So I actually go to the Delta Shores location regularly but my typical stylist was out and they reassigned me to Jenny, who usually works at the Folsom location. I get nervous when I can't see my usual threader but wow. Jenny was fantastic! It had been a while since I had gotten my eyebrows threaded so instead of just doing a cleanup, I asked her to go a little thinner. She did an amazing job and it also hurt less than normal. She was also very fast too! I also let her do my upper lip (which I never get done because the first time I got it done it hurt so bad). It still hurt but not as much as the first time and I definitely look so much better! read more

Recommend. When I came in to thread my eyebrows I let her know I always cry when I get it done. When they tell you beauty is pain, hey they're being real. So many times at other places I've gotten threading, they take a long time to remove the hair and I'm a mess bc my eyes will cry. Jenny was so fast, she was like a wizard, it was the least painful experience I've had with best results! They turned out perfect. I'll never go anywhere els! Ive tried 3 other threading locations and most of the time I was disappointed on how my eyebrows would turn out. I went here once and loved it, now I've been coming here for over a year and they always do an amazing job! I normally have really sensitive skin and would break out a lot after I would get threaded, but instead of using the cooling gel one of the women recommended I use an alcohol swab on whatever part they threaded and I don't break out AT ALL. I have been going to Beauty by Thread in Folsom for 6 years now and I will never go anywhere else. The Stylists are extremely professional and friendly and very receptive to the clients wishes. The salon is very clean and I felt safe and comfortable with the Covid precautions in place. Scheduling an appointment is the best way to go, they're always on time.
