I went in on a Saturday to make my appointment specifically with Odilia for the following Wednesday. Fortunately, I was able to briefly speak with her to discuss what I wanted - highlights [3 colours] and a good haircut; she told me her prices for each and, being in line with what I've paid in the past, solidified the appointment. I arrived at 11:30 am. We took a few minutes to discuss what I wanted, both in colour and cut. I repeated that I wanted highlights and that I usually have three colours used; I showed her two different pictures of my own hair colour for reference. Odilia commented, "You really like your golden blonde." (see profile photo) Was told that I would be out of there in "three hours, tops" (sounds about right - I have lot of hair). Odilia comes out with two tubs of colour - a highlight and a lowlight. I never asked for a lowlight, but this is not my profession and maybe she sees something I don't. This was a very slow process. Literally. I have never in my life had the back of my hair finish processing and be rinsed before the rest of my hair is processed under a dryer. When the colouring is complete, there is cutting. A lot of cutting. More cutting than I requested, but my hair grows fast and it's really not a big deal. And, in all honesty, it is a good healthy cut. FIVE HOURS + LATER (yes, you read that correctly) and nearly $400 lighter - I walk out with taupe / light brown hair. Not even close to what I asked for when I walked in. And I was charged for lowlights, something I never requested. Salon lighting is always different than home lighting, so I thought maybe it wasn't really as dark as it appeared. Nope, it was. I immediately called the salon and spoke with Odilia, explaining that nobody's happy and this isn't going to work. Giving credit where credit is due - she offered to correct it immediately, but my time constraints did not allow for me to return for two weeks. During this time, girlfriends said the colour was beautiful (honestly, it was)...but definitely not "my" colour. While many of you may have had, or continue to have, a positive experience at this salon - I did not.

Three years of loyalty and three referrals (my BFF, my daughter-in-law, my sister). Apparently none…read moreof that mattered the one and only time I've ever missed an appointment without calling, the only one, ever, since I've been getting my hair done. I totaled my car in a snowstorm outside Boston at the start of March, an accident, not a choice, not something I scheduled around a hair appointment for fun. While I was busy figuring out how to get to a meeting in Minneapolis and my car 3,000 miles home, a hair appointment didn't fit into that equation on any level. I didn't get my usual reminder text before the appointment, like I always do so that at least I would've had a reminder to let them know what happened to me. I did get a voicemail DAY OF, half of which transcribed before cutting off, a name I didn't recognize, sounding exactly like the other 100 spam calls I get daily. I ignored it. Forgive me for not intuiting that it was salon-related while dealing with a totaled car in another state. When I finally went back in, I apologized, showed them photos of my car wrecked in snow, taken just days before the missed appointmen and still got handed a $98 cancellation FEE for an accident I didn't cause and couldn't have predicted. A lifetime of getting my hair done, never once missing an appointment without calling until that day, this was a first. Fine. I paid it anyway. I just wanted my hair done.Then my stylist informed me my red needed " to be evened out." My hair was the same red it had always been, I have the photos. She did my hair less than a couple of months before this, the color I came in with that I liked. The ONLY instruction I gave was no brown. I left brown. Full brown, gray showing through, at closing time, with Casey telling me she would fix it.The blowout was its own insult. I started paying $15 extra for flat-iron because I travel and needed it to last, not because the blowout itself was ever the problem. I have years of photos proving she could do a smooth blowout with zero flat iron involved. This time, paying extra for the upgrade, I got a blowout that didn't survive three hours, it was a frizz bomb. From the time I started using the flat iron to make my blowout last for work is the time she forgot how to do blowouts. Checkout was $358, about $150 over my normal total, because the $98 fee got folded silently into the bill, and I tipped on the entire thing without realizing it. Let me be very clear: I will tip generously on service. I will not, ever, knowingly tip on a FEE charged to me because of a car accident that wasn't my fault. There was no service in that FEE. There was no styling, no skill, no time in the chair, just a charge for missing an appointment I forgot about while dealing with a totaled vehicle 3,000 miles from home. When I called to ask for that specific gratuity be refunded, not the fee, just the tip stacked on top