Great place and prices. I had my eyebrows jacked up at the threading store at the downtown plaza. I stopped in while shopping at the outlets in May and have visited every month since and my eyebrows are back to a beautiful shape. I've been to many an eyebrow threading salon in hopes of the perfect arch and there is no better than Beauty by Thread! Never more than a 5 min wait, even when all the technicians are busy. I am always in and out in 10 minutes and for $10 for eyebrow threading, it's the best steal in town! Will forever recommend! read more

They always do an amazing job but they're very rude every time I go in there they always have a problem every time I go in there when I do go in there they always call me a different name when it was one of their workers fault that my info is wrong and when they do do that they make me feel really uncomfortable because they start talking their language and have snobby attitudes. LONG overdue review, but much needed as I promised Kuldeep I would finally rave about her amazing talent! I moved to the Sacramento area earlier last year and decided I would give this place a try on a whim. By luck, I got paired with Kuldeep and have never been with a brow lady as great! She was very thorough and took her time to make sure the job was done perfectly. I have very sensitive skin that has been easily cut in the past from other threading businesses, but with Kuldeep I never have to worry. I love Beauty by Thread! I have been waxing my eyebrows for years, but ever sine I tried threading, I will never wax agan! Threading is a superb service that is lasting and high quality. Threading is fast (to have my eyebrows and chin done it only takes 5 minutes, so it is great for the person who doesn't have much free time! Threading is long lasting. It is much less painful then waxing, I would call it a "buzzing" feeling. So it's gentle. The studio/room is very clean and well organized. I've been here two times. I came here after reading the very good reviews. The first time I liked how they did my eyebrows, a old lady did my eyebrows. I don't remember her name but she was very nice and gentle, she did a very good job. Then, I came on Friday and Raima did my eyebrows. She had a very bad sweaty smell coming from her and when she was talking there was a very rancid stench coming from her mouth. After she was done she showed me but one side was way too thin. Raima made them way too thin and I just wanted them cleaned up. I came here after 3 months after they grew and I drew on the shape I wanted before I went. Raima did such a horrible job so I'm never coming back again. read more

I told myself I wasn't going to come back here after a negative experience with another stylist during my first visit, but since I commute to Folsom everyday and was in dire need of a clean-up, I really didn't feel like traveling out of my way to the Beauty by Thread in Arden Fair Mall (which is where I started going instead). I decided to give this place another try, and this time I set up an appointment with a different stylist. On my second visit, I received treatment from Kuldeep, who was much more kind and caring. She did a thorough job on my brows, and made my first time lip threading a painless experience! To my surprise, she was aware of my negative Yelp review and politely asked me to consider changing my rating if I enjoyed my experience the second time. Although I felt a bit awkward at the request, I did leave feeling much more satisfied than before. I'm glad she took it upon herself to care for my concerns and improve upon my experience. I do appreciate it. Very thankful to Kuldeep and to Yelp for giving customers a voice! I hope to return with the same sincere and genuine service as before :) read more

My sister was visiting from out of state so I thought it'd be fun for the two of us to get our eybrows threaded. I've had them done before, but at the Arden location and it was great. We were at the Folsom outlet so we decided to just get it done there. BIG mistake. The lady did an okay job on me, but not so great on my sister. Once she finished my sisters brows, we noticed they were a bit uneven and a bit too thick for my sister's liking so she kindly asked the lady to fix it as they do have a 2 day "policy" which states that if you're not satisfied, to go back within 2 days so they could fix that. We noticed then and there and asked right away to get it fixed. Unfortunately, the lady disagreed and said no. And then both of our jaws dropped! Again, my sister asked her to fix it and thin it out just a bit more, but the lady insisted it was fine and didn't need fixing and that when it grows out it'd look like my eyebrows. My sister could care less because she does NOT want her eyebrows like mine. She just wanted them to be a bit thinner and again, the lady said no and insisted they were fine. I will NEVER be going back to this location, but I do highly recommend the Arden location. read more

Kuldeep is her name and she is very popular for all the right reasons, if you wish to have her do your eyebrows you have to make an appoint at least a week in advance.
