After each customer, they thoroughly cleaned everything with Clorox wipes, including the desk, chairs, and surrounding area. The reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I expected a little more attention to detail for a professional service at this level. A couple of nails had small imperfections. It took up almost until half an hour before my requested appointment slot for it to actually be booked/confirmed. After all the trouble of getting an appointment booked, you can't really tell my lashes were lifted. They are predominantly straight, slightly curling in random areas after the lift. Comparing the photos I took after my appointment in 2019 to what I received today, I will not be returning.

When I called to cancel my upcoming appointments, Carson explained that the decision was made because of "client retention." That response was disappointing. It gave the impression that retaining clients for the business was valued more than allowing clients to say goodbye to the esthetician they had built trust with or supporting an employee through a professional transition. Ashley built relationships with her clients because of the quality of care she provided, not because of the name on the building. Losing someone like her is a loss for Waxing the City.
