The outside of the building and the stairway are a bit dated, but don't let that fool you...the space inside the salon is lovely. Always plenty of parking. I highly recommend! I've have not yet tried the mail or massage services.

Chris did a great initial consult making suggestions, as I was open to what would look best for me and not 100% sure what I wanted. He really asked for my feedback on various options the entire time which I appreciated. Shop is spacious, with about 4-5 chairs with tv, live edge slab benches and tables and various photos and memorabilia on the wall. Tunes playing. All staff was friendly, and easy going chatting. Easy free parking out front lot is nice too. Obviously I'll be back.

And she also warned me to bring mask which I happily complied Came there 10 mnts before my appointment. She covered with the plastic cover that she can throw it away after each customer. She understand the style that I want ( blunt cut with texture ) and delivered it in 30 mnts. Very nice lady. We chat about hair colour too. She's very cautious and clean all the surface every time she got new customer. Hand sanitizer is everywhere. She take only cash and venmo at the moment. So venmo it is. Situated right on Congress street in a bustling downtown location, this place is a pure gem. Giant windows in the front allow for a lot of natural light, which adds even more to the wonderful ambience they have going on here. No harsh lighting here! The decor is simple yet beautiful. The hair stylists work well together and are super friendly! You can really tell that the owner takes pride in her work, as do her employees. The bathroom even has a glamorous feel! I feel at home when I'm here, and I am so glad Jessica made the transition to this space! I initially booked for a spray tan from Coastal Bronzing and ended up seeing a few other services (botox, hair) that I booked. When I came in for my hair appointment they let us know about the wine and snacks in the waiting room - which on a Friday afternoon TOTALLY fit the bill. It's nice that each individual salon space feels a little more private / custom to you. Miranda is so fantastic so I highly recommend her.

At last minute, I decided to sit in Jessica's chair. Now for a woman of a certain age, on a hot and humid day- her artistry would have to transition from the fresh faces bridal entourage to well, me. She was so kind and a delight to get to know. She took the time to address any areas of concern- or that made me feel not-so-pretty. I couldn't believe it, I looked like myself and not photoshopped but felt oh so pretty and ready for my day. As I stood in the rain, with my sweet friend couple, my makeup stayed in place. No streaking mascara - nothing. Since she took so much time and care in this spur of the moment request, she will now have carte blanche on my hair. Jessica Griffin - remember that name!
