. As I relaxed and enjoyed the soft soothing music Vanny massaged my scalp and back and hands. I have been coming to Vanny for my facial for the last few years. I'm an internal medicine physician and I recognize that Vanny not only gives exceptional service she is also very knowledgeable about skin conditions. She noticed the very subtle allergy on my facial skin and the tiny razor shave rash. I was very impressed when she told me about that. She advised me to use electric shaver when I have the rash and go back to the razor with shaving cream for a closer shave when the rash go away. She uses organic products which is very important.
