I love the look of faux lashes for brightening and enlarging the eye, something I need more than ever now that I'm (gasp!) 50. But I'm useless when it comes to putting them on myself, so I've been interested in lash extensions for a while. I happened upon Love Moore when I was seeing my manicurist nearby and had to call! I was nervous about doing lash extensions, because I wear glasses and I didn't want my lashes so long that they were hitting my lenses. I also didn't want it to look like I'm trying to pretend to be 20 years old. I just wanted something that looked full and natural. La Tanya at Love Moore Lash Bar listened to all my concerns and applied the most beautiful set of natural looking lash extensions that are perfect for a "woman of a certain age" and for one who wears glasses! My intial set two weeks ago held up pretty well. I followed all of La Tanya's instructions. (She sends you home with lash brushes and a card with clear care instructions.) And I used the micellar water cleanser she recommends on her Instagram. It does take some getting used to if you're used to scrubbing your face really hard, but just do what La Tanya suggests and you'll be fine. Over the first few weeks, I did notice a few lash extensions come off, but nothing out of the ordinary (some loss is expected). I noticed I had a few more come off on the side I sleep on, but I did order a satin pillowcase from Amazon at La Tanya's suggestion and I think that helped! Today, I had my first "fill" appointment and we actually took both the length and curl up a bit (again, everything is TOTALLY customized to what you want) and they look great! I'm not a super glamour girl and I don't wear makeup every day, but these lashes make me feel way more "put together" than ever! Thanks La Tanya. I've been hesitant to post this, but this La Tanya the owner hasn't left me a choice. I booked an appointment with her for a foreign fill on Sunday 7/3/21 for Monday at 1pm. Her policy states once booked, pay your deposit which I did or no service. I get an automated text confirming and screenshot her my payment. I tried reaching out to her not once, not twice but three times to confirm. No reply. I get a reply from her one hour before my appointment that she had a family emergency and was sorry for the delayed response back. I'm totally cool with that. In her response she asked if she could reschedule me for the next day, same time. I could not make it and my time is just as valuable as she claims her time is. I asked her nicely! To please refund me and that I hoped everything was okay with her family. It's now, 72 hours later and she has not refunded me again, Reminders to her that I want my money back. I'm sorry! But no where in her policy does it state if she has to cancel, and the client can't make her requested appointment is it non refundable. I'm not stupid and not new to this lash business and ladies, a 50$ deposit is steep, and not normal business in the lash industry. I have never had such a problem with an individual to go to this length to yelp how shitty this is. Bad bad business ethics! read more

I'm a travel nurse who's been to plenty of lash techs & idc how far my assignment is I'll fly to get my fills & sets from her! 5 Star Service is hard to find, LaTanya not only met all of my requirements but exceeded my expectations!! I've had tons of lash extensions and she seriously has one of the softest touches I've encountered. I didn't walk away feeling slightly abused and achy like I usually do.
