I called her personally and she took to time to answer all of my many questions. Liraz is excellent when it comes to giving you the best brows. Her salon is very clean and professional. I must admit after my first session I was a little concern. Lee ask me to send her photos every day. She assured me that she would do whatever it took to give me beautiful brows. The second day was a miracle, I actually had eyebrows that I didn't have to draw on for the first time. Just completed by 8 week follow-up and they are simply beautiful and so natural looking. Liraz has a wonderful personality and really took the time to explain the microblading process. That being said, she did not listen to what I requested the first session. She corrected some of my critiques the second session, but not all. After cleaning up the dye and showing me the results, I pointed out 2 specific areas that were missed and bald' and she politely declined to add a few extra strokes; though she said I could come back for an additional session and pay $175 (if she listened to me the first out second time, I wouldn't need to go back). read more

I researched microbladding for a few months, and sent my mom to someone last year to test out the process. Her brows looked great, so I wanted to give it a try as well. I needed someone in Chicago, who had great reviews, and who was responsive to all my questions. My eyebrows had a general shape, but I wanted them to be filled in and a little thicker. Nothing drastic, I wanted them to look natural and I wanted to simplify my morning routine. I met Liraz last November and went again last week for my second follow up. I am so happy with the work that she did. My eyebrows looked amazing. After healing I saw that the change was subtle, fit my face perfectly and most importantly I am 100% satisfied with the final results. The whole process has been a breeze. Liraz answered all my questions, took her time, made me feel comfortable, and produced great results. Her work space is safe, clean and sterile. She follows a strict procedure as a trained licensed professional, and that is very important when seeking cosmetics tattooing services. I wouldn't trust my future brows to anyone but Liraz. FYI: The brows look darker the first day or two, so if you're like me- that could be a little shock since my brows were sparse to begin with. If needed, take a day or two to relax at home and get used to your new banging brows, lol. After a few days, you'll be comfortable with the new shape and all of their awesomeness. She was completely flexible working with me to put together the look I was going for (subtle, natural and polished). I have been researching and looking at photos of microbladed eyebrows for awhile now. I have very thin/sparse and light colored eyebrows and wanted a natural looking brow, which made finding the right mircroblading artist a challenge. I just wanted to see natural looking eyebrows on my face when I woke up in the morning instead of having to draw them on and fill them in (I could never make them look right anyway). I just finished my follow up session with Lee and am happy to have beautiful eyebrows! They look great and I am excited for the final healing phase to end so I can enjoy my finished brows. There are many great things about Lee, but first and foremost is that she is very detailed, thorough and patient. I had a detailed phone conversation with her before I even booked my appointment as I had questions about the process and my skin (sensitive and oily - which can pose a challenge with retaining pigment). She also spent a lot of time at my first appointment asking me questions about my ideal outcome, drawing the shape of my brows and explaining the best way to take care of them and guidelines I should follow to give my oily skin the best chance at retaining pigment. She explained every step of the process as she went along and made sure that I was comfortable with the shape and pigment color as well as my pain tolerance level. I have very, very sensitive skin also so she liberally applied and reapplied the numbing cream throughout to help me remain comfortable during the procedure. Yes the initial prepping stage (sometimes called 'picking the skin' I think) was super uncomfortable for me but that is a pretty short process and she took little 3 second breathers during it so I could gather my wits about me :). After that, the numbing agent is applied and is reapplied between each stage to help make the process much more bearable. True to all of the research I have done, my sessions lasted 2 hours (which is approximately how long they should last) and she does not rush anything to make sure your eyebrows are meticulous and look great. I highly recommend giving Lee a call or connecting with her if you are thinking of having your eyebrows microbladed, she is wonderful! read more

I hired Beauty in Colors to do the makeup for my wedding in February 2013. I set it all up with Lee (her parter is Li) via email. She always responded within 24 hours, was very professional, and worked with me to get a package that worked for my budget. I did a makeup trial with Lee and was very happy with the results. She was very flexible and very easy to get along with. On the wedding day they arrived exactly on time. Their kit has everything they could possibly need. They take great care to sanitize the products between each use, or they use a small amount of product off a mirror with a new clean brush for each client. They managed to do beautiful, individualized makeup on an array of skin types, complexions and ages. There was no rush with their work, and they stayed until right before the pictures started to do any touch-ups that were needed. My makeup (including lipstick) stayed in place the entire night.
