Jessica is AMAZING! I have been going to Jessica for a few years (including when she was working elsewhere, and I "followed" her to Beauty Bliss) for my sugaring and skincare needs. She does excellent work and is very professional. Jessica makes you feel extremely comfortable during sugarings (given the situation, haha) - no reason to feel awkward around her. For people new to sugaring, she explains the benefits and procedures very matter-of-factly, as she is extremely knowledge and experienced. My body hairs are mostly blonde and hard to see, but she always does a "final inspection" to ensure that her sugared off all the hard-to-see hairs. Her sugaring prices are reasonable and competitive. Jessica's facials are heavenly! She customizes facials to each client's skin. The products she uses on my sensitive skin are amazing and have little fragrance to them, which I prefer, as I'm sensitive to strong smells. She is not at all pushy about selling the product line, but if you ask for her advice, the information she provides is extremely helpful. During the facial, she also provides you with a foot massage (after wrapping your feet with hot towels - so nice!) and a shoulder/neck massage, as well as diamond microdermabrasion and a special light for aging skin (if needed, like me). Jessica specializes in Sugar paste hair removal which is way more comfortable than traditional hot wax and those painful strips! Who wants to abuse those sensitive lady parts with hot wax? Not I! I've been coming to Jessica for nearly four years now and I wouldn't even consider going elsewhere because she is good at what she does and she has a great personality that just makes the experience altogether awesome:) It's like having a mini-date with a good friend because she is such a genuine, down-to-earth person! Jessica is a really special human being! She has sugared my legs for a couple of years now. I have been sugared by other people, but I feel very minimal pain when Jessica sugars me compared to others. This probably has to do with her high level of professionalism and expertise, and also because energetically she holds a really soft and comfortable space. Among my friends and family, when I tell them I have a sugar appointment I call it "my healing session," because I always feel that my heart is filled back up after spending time with Jess. As for my legs and arms, since I have been sugaring faithfully for a few years, even when I'm due for sugar I don't mind the growth much because the hair is so fine now. I have had the pleasure of having Jessica as my Skincare Goddess for well over a decade! With her recently opening up Beauty Bliss, her first solo venture, I thought it is high time I give her a fresh review. Jessica's room and work environment has always been really beautiful, but Beauty Bliss is by far my favorite! So soothing and relaxing! It is in a group collective called Maven, where there are a few other businesses such as lash extensions, etc. The whole place is really cute, light and airy with hanging plants and awesome retro inspired light fixtures. There are a couple of parking spaces right outside the building but it's just as easy to park on the street too. Jessica's facials are just magic! I have always had difficult skin and seeing her on the regular helps so much. I feel like I get so much care squeezed into an hour- shoulder massage while my treatment mask is doing it's thing, hot towels that just have the perfect hint of lavender essence to them, foot massage while my pores are opening up with the steam, light therapy and microdermabrasion if needed, and of course special care in doing extractions on my sensitive skin, and then a dose of sunscreen or whatever serum/cream my skin needs for the rest of my day. Jessica is really easy to talk to and I always enjoy catching up on how everything is going in our lives. She can always answer my skincare questions and I have never felt pressured to buy any product, in fact, she has sent me on my way with a bit of sample or extra treatment when I needed it. I haven't done a ton of sugaring but I did have my underarms done and it was way easier then I anticipated! Jessica made quick work of it and I was out the door smooth as butter! read more

I have followed Jessica to Beauty Bliss in Mission Hills. It's easy to access from the freeway, has parking, and is located in a beautiful area. The new room she uses is larger and looks great. It's always clean and well kept and inviting. I hate getting sugaring done but she always makes me feel comfortable so I don't think about the pain. (I'm kind of a baby about sugaring). I also really like her client focused care and I plan to get facials at some point in the future.
