She told me to ask Nicole when I got there if she could do my brow wax in addition to my Brazilian so I did and Nicole said no and that she would not have time. She told me to get undressed, I told her I'm fast yet, she took what seemed to be 3-5 mins to come back in. The Brazilian went smoothly, I don't need extra care, and I don't make small talk. I went out to pay and no one was in the lobby waiting. The receptionist bumped my appt from 10:40 to 11:00. Nicole was done and I had paid at 11:03. I sat in my car and handled a few things to see if anyone came in the front doors. Not one client walked in. I left at 11:15. Nicole had PLENTY of time to do my brows. PLENTY. She was just being petty. To top it off, she had the nerve to get offended and drop an attitude on me when I didn't tip here. Was she actually surprised? Unbelievable. There are WAY too many choices for waxing here in San Diego for one of your employees to act like that. As a side note: the woman who answered my call at 10:36 when I was on the road to the store was very kind.

After finally finding the temporary location, I politely asked if they could add one small service that would have taken maybe two minutes. I was told they couldn't do anything because they were fully booked and didn't have time. I understand being busy, but after already spending 20 minutes trying to find a location that wasn't properly listed, it was frustrating to receive that kind of response. I've been a loyal customer for years, so I expected a better experience. I've generally had good experiences with European Wax Center, but this particular location was very disappointing.

The skin craft is such an amazing place. What a great location. Very quiet and beautiful inside. They offer free parking in La Boheme parking structure. I got the men's hydrafacial because I heard it is the best men's facial you can get. I had a lot of black heads on my nose. The hydrafacial took care of it. Danielle really knows her stuff and was able to give me a facial even with my beard. Felt so amazing. I am pretty sure I fell asleep halfway through. She had all the maintenance products I need by IS clinical. Def will be rebooking. read more

The people there are very nice and welcoming, especially the woman working the register that day. I was given some information to fill out and offered tea or water before my facial appointment. I was getting ready for a big event in my life, and therefore, wanted to pay some attention to skincare. My facial session was very comfortable and relaxing. My primary complaint (the same I had last time) was that at least half of the session was actually a head, shoulder, and arm massage. Yes, that was very nice, but I felt that very little of the session was directed to skincare. After all, I had booked a facial, not a massage. Also, they did some extractions, but when so little time (under two minutes) was devoted to extractions, I didn't understand the reason for doing it at all. I think my biggest issue was that I had some lotions that she was rubbing into my face before doing the scalp massage, and then she proceeded to rub so much greasy lotion into my hair. Unfortuantely, I had to go home and wash my hair instead of doing the errands I had intended to complete after my appointment. I really like the location and the relaxed feeling of this spa, but I just didn't end up very pleased with my service.
