Today my brow lady was Harjot and she was super sweet and caring. It always hurts when I get my brows threaded because they pull directly from the root, which is the best method in my opinion. Harjot was very tender and she worked quickly so it wasn't as bad. We also talked about makeup and girly things and it was very nice. She is a kind person and I'd go to her again. She also told me about this great lip matte by Maybelline that's under 10 dollars and stays on for 10-12 hours. She was actually wearing it and I liked the color. Definitely going to be buying some soon but probably in a peach or nude. I'm on the go a lot so it helps to have a nice lippy that'll stay on all day. Walked into this place today with fam and the lady worked there almost seemed startled by us. She was working on someone and said "Yes". I said um hello? From this moment, I knew this place wasn't gonna be it for our business. She said "can I help you?" Yes, mom is going to get her eyebrows done. Shs looks confused and says "What does she want". While still helping the other lady. At this point she looks anoyed and we feel unwelcome af. So we tell her we want a tattoo. tf kind of question is that. What other service do you provide? At this point we all look at each other like let's go, this is not the place for us. So the girl who worked there said she didn't have time, that she was doing a full face and would be about 30 minutes. Lol yeah right. Nobodys gave takes 30 minutes to thread. So we said ok, we'll come back. I lied to her. We didn't go back. On our way back kit the mall, we saw someone else in the shop sitting waiting for customers. You're not getting any of our money. Maybe she was startled that 2 guy's and an old lady wanted their brows done, which wasn't the case, but no need to be rude. read more

I've been a Beauty By Thread customer for years now. Several locations in Sac County but I've primarily been a customer at the South Sacramento location, close to relatives. I've received good service from each technician, but we live across town so I don't visit as much as I want to. I was shopping at Sunrise Mall and noticed a location inside the mall (which is strange because there is another Beauty By Thread location literally across the street from the mall...visited once didn't like the finished result). Since I was in need of a brow clean up I popped in the Sunrise Mall location as I wrapped up my shopping, and was serviced by Deep. Can I just tell you guys I adore Deep? I usually walk into BBT and state what service I need. Deep checked me in and immediately said, "You just need clean up your brows are fine." I knew then it would good visit! Deep and I enjoyed a little small talk (family, holidays, work), and she was done in a flash. I was very happy with my brows and personable Deep was (I repeat, love the service in South Sac but it's across town). I'll be moving my business to the Sunrise location. Honestly so disappointed with my visit. Walked in for the first time to get my eyebrows threaded and wasn't even acknowledged by the lady doing eyebrows so I sat down and waited for her to finish the person she was doing. A couple minutes later someone else comes in, apparently signs in and sits down. When the lady finished the person she was threading she called the person who came after me and then asks me if I had signed in. I say no and she tells me I have to sign in and continues to take the other person. How rude is that? It was my first time there and she didn't even care to help me. Maybe I didn't sign in because I didn't know I had to? Very rude and disappointed in the service. read more