of it, I was told the stylist "gets the fee and the tip," like I was trying to take money out of her pocket. I wasn't. I was correcting an honest mistake on a bill I wasn't paying close attention to after a stressful, exhausting day. Their response was to call back and inform me they no longer wanted me as a customer. When I texted asking if my color could at least be corrected, I was met with silence. My hair is brown at this very minute trying to figure out how to come up with $200 more to fix the problem they created.And then my sister went in. I didn't warn her off, she'd had a hard time finding a stylist and didn't want to lose her appointment, and that's her call to make. Casey, the stylist, told her that her hair was greasy, hair that is dry, porous, and curly, and has never been oily a minute in its life. Along the way, the stylist told her she needed to brush her hair, as if she just rolled out of bed and came into the salon. It didn't need to be brushed, her hair is DRY, PORUS and CURLY, not unbrushed. Proceeding to her own color, my sister tried to explain what she actually wanted, light brown hair but while reiterating that to make sure it was done, Casey sneered, 'Is this going to be a Nickolle thing?' Keep my name out of your mouth. You don't get to talk about me like that while taking $400 from my sister. ANYWAY. The result: my sister wanted lighter. She left darker, with at least three colors woven in including the purple she specifically paid to have removed, and gray still very much present and accounted for. $400, and somehow the hair went the opposite direction of every single thing she asked for. They offered to let her come back in and put a small amount of highlights. As if, she's not letting anybody from that salon touch her hair ever again. Free or not. No thanks.Two appointments, two completely botched results, and a staff that responds to legitimate complaints by firing the customer instead of fixing the work. Disgusting.

This past Wednesday however, I went in for a full babylight and in discussing what I was hoping for I said: super bright, platinum, not warm, "I hate a yellow blonde", "just like last time", and "I can't wait to be platinum again." She asked if I wanted to keep dimension (like last time) because the grow out looked really natural, I said yes. Note, I previously had extensions and was getting partial babylight services because the extensions really brightened the bottom. I was excited to really lighten underneath, and wanted that same bright platinum color. After all of the foils were in, I sat for just 7 minutes before she washed me. I typically sit for 30. As she was washing I said "oh those must have came up really quick" to which she replied "yes because I increased the lightener in the top foils." As she was blow drying, I knew it just wasn't what I had been hoping for. I said in the chair - "I just don't love it, I still reel really dark." She responded, "it's literally bright." That made me question myself, and it didn't create a space where we could talk about how to get my hair to a place where I was confident in the result. She finished, I paid, and then proceeded to cry in the car. After sleeping on it and trying to love it, I couldn't justify spending $500 without speaking up for myself. I texted Chloe (screenshots attached), and her response made me feel gaslit. Yes, we talked dimension, in the same token we also talked platinum and the same brightness as previous visits. Yes, the back was grown out, I should have sat in the foils for longer than 7 minutes. She asked me to call Gabby, the manager. I called, and Gabby could not have been more rude or unprofessional. She told me I could come back in for a paid service because "I already got the service I paid for and Chloe would need an assistant." The website states, adjustments can be made complimentary within 7 days of service. I was told she was booked out for two weeks and there was no availability. I asked if this could be escalated to the owner, Jamie, and she said yes. She requested photos, I sent them (also attached). That was Thursday afternoon, less than 24 hours after the service, it is now Saturday night and they have yet to respond. I called the salon several times today, and it was forwarded to voicemail. So, I drove to the salon where Chloe O. told me she would ask Gabby and/or Jamie to call me back because neither were in. Fast forward, it is 11PM Saturday and I haven't heard a word. I have been so polite and kind in all my conversations, and just wanted to feel happy with my hair - which Chloe L is super capable of, because she has done my hair phenomenally in the past. I am incredibly disappointed at the lack of professionalism, consideration and understanding particularly from a management and ownership perspective. I understand this is a small business, but a client service mindset is so important. I am not one to write a review, but I am so upset and feel like I wasted a significant amount of time, money and tears over this situation.

