Three years of loyalty and three referrals (my BFF, my daughter-in-law, my sister). Apparently none of that mattered the one and only time I've ever missed an appointment without calling, the only one, ever, since I've been getting my hair done. I totaled my car in a snowstorm outside Boston at the start of March, an accident, not a choice, not something I scheduled around a hair appointment for fun. While I was busy figuring out how to get to a meeting in Minneapolis and my car 3,000 miles home, a hair appointment didn't fit into that equation on any level. I didn't get my usual reminder text before the appointment, like I always do so that at least I would've had a reminder to let them know what happened to me. I did get a voicemail DAY OF, half of which transcribed before cutting off, a name I didn't recognize, sounding exactly like the other 100 spam calls I get daily. I ignored it. Forgive me for not intuiting that it was salon-related while dealing with a totaled car in another state. When I finally went back in, I apologized, showed them photos of my car wrecked in snow, taken just days before the missed appointmen and still got handed a $98 cancellation FEE for an accident I didn't cause and couldn't have predicted. A lifetime of getting my hair done, never once missing an appointment without calling until that day, this was a first. Fine. I paid it anyway. I just wanted my hair done.Then my stylist informed me my red needed " to be evened out." My hair was the same red it had always been, I have the photos. She did my hair less than a couple of months before this, the color I came in with that I liked. The ONLY instruction I gave was no brown. I left brown. Full brown, gray showing through, at closing time, with Casey telling me she would fix it.The blowout was its own insult. I started paying $15 extra for flat-iron because I travel and needed it to last, not because the blowout itself was ever the problem. I have years of photos proving she could do a smooth blowout with zero flat iron involved. This time, paying extra for the upgrade, I got a blowout that didn't survive three hours, it was a frizz bomb. From the time I started using the flat iron to make my blowout last for work is the time she forgot how to do blowouts. Checkout was $358, about $150 over my normal total, because the $98 fee got folded silently into the bill, and I tipped on the entire thing without realizing it. Let me be very clear: I will tip generously on service. I will not, ever, knowingly tip on a FEE charged to me because of a car accident that wasn't my fault. There was no service in that FEE. There was no styling, no skill, no time in the chair, just a charge for missing an appointment I forgot about while dealing with a totaled vehicle 3,000 miles from home. When I called to ask for that specific gratuity be refunded, not the fee, just the tip stacked on top of it, I was told the stylist "gets the fee and the tip," like I was trying to take money out of her pocket. I wasn't. I was correcting an honest mistake on a bill I wasn't paying close attention to after a stressful, exhausting day. Their response was to call back and inform me they no longer wanted me as a customer. When I texted asking if my color could at least be corrected, I was met with silence. My hair is brown at this very minute trying to figure out how to come up with $200 more to fix the problem they created.And then my sister went in. I didn't warn her off, she'd had a hard time finding a stylist and didn't want to lose her appointment, and that's her call to make. Casey, the stylist, told her that her hair was greasy, hair that is dry, porous, and curly, and has never been oily a minute in its life. Along the way, the stylist told her she needed to brush her hair, as if she just rolled out of bed and came into the salon. It didn't need to be brushed, her hair is DRY, PORUS and CURLY, not unbrushed. Proceeding to her own color, my sister tried to explain what she actually wanted, light brown hair but while reiterating that to make sure it was done, Casey sneered, 'Is this going to be a Nickolle thing?' Keep my name out of your mouth. You don't get to talk about me like that while taking $400 from my sister. ANYWAY. The result: my sister wanted lighter. She left darker, with at least three colors woven in including the purple she specifically paid to have removed, and gray still very much present and accounted for. $400, and somehow the hair went the opposite direction of every single thing she asked for. They offered to let her come back in and put a small amount of highlights. As if, she's not letting anybody from that salon touch her hair ever again. Free or not. No thanks.Two appointments, two completely botched results, and a staff that responds to legitimate complaints by firing the customer instead of fixing the work. Disgusting. read more

