I'm very happy with their availability and ability to see me quickly. Being open on some Saturdays is a big plus in my book! The packages are sold as sets of six sessions and I ended up adding a couple more sessions. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the first woman I worked with made the experience a bit awkward, but she left the practice. After months of searching for a laser hair removal business, with good prices, AND good reviews, I finally found Beautiful You and I am so happy that I did!! They often have very good deals on their facebook page, email or Groupon. I signed up for the Brazilian Bikini package, paid with Paypal and scheduled my first appointment with their easy-to-use online scheduler. My first appointment (and first ever laser hair removal treatment) was a breeze! It took about 15 minutes, involved very little discomfort (ie, no pain), and was very professional. Everyone in the office is so nice and helpful. They make you feel very comfortable and they actually start their appointments on time (strange, I know!!). After my first treatment, it took about 20 days for me to notice any hair loss, but after day 20, I noticed hair falling out all over the place! I quickly signed up for the underarm package, and, on my second appointment I got that one done too. All of the employees that I've encountered have been so helpful, friendly and professional. My biggest problem with groupon is that most businesses turn to groupon bc they don't have clients bc their services are lacking, and then when groupon customers come in, they act rude and annoyed at you for being there. HOWEVER! That is not at all the case here. Beautiful You obviously just uses groupon because their business is wayyyy out in Ashland. But, it's worth the drive. They have great deals (get on their email list!!) and they don't make you feel like less of a customer because you bought a special. They are nice and do good work. I continue to buy packages through them. I've had laser at a bunch of different places (I've moved around a lot--first started getting last about eight years ago while living in NYC), so I'm pretty experienced and am pleased with everything here. Beautiful You's lasers DO NOT WORK. After multiple visits for laser hair removal between my eyebrows and on my toes, I saw ZERO reduction in hair growth. I have had laser hair removal from another spa in another state on my bikini and underarms. That removal was ENTIRELY successful, so I know it is not a case where my hair simply doesn't respond to laser treatment. (I have pale skin and dark hair, the perfect combination for laser hair removal.) And, during the course of my previous treatment, I saw immediate reduction in hair growth after the FIRST visit. Their lasers hurt, too, so I knew they were working. Beautiful You's lasers don't hurt at all, and that is because they do not work. Let me re-emphasize, I saw ZERO reduction in hair growth after four visits. Don't waste your time or money. read more

However, after paying about $500 for both the bikini and underarm package, and ten or so trips up to Ashland, I have the same amount of hair I had before. I did everything I was told to do, and I have pale skin and dark pubic and underarm hair. It turned out to be a giant disappointment. Now I know they say that it doesn't work on everyone but I have used another groupon at HW medspa and the hair never grew back on my Brazilian. I purchased a Groupon for 6 sessions of brazilian laser hair removal treatments at Beautiful You. The price was reasonable so I thought why not since I have always wanted to get rid of my unwanted hair for good. I have light skin and very dark hair so I thought I would make a perfect candidate for a successful treatment. The sessions were painless and I noticed hair falling out a week after my first session. By my fourth session I had almost no hair growth down there and I was so happy to see such great results. However, to make a long story short, 1 month after my last session ALL of my thick, dark hair was back. It was like I never got the treatment done. This all happened summer 2013. I am writing this review one year later. I am now sticking to waxing until I can afford a more effective laser treatment. I should also mention that I was so happy with my results in the beginning that I even bought a package for my underarms. If only I had known! So all in all I would not recommend Beautiful You to anyone who wants to get laser hair removal. It was a complete waste of my time and money. The ladies who work there are very nice and the environment is quiet and relaxing, but I feel like they are ripping people off. Their machines are not very effective for long term results. I bought a Groupon for the laser hair removal. I've waxed for years so the hair was thin and I should've seen significant results after 6 sessions. I didn't see results and was stupid enough to buy six more sessions. After 12 sessions total, I have just as much hair as when I started. I think the problem was that they didn't turn the machine up to really zap the hairs. It's a scheme to get you to buy more sessions maybe. It should sting a little and be uncomfortable but they never turned it up high enough to feel uncomfortable. They tried to blame it on the "coarse" hair but my hair was not coarse by any means because I had been waxing for so long. Don't fall for this place. It's a scam! read more

I am really disappointed!! I purchased a brazilian package (6 sittings) and thought what a great deal i got. I was assured that i will see a sea change after the treatment. A few days after my first sitting, i started noticing the change. but that was it. After my 6 sittings were over, ALL the hair grew back just after 2 months!! I went back complaining to the owner but she then tells me that it is only a laser hair reduction and not exactly "hair removal". Initially what i had thought to be a great deal now seems to be a rip off!! I got done 4 more sittings from her as she told me that you would need atleast ten for a good result.. but even after my ten sittings i feel like have just wasted my money! One of my friends who also went to her had the same experience. No more wasting money on this for sure.
