Surprised to see such negative reviews. I came in for a nail repair and Mimi was the sweetest and very accommodating. In town for 2 nights and walked in after being turned away from somewhere else. She took me right away, fixed my nail and repainted them. I would come back if I was ever in town again. read more

Although I had seen the mixed reviews on yelp, I thought I would give this place a shot seeing as how I had a limited amount of time on my hands. Contrary to other reviews, I thought the service was very good. I called about 10 minutes prior to see if I could walk in and get a manicure and pedicure and the person on the phone said yes. I came in and explained that I had called a few minutes ago and the woman told me to pick my color. Both my nails and toes looked very nice and I will definitely be coming here again! I would give this business 4 stars for the work on my nails and toes and an extra star for taking me in on short notice. read more

My experience at Beautiful Nails was really good, to be honest. I went to the other nail salons in Sonoma and they don't seem to be as appealing. One of the workers at the Beautiful Nails told me that they recently changed the placement of everything and it looks very clean and organized. They now have more, brand new, neater spa chairs that are great and they also do waxing in a private room that is neat and clean as well. I think the best things about this nail salon is that it's well priced, lots of parking in the back, and also is close to the square. Easy access. And the staff is very nice too! read more

The woman working on my nails did a HORRIBLE job. I actually had to file them myself as I don't know if she had bad eyesight or what, but my nails were jagged. The woman who did my toenails cut them unevenly which I didn't realize until I was leaving because of how bad my manicure looked. read more

I would never normally leave a bad review but...this is the worst gel mani I have EVER had. The polish is uneven, my nails aren't filed smooth. Polish all over my fingers, not just my nails. When I asked the girl if she was going to get the polish off my fingers she just basically ignored me. I don't mind paying $35 for a gel mani but not like this. I wanted to like this place as it was nice & the woman who did my nails was very friendly. But it was the worst manicure/pedicure I've had. $50 later after tip and a few of my nails are missing paint on them & they did not do a good job of cleaning up my cuticles either. read more

Beautiful Nails is a very good Nail Salon... They know what a proper manicure means...they do it right...including problem nails... They are clean. The floor is clean, the bathroom is clean and the staff of 3 are polite, considerate and well groomed. No blaring T.V. The price in Summer 2010 is about $39.00 for a quality manicure and pedicure. The staff at Beautiful Nails have consistently provided high quality pedicures and manicures, at a better price and experience that I have had at some of the "higher end" spa salons in town. I moved to Sonoma and finally found a great nail salon. Tried a few other salons in town but Beautiful Nails is far the best. They spend the time to do a good job and are very personable. No stars! Our family was in town for my daughter's wedding and her sisters were in need of manis and pedis, so I saw some good reviews on yelp and made an appointment. One daughter got an okay mani/pedi but if you arrive and the gentleman is to do your nails, run! He cut my daughters nails down to the quick after she said don't cut and it was painful to touch them and the nail polish was all over the place. My teen daughter went to this salon to get acrylic nails, and this was the WORST place EVER. They did the most horrible nail job I've ever seen. Not only were the nails horribly done, the paint was awful, and the noxious smell caused my daughter to have a migraine. I went back in with my daughter to let them know and show them the work that was not good, and the woman and man who run the place were RUDE, Indignant, said they would repaint them or redo the work, and took my daughters hand and said they looked fine. I explained that my daughter spent her hard earned money to have her nails done and at this point she wanted to go somewhere else. I asked politely for her money back, and they told me NO. They basically said they spent the 1 hour doing the work and that was too bad, no refund. I explained to them that this was not a way to do business, and that they should have better customer service. Not a SINGLE soul was in their salon today, and the 3 people (owners/worker) sat there and said they didn't care, they would not refund my daughters money. What a terrible terrible bunch of people, ripping off teenagers. Not Cool! read more