I was referred to Atalia for a cut and color before I got married, and I have since received so many compliments on how natural and healthy my hair looks. Atalia has been able to help me style and maintain several different hair lengths, and I am just so grateful for her expertise. I have finally found my stylist! I am a bit of a hair snob and super picky about my stylist. A close relative was a hair stylist so I know what's quality and what's a scam. Alejandro checks all the boxes for me. He has not only been trained well but he also has natural talent. He listens to his clients needs and provides what you ask for. I showed him a picture of what I wanted. I explained to him what I didn't like and he gave me exactly the hair cut I described and showed him. Did I mention he never saw my full face because I had a mask on the whole time ? (Mind blown) I also appreciated the fact that he didn't try to up sell me on anything. Thank you. Thank You. The two words I have said over & over to everyone who have complimented on my hair makeover. I've never received so much compliment on my hair, and Instagram likes ever! I am not exaggerating at all. People who I only cross ways at work or regular places I've eaten at took their time to talk about how they like my new hair color. Some people thought I was a new employee at work. Made me think to myself, why didn't I ever colored my hair in a light color?!? I was recommended to Diane for coloring. Such a sweetheart she is. During consultation, she understood what I wanted. I was playing it safe & I'm glad I took her suggestion. It was a risk to me to go out of my comfort zone, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. Diane knows what she is doing, and I'm thankful she got me to do something I've always wanted to try. I guess it doesn't hurt to try something new & different. Ive always thought it was ridiculous a salon charges an arm for highlights/dyes, and not to mention the touch ups. Now I understand why the cost can be so high. I have medium shoulder length hair and took a few hours. Ladies, if it's your first time doing balayage/ombré it will be awhile. The wait is so worth it. And please let a professional do it, if you don't know what you're doing-don't try to do it at home. Have your phone fully charge, bring a book, or whatever it is to keep you company. Or you can sit & observe the transformation of other clients. I was able to see John & Spencer's work, they may look like rock stars but they sure now how to do hair. The staff still feels like a family to me, from my last visit. Assisting each other out, unlike other salons I've been to where they're like vultures & only worry about their self. I've always loved coming to White Salon, but unfortunately this last experience was a bit disappointing. My stylist dropped a metal clip on my head and explained to me that she didn't want it to fall on the floor. She then asked how I wanted my hair to be styled at the end and I asked to have it straight, she ignored my request and round brushed it. Lastly, she rubbed my face with the wet towel to take off the left over hair which I get the meaning behind but I had makeup on and it just was a mess at the end. read more

I went to White for years. I had a number of stylists and they generally have a revolving door of stylists changing fairly regularly. The last stylist I had really pushed me to find a new salon. This guy couldn't really cut short hair and he couldn't style my hair. I could do a better job styling than he could. I realized that this salon was for higher end clients (lawyers, doctors, oil and gas folks mainly folks who look good, professional) but that has changed a lot. This stylist had no clue and I just gave up. I tried twice with him and couldn't keep having such poor results for the price. Whenever I've made an appointment and switched stylists, I've asked for folks who can do short hair and I would have thought they would want to keep such a long time client happy. I guess they didnt care. ETA: White reached out with an offer for a complimentary appointment, but I turned them down. During my multiple years at White, I settled with Sarah because I was too busy to really push for someone better (which is on me) and actually tried other stylists during that time (one offs generally because they were not much better than Sarah). I left Sarah before she moved, and I asked for a new stylist. And I had a great cut in November 2017 with a male Latino stylist, who assured me he wasn't leaving and then got stuck with the really really bad guy. read more

Update: the way the owner responds to negative reviews of his salon on here speaks for itself. Read them for yourself. He is the most unprofessional business owner I have ever dealt with. I don't wear my hair to my butt or even close, there was not "endless whimpering", and the only reason I tried to pay in advance was to save time at the end since I was busy and my appointment didn't start until half an hour after the scheduled time. The fact that anyone who has a negative experience at his salon is a liar in his eyes (as he points out) seems to indicate that the problem may not be with the clientele. I had an amazon local deal for a cut/full Highlights/conditioning treatment and went yesterday for my appointment. The owner did my hair. I really liked the ambiance of the salon. It was bright and it had nice music. I wanted to love my hair. I really wanted to. The cut is great. He gave me the cut that I wanted. The color... I don't like it. And considering I was there for 4.5 hours, well I wanted to love it. I wanted to be blonder, and I am, but my blonde is so brassy. It seems like it even had some red in it, and I did not want that. Also, I said I wanted natural looking highlights, and many parts of it seem to be pretty chunky/streaky. He didn't ask me if I liked it at the end, or I may have said something. But after that long, I just needed to get out. I warned him in advance that I have a very sensitive head (I don't know why, I hate it). I have tons of hair and basically