Just want to take a minute and brag on my girl Nacole. I've been seeing Nacole for almost a year…read morenow. And even though she's new to THIS salon, I'd follow her no matter where she went because she is just THAT good. She takes her time and is a perfectionist, which I can admire because I pretty much am too. When I met her almost a year ago, I was enquiring about extensions. I've never had them before, and I was super nervous because I have very thin, fine, mature hair. She quickly put my mind at ease and let me know that with proper care, my hair would end up looking better than it did before I got my extensions. It's hard to believe right. Well, I'm here to tell you, she was 100% right. She's also available if you ever have any questions or concerns about your hair after your appointment. I not only recommend her, I 1000% recommend her. Her "chair side" manner is also top-notch! She's the only one that I trust with my hair now. The transformation that she has been able to achieve is unbelievable. If you're looking for a new hairdresser... give her a shot, you won't regret it at all.

Disclaimer: I have waited nearly a month to write this review as I did not want it to be written…read moresolely based on emotions. On September 10th l visited the salon with an idea and pictures of what I was hoping to have done. After a about a minute consultation my stylist told me she wasn't sure she would be able to complete what I was asking for in the time I scheduled (since I choose the wrong type of booking) but that she would check her schedule, confirm a price and let me know. After a few minutes she came back, showed me the price and was ready to get started. I was a bit shocked and asked "are you sure you have the time for this?" she assured me she did and that she would make it work. The total cost included cut and style after all the coloring was complete. I showed my stylist some very vivid color pics with bright bright colors and all I requested was that the color start bright as I know these types of colors fade and usually fade quickly. After about 5 hours, we were nearly done. I was SOOO excited to see the finished product only to be 100% bummed. The vivid/bright colors were barely noticeable, I had dye all over my forehead, scalp, ears, skin, etc. and just was not happy with how any of it looked. My stylist assured me after curling(???) my hair, I would be able to see the color and LOVE it. The curling did not do anything other than waste another half hour or so. After that was done, she attempted to gaslight me in to being happy with how the color job looked and finally gave in stating she would add in some POPs of color to help with the flatness she now admitted my hair had. Another couple of hours passed and my hair still looked the same, barely noticeable color for over $500. I went ahead and paid, tipped (fairly I might add) and left, because at this point I had been there for about 7 hours and I was done. I walked out of the salon, with my hair not even styled and ready to hide it vs. show it off... I had dye all over and had to spend time and more money later to remove it from my skin. It looked like my young daughter helped me dye my hair in the bathroom at home. But, this is where the real fun starts, my husband decided to call and speak with the owner of the salon as the salon is listed as top tier and he knew I was not happy with the service. After speaking with the salon manager multiple times, she continued to ignore the fact that issues occurred, instead decided to bash my friend and I for making THEM feel uncomfortable AND refused to let him speak with the owner. I did not want to write a public review and wish we could have handled this privately, but since I see the owner replying to other reviews... this seems to be the only way to get a response. The service overall at the salon was subpar, along with the way I was treated during and after the service. It took nearly 2 weeks to remove all the dye from my scalp, neck and ears... I won't even mention my hands. I would 100% never recommend this salon to friends or family and hope to never go back. Reply: Never at any point did we say or text anything about the salon or stylist. We were documenting my hair transformation. The stylist also did not explain that vivid's are not low maintenance or that I would need multiple sessions to achieve the level of brightness we discussed. She assured me that balayage was the was the way to go and I would get the outcome we discussed. Balayage was her idea. We also definitely did bleach my hair. This is the communication that could have helped me set expectations or make a different decision. But you're right, I should be thankful that I got a burger when I ordered and paid for a steak... because the burger is still great. I am experienced in vivid's and personally dye my daughter's hair which I also showed her as an example for brightness scale, but I chose to pay $630 + tip (because I did still tip the stylist) for a high scale salon experience and style, which I do not feel I got. I am not looking for a refund nor rework. I am merely just sharing my experience and hope changes are made so no one else has to experience this in the future.
