Thao did my hair and makeup for my September wedding and I can't sing enough praise for her! I emailed her last minute due to a late notice cancellation from my original artist and Thao was so helpful and responsive and made the booking process so seamless. She put together the contract, built the full timeline, and even asked for inspiration pictures for each of the girls (which she referenced the day-of), all within a 48-hour period. I asked for a soft glam look for my makeup and a half updo with curls and she delivered!! Since we weren't able to do a trial session together, Thao made sure to check in with me throughout the session to make sure we were going in the right direction for the look I was envisioning. I loved the final look and felt great! We had a total of 11 services between the bridesmaids, MOH/G, and the bride (myself). I honestly cannot thank Thao enough for making me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day this past Sunday. I found Thao on Yelp and was impressed by all of the glowing reviews and the photos of her work which, when it comes to hair and makeup, speaks volumes. I reached out to Thao and she was so responsive and made the booking process so easy. Without a bridal party, I opted to just get hair and makeup for myself and my mom. About a month before the wedding, I booked a trial run for hair and makeup and was able to head to her home in San Jose to do so. She was so friendly and real, and made sure that I was comfortable with everything every step of the way (from deciding what size false lashes to use, to the color of my lipstick, etc.). On the day of my wedding, she came to my apartment and worked so quickly that we were done a good half hour before I thought we'd be done. She was also so accommodating when I changed my mind from an updo to half-up and half down. Even though we didn't do a trial of that style, Thao absolutely nailed it from just a couple of source photos. Through many tears of joy, the rain that was pouring down, lots of eating and drinking, and hours of dancing, my makeup and hair stayed intact.