I hate when people even touch it, but what can I do? I have to get my hair done. So I do what I can. I tell them in advance to please be extremely careful, I ask them to do the cut before the color (so there is not so much hair to get through after the color), I offer to brush it out myself, etc. He wouldn't do the cut before the color (few people will, but some have and it helps so much). It seems like he wasn't that careful. More than one time I was literally crying in the chair because he was pulling so hard on it. Four hours of this is pretty much torture, and it is so maddening, but I can't really get up and leave in the middle of it, especially when I'm going on vacation the next day. And the professionalism there leaves a lot to be desired. I got charged extra because apparently he used two toners on me. But i wasn't informed of that until I was paying. It seems like some other stylists messed up the girl's hair that was sitting next to me. Her hair turned an orange color and they had to redo it. Also, the way he talked about some of his customers/potential customers didn't leave me feeling like he was going to say very nice things about me, either. I wanted to love it, I'm sorry I didn't, and judging from the other negative reviews, I'm sure I'll get a response from the owner to this review. Oh well. Yelp. read more

I've been looking for a good salon and I did tons of researching until I found this one. I had hair down to practically my butt and I was about chop all of it off and I wanted to make sure I had someone who knew what they were doing! :) When you first walk in, they offer you a glass of cucumber lemon water, a mimosa, wine, soda, whatever, as you sign in for your appointment. My appt. was at 1:15, and I think I finally got sat in the chair at 1:30, but it was a gorgeous Saturday afternoon and they were pretty busy, so I definitely can't blame them. When they're ready for you, your stylist will come and shake your hand and introduce themselves to you, and I loved that, it felt so personal! My stylist was John and he was so awesome! He was so easy to talk to and he knew exactly what he was doing, all I had to do was show him a picture and he went to town, and the finished product was almost exactly like the picture too! While he was cutting my hair and everything, he was telling me exactly what he was doing, and how he was doing it and he made sure I was okay with everything he was doing. I had such a great experience with him, and I will totally go back anytime I need my hair cut again. Everyone in the salon was so welcoming, talkative, and friendly, that I basically can't wait until my hair grows out so I can come back. My hair cut was probably the best hair cut I've ever had. This review is for White Salon before they stopped doing massages. I bought a Bloomspot deal for a 90 minute massage for $49 and I really enjoyed it! I scheduled the first appointment on Saturday morning and my masseuse was about an hour late. It was ok though because they had drinks and magazines out to keep me entertained while I waited. The massage rooms are on the second floor of this building. They have a locker room and they give you a key to one of the lockers to store your things and change into a bathrobe before your massage. The massage was really nice. I'm usually ticklish when I get massages but I didn't feel ticklish at all! It was really relaxing. The spa itself is clean and modern and the people who work here are really nice! read more

So, I was in need of a new stylist because I noticed an inexcusable amount of split ends, even right after getting a cut, from my last stylist. I came to yell and found white salon. I was a little Leary upon walking in that I might not be cool enough to get my hair cut here. The stylists are all tatted, and hip looking, and I'm very plain. However, Diane was very nice, and she did a great job telling me what she was going to do and what she thought would be best. I told her I wanted to get rid of the split ends and she suggested cutting off 1.5 inches... Which is a lot... But sometimes it's necessary. I was so pleased when she was done that my hair still looked long and had a nice bounce to it. It looks so healthy! Brisa saved my life!!! ...ok not really, but she did save my hair and that's pretty much the same thing. :) I decided it was time for some summery blondish highlights (I naturally have brown hair and haven't done any sort of color in about 10 years). I showed my usual haircut girl (not at White) some photos and she got started......and then I couldn't even let her finish. She was blow drying my hair and inside I started holding back dry heaves and tears at the same time. I told her to stop drying and I'd finish it at home. Short story shorter, worst. highlights. ever. I immediately began searching for someone to fix me. I found White on Yelp and gave them a call - the guy who answered the phone could obviously hear the desperation in my tone and set me up for a consultation with Brisa for the next afternoon. Brisa really listened to what it was I was trying to achieve that had gone so horribly wrong (although she was professional and wouldn't speak a single negative word about my current situation). She advised me on what it would take to get me the look I wanted and seemed confident she could make it happen. I was thankful she was able to work me in the same day as my consult, and after spending the better part of the afternoon in the