It's been 5 years since I first got my eyeliner done (both top and bottom) with Elsa, and it still looks as good as when I first got them done! I've wanted this for a long time but hesitated because I was worried about possible long-term discoloration. I kept doing a lot of research and wasn't in a rush to get it done until I felt like I found the right person I could trust. ELSA IS THAT PERSON. While we can't always know how our bodies will react to new procedures, her extensive knowledge and experience will highly increase the chance of great long-term results. If on the small chance that the outcome is not what you expected, Elsa will do her best to correct it without compromising the results. I had my eyebrows done last year. I am happy that they look better ( more full) but I had decent eyebrows to begin with . I told her I wanted hair like strokes to keep it realistic, not a solid block of color. I did get a solid block of color unfortunately. The first month while healing they looked alright but now people can see I have had them microbladed (people ask me when they see me outside because of the technique) and there is a purple/blue hue :( read more

I had an appointment with Elsa for permanent eyeliner. After spending a great deal of time explaining the procedure, answering questions and addressing my concerns, Elsa was finally ready to begin. Suddenly she noticed what looked like a shadow on my eyelid. She showed me a picture and asked what I thought it was, and I said it may be my eyelash serum. Elsa politely explained the complications that could arise from continuing and showed me the question I missed on her form that asked if I used serum. At that point it was obvious we had to stop and reschedule. Rather than make me feel like an idiot for wasting her time and being so careless, Elsa was kind and understanding. She spotted a possible problem even when I failed to inform her, and she rescheduled with no judgement. I am embarrassed by my stupidity, but more grateful that I found such a gracious professional. I will post another review after my appointment in March, but Elsa deserves 5 stars for the professional way she handled a very uncomfortable situation. read more

My appointment was with Elsa and what a delight that was. I didn't feel rushed and a full explanation of what I was to expect was comforting. Elsa is such a calming soul and she really takes you into consideration. Elsa has a lot of training and you can tell by the way she talks with you and not at you. She is very confident in what she does. All her reception staff are very welcoming and if they cannot provide you with an answer to a question they will certainly seek it out. First, to say this woman is an artist is an understatement! She is a master of her craft. After 1.5 years with no prior touchup on my previous micro-blading she suggested a powder brow. I deal with trichotillomania (pulling out brows and lashes) so I combat patchy brows hence the microblading. If you are nervous about tattoo eyeliner, Elsa is the perfect person to see! She starts out with the first session being subtle- but noticeable enough at the same time. (Unless you want something bold right from the start.) For my follow up visit, I wanted to do more, but I liked that we eased into the process. I ended up going in for a 3rd appointment, Bc I felt confident going with more of a subtle smokey liner- but this appointment was just by choice! The first 2 appointments were exactly what I asked for! Elsa's numbing cream is also the best- which is definitely important when you're having a procedure done on your eyes - it's frightening enough, so having a numbing cream that actually works is key. I've had stretch marks on my hips and buttocks that I was self conscious about. I heard about the camouflage technique on scars and couldn't really find anyone in LA who had experience with strechmarks. So I flew to Chicago to meet her! She told me I may need two sessions.
