I have a habit of working too much and not splurging on myself. Often going 8+ months before I get around to cutting my hair. The last time I colored my hair was over a decade ago. After seeing pictures of the magic Winnie is able to do on her client's hair, I had to try it for myself. I was a bit nervous about it. Wasn't sure how well the color would work with my hair, but determined to try. The salon is on the ground floor corner of a townhouse complex. The interior is very nice modern decor. It was clean and didn't have that chemical smell some salons have. Winnie was phenomenal at answering my questions and being very honest about not being able to promise the results as she's never worked with my hair and everyone's hair reacts differently to dyes. With virgin hair, we were about to embark this transformation journey together. I was at total ease with Winnie. I trusted her judgement and really respected her honesty. She taught me how to properly care for my hair as red is the shade that fades the fastest, but with some changes to my routine I could help prolong the color. I am so beyond pleased with the results of my hair appointment with Winnie. I began by sharing a brief history of my hair so she could decide the best course of action. My hair goals are to achieve and icy blonde balayage; as my hair is naturally a warm, darker color, I understand that this will take multiple sessions to achieve this to uphold the integrity of my hair.