salon, I left so SO happy. Brisa is truly talented and I appreciated that she walked me through each step and explained what she was doing. Plus everyone else at White was so friendly and accommodating. I followed Brisa from Clique Salon in Rice Village to White Salon on W. Gray. I'm glad she made the transition, because the staff and ambience trumps that of Clique. I began seeing Brisa when I was dealing with the agonizing task of growing out a pixie and trying to achieve long, mermaid-eqsue locks. She gained my trust and loyalty by really understanding my plight and only cutting off an amount that I was comfortable with, and at the same time structuring each cut so that it didn't appear to be an awkward in-limbo length. She did a great job of evening out my layers, creating a full look for my otherwise fine hair. In the past, I've given up on growing out my hair (the process took about 3 years), but with Brisa's help, I'm finally here. And I'll trust her to chop it all off when I'm ready. I now make a point to get my hair cut every 8-10 weeks because with each cut, she focuses a great deal on styling my hair and making sure that I leave the salon feeling confident. She has a flair for mixing hip and classic styles -- and her youthfulness helps her recognize what look I'm going for (usually 60s hair). She teases my hair in a way that gives off the illusion that I have a thick, bouncy mane, without me looking like a Texas cheerleader. She's great company and is always eager to learn new things in the world of color and cuts. It's refreshing to hear her tell me about a new class she's enrolled in every time I go in for a cut. I found White Salon through Groupon (it was my first time to try Groupon and so glad I did.) The staff was welcoming, but not overly so. The salon is clean and sharp. Ashley was my stylist and she listen to what I wanted, asking throughout the process did I have any preferences and discussing it with me, something I really appreciated. She was fun to talk with and made the time a lot of fun. The cut was perfect, something I have been looking for, and the color was more than I expected. It was obvious she listen to what I wanted, because in the end, it was perfect! As for the Groupon, no hidden surprises. I was never given the sale-up routine. I walked out owing nothing more after submitting the Groupon when I walked in. So my first experience with Groupon will probably NOT be my last. Highly Recommend; I plan to return! read more

I made an appointment at White Salon on a Thursday after work, just before a date. The appointment was for 715, but I showed up early, hoping the stylist might be able to take me a bit sooner so that I didn't have to rush to my date at 8p. Well, 715 came and went, and none of the stylists so much as made eye contact with me. I texted my date saying I'd probably be late. Still getting the invisible treatment. At 735 -- 20 minutes past my appointment time, I still hadn't been acknowledged by a single stylist. So I headed for the door, telling the guy at the counter that I had dinner plans and couldn't continue waiting. He barely glanced up from his phone offering a half-hearted, 'sorry.' I know stylists run late, usually because their clients run late -- fine, just do me the courtesy of telling me: "Hey dude, I know you had a 715, but I won't be done for another 20 minutes." Why is that so hard? I hate writing negative reviews, but here's hoping White Salon staff can bring up their game so that this kind of thing doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

When I entered White Salon, I had thick, wavy untamable hair halfway down my back. I always wore it in a ponytail or bun, because what else was I going to do with this mop? After a little over an hour in John's chair, I had a cute, manageable chin length bob that embraces my hair's waves, frames my face, lengthens my neck and perfectly follows my jaw line. I showed John a few pictures on my phone and explained to him that I'm a low maintenance kind of girl, so I won't be primping too much in the mornings. I also expressed a few quirks: hair can't touch the back of my neck, it just CAN'T! Despite my stupid hair and quirks, he immediately got inspired and excited, which rubbed off on me. They put my hair in two 10-inch braids and then made the first two big chops, and of course everyone in the salon stared at me for that moment. "She's so brave!" was whispered, but no, I trusted that John would do a great job. Also, it's just hair, it grows back. John quickly learned that I'm not much of a chair-chatter and followed suit. He seemed like a great guy, but I just don't feel the need to tell my life story. He explained what he was doing while cutting, razoring or styling, and he seemed to be continually happy with how my cut was turning out. My favorite thing about John was that I really felt he embraced my hair's natural texture and waves as he cut, whereas most stylists fight my hair to get a specific cut, thereby forcing me in to more daily styling. My morning hair styling now takes 5 minutes or less and basically just includes some hand twisting and scrunching with mousse. THIS is my kind of haircut. I love the way it feels and the ease of which it wears. John said my new cut is "killer" and I've received nothing but compliments so far. I'll be back in 6 weeks, White Salon. read more

Like my Yelp friend Sonia T. I've been cheating...but it feels so good! I have my regular stylist who I love to death, but when she was out sick and had no appointments for a week...I had to strike out and find a new friend. I have super short hair, so once it gets to a certain point you have to get it touched up or else I end up looking like I stuck my finger in an electric socket. And I've done that before. I digress. I called up White Salon as I had been there for color work once before, and was able to get an appointment with John the same day. The receptionist told me he'd be the perfect guy to get a fun, edgy update to my do, so I booked it and headed over after work. John was the bomb.com...tattooed up, long hair and gages in his ears - to be honest I thought he might be too edgy for me, but I couldn't have been more wrong. He talked to me a bit about what I wanted and then suggested some ways to freshen it up. After we set out a plan it was off to hair transformation land I went! A little less than an hour later I had a fresh new cut that was super cute, edgy and easy to maintain - all this girl could ever ask for! I've since been back to see John for a trim one more time, and really love what he can do with a pair of scissors. I still feel bad for cheating on my regular gal, but at least I know I have two people in town that get me and my hair! read more

Why didn't anybody tell me that John was a bad ass? Why? I'm so pissed. I could have been looking really hot for 2 years and now that time is wasted. John maybe gave me 1 of the 3 best haircuts I've ever had in my life today. This is what I liked about my experience. John asked me what I wanted, gave me his opinion, did his thing, then wowed me with a great precision cut. He took his time, and styled it in a really flattering way. I am always reluctant to tell the world when I find a great new hairdresser because I'm afraid that once people know my secret, I won't be able to book an appointment with her. But I owe it to every other BLOND in Houston to share the extraordinarily talented person I am now entrusting my locks with. Oh man! She is that good and the "blonds of Houston" need to know about her. Alas, it is my duty! I come to White Salon because Diane Le is the best colorist in Houston! She knows blond hair, which everyone claims to know, but rarely delivers on. I cannot begin to tell you the disasters I've had trying to find someone who really gets the nuances of beautiful, natural looking, STUNNING blond hair, especially here in Texas where dark hair is everywhere. I have had my hair done (and paid major bucks) with top colorists in Paris, Cannes, Manhattan, San Francisco and LA. And Diane is by far the BEST YET. When I walk out of White Salon, I have a grin on my face like a Cheshire cat. Simply said, Diane makes me feel BEAUTIFUL, with gorgeous swingy, bouncy, sun-kissed, blond hair (oh, that also smells divine!). You know, the kind you see on celebrities heads that you envy from afar.....that look so incredibly natural, but you just know they've paid a fortune for. Not only is Diane precociously talented in the hair department, she is also the sweetest, most pleasant human being on the planet. You'll walk out of White Salon not only looking the best you've ever looked, but with a smile on your face because you've spent the last few hours with one of the most kind and upbeat people you'll ever meet. I have had so many snotty hair colorists/stylists who think they walk on water and their arrogance is beyond off-putting. I fired my last hair dresser because his attitude was just sooooo....OMG, SHUT UP ABOUT YOURSELF, DUDE, YOU ARE NOT THAT AMAZING!! Diane is unbelievably talented, but also, one of the most humble people you'll ever meet. The salon itself is really beautiful, comfy and modern, without being pretentious or uncomfortable. The other stylists are very nice too, and it's obvious they all get along and enjoy each other. This creates an atmosphere of positive energy that is a pleasure to be immersed in. I have visited way too many salons where the drama between the stylists is so thick, you can cut it with a knife. When I'm getting my hair done, I don't want to be in the middle of a prima donna snark-fest! The wine is also awesome...they serve you up a nice big glass of GOOD chardonnay, not the cheap stuff. There's also an abundance of coffee, green tea and fresh lemon water if that's your pleasure. Oh, and the prices are GREAT. Very reasonable compared to a lot of other salons I've been to. I can't say enough good things about White Salon, and particularly DIANE LE. God, she is so amazing... Hello. I love you. I've been an inner-looper for three years and for all that time I was unable to find a salon to call home. I've been using groupon, living social and other like companies to help in my search. There's only been a couple times of tragedy, it's just mostly been uninspired experiences at other salons. For years my hair was completely suppressed by my job, it spent 14 hour of the day up in a pony tail. When I left that job I finally had hair freedom. Being in an artistic field I expect others in an artistic field to be creative. I tried several salons and asked for something "more edgy" and what I got every time was "lets give you more layers." *sigh* I expect my stylist to be able to tell me what will look the best on me, not just ask me what I want and then look frustrated and clueless when I didn't come in with a real idea. Happily the madness is over. I have found my home at White Salon. My first visit here was with John. When I didn't come in with a plan of attack he seemed ecstatic and instantly rattled off options. Finally a creative soul! I was a little talked into blond highlights, but I could tell immediately this was someone to trust. I've never left a salon so happy and my color was gorgeous, freaking amazing! I've never received such wonder treatment under a discounted service. They have a different kind of shampoo bowl. In regular bowls I usually leave with my neck feeling achey, but these bowls are actually comfortable. Another point for them! My next visit was with Gerry, who I equally love and was equally amazing. I love getting "this is what we should do" not "so what do you want?" You can tell instantly that Gerry is very knowledgable and he left me with some freaking beautiful color as well. This is what your stylists are suppose to be like people! You want someone that knows how to conceive a creative thought and those people that don't will give you cookie cutter every time. There space is great, so fresh and so clean. I'm very into esthetics and they are too, very neat modern. What is great is that they have a huge parking lot, which is almost unheardof in this area. I have no problem with good old small business and their street parking, but when I have to drive around several times it gets frustrating to anyone. Their upstairs is where the spa area is located. I received some waxing services. The room was very comfortable. The waxing was with strips, so it hurt a little more than the hard wax, however the esthetician was very thorough and she trimmed my eyebrows without having to be asked. Thank you for paying attention to the fact that the tall eyebrow does not look good on me! I have to save a special moment here for Bruce the receptionist/client services manager. He is outstanding, the most friendliest and genuine I've ever met. This is the first person a new client mets and it sets off the best first impression. The first time I was there I had water while waiting to met John, moments later I realized from the indiscernible taste and the new rash on my hand that there was cucumber in the water. I had a great laugh with Bruce about him swearing he wasn't trying to kill me (it is really a random allergy), seriously he has the ability to talk to you like you have been friends for years. After my third trip here I got a hug on the way out, definitely home! Bottom line the people and the salon are great and it's a breath of fresh air to find a salon that warrants the prices here in the loop. read more

I had an appointment at White Salon for my daughter for consultation and service today...quote for hair color and cut is $300. I asked a stylist if he is confident with his work and my daughter will be happy walking out of the Salon today? He said he is confident... I asked him another question (as a joke) my daughter is pretty picky, she would cry if it her hair go wrong.. He go t worried and went to the back... talked to his Manager... came back in .5 minutes and said that I have to sign a waiver form agreed it is my responsibility for whatever my daughter hair turn out before he would work on my daughter's hair....I said I would sign it ( just because my daughter wants her hair done so bad)... 5 minutes later he came back and turn down the service.. he ask us to find another salon to get her hair color....He would not want to have responsibility for his own work!!!!! In an endless sea of emails from deal sites featuring discounted massages from obscure "spas" around town, I finally scored a Bloomspot deal for a 60 minute deep tissue massage at the always intriguing White Salon in Montrose. I was able to easily park in their private lot which bodes well for the stress reducing service I was about to partake in. Expecting a pristine white interior based on their name, I was surprised to see White Salon boasted an orange interior. Saturday afternoon was understandably busy, bustling with the hippest hair gurus I've ever seen in one salon (hello ear gauges and tattoo sleeves!). I was immediately escorted to the much more serene upstairs were I changed into my over-sized robe and terry cloth slippers and took a seat in the "zen-esque" room awaiting my masseuse. I say "zen-esque" as this room was my only issue with White Salon. The dim waiting area featured Indian style textiles and pillows with one long cushioned bench to relax on. The room could afford to upgrade the seating situation, add some water and a door to fade out the louder than loud colorist working down the hall. Thankfully, I did not have to wait very long before I was welcomed by Jason, White Salon's resident masseuse with hands from the gods. 60 minute massages usually fly by for me. I also usually get bored with anything that does not have to do directly with my back. However, Jason used the the perfect amount of pressure on every tense joint. He did a great with timing the massage to the areas I needed the most, finishing the treatment out with an amazing cooling cream that kept my back tingling for another 30 minutes.I left my massage with Jason a new woman, and am not sure if I can go back to any other masseuse. Upon waiting to pay, I took the time to pay attention to the staff downstairs and was impressed by the relationship style each hair stylist had with their client. I may just have to make another appointment with White Salon. Despite the less than zen wait room, this salon has their act together. read more
