Unfortunately, the quality of service has come down here in the last couple years. What I appreciate most about Beauty Lab is their transparency in cost and the ability to book services online. They sell some nice products but don't push them. The down side is that they seem to be busier in their new location and since RHOSLC, and everything feels less thorough and very rushed. Other things that would improve the experience- More discretion from the front desk (not announcing what services clients are getting in front of others), better draping during services that involve the body, and wearing masks (regardless of vaccination status) so we can all be more safe. I have received treatments here for years but will start looking into alternative options. :( read more

I've had good experiences at BLL in the past but this time I decided to try Dysport. The injection process was noticeably more painful than normal and I have had bruising all over my face for three days now. I've never had bruising before and was wondering if they used a different needle than normal. I tried to reach out to them to discuss the bruising and my experience but I never heard back from them. read more

You guys, I live in CA & always come to to BL+L when I'm in town visiting family (maybe I sometimes I take a Friday off of work & I tell family I'm coming just so I can go to BL+L)! They're all so great at what they do & are super engaged not only when you're there at the Lab, but also when you call in & even through social media. So my first experience at BL+L was almost 2 years ago when my sister & I came for facials. Hydrafacials are my FAVORITE, I'm new to the peel scene, a huge fan of the Bombshell Botox & laser hair removal, & have the Beauty Lab Bright (teeth whitening) on the docket for my husband. The Mini Lip Plump is gold for those who just want a subtle enhancement (if you have a big gummy smile like me ask them about a couple units of Botox in your upper lip, it's a game changer) & even though I don't have kids I have done their Stretch Mark Solution (freshman 15 got the best of me back in the day) & definitely recommend any mamas on the fence do it! I don't usually write reviews unless I'm Super impressed or Super disappointed. I am so happy with my experience getting a HydraFacial from Krista! I've never had one before. I talked to Krista before coming in and asked her what I could do to clear up the black heads on my nose and reduce the size of the pours so that my wife would stop pinching my nose every time I tried to sit down and relax! I had tried using strips on my nose a few times but it sucked and didn't work well for me at all. Krista recommended the HydraFacial and I couldn't be happier! My wife hasn't touched my nose since but she still stares at it awkwardly in awe. When I touch my own face it feels very different in a really good way. (Smooth and not super dry anymore) Throughout the whole process I had a lot of questions because I've never done work like this on my face before nor had I really thought about it much before. Krista was super sweet in answering all my questions and very knowledgeable. She's truly an expert and what she does. I spent $350 to get a mini lip plump & got a botched job. Their facility is gross.. There was hair on the floors, the counters were dirty & it's definitely a ghetto "fabulous" set up. I was there as a new patient and when the lady walked in she was like, " so I do your lips right?" I said, "no, this is my first time..." It was so awkward. She didn't ask me any questions or ask what I wanted my lips to look like. The numbing didn't work at all and it hurt so freaking bad. They didn't even give me time to put my mask back on before they were rushing me to the front desk, awkwardly complementing me on the way about my "new lips". I was immediately let down when I saw my lips. I wanted a natural plump and she focused on the middle of my upper lip, put two bumps on the sides and my bottom lip felt like it was going to burst. I knew the healing process can be crazy (from reading online) so I didn't freak out and let it heal... except I had a super bumpy lips throughout healing and afterward. My lips looked absolutely horrific. I looked like I had herpes & got a botched job... Not once did I feel comfortable with my lips. I didn't want to see my friends or have my fiancé look at me because of how insecure I felt... I felt better with a mask on rather than off. I came back for two follow-up appointments because of how uneven my lips were. Mind you, I live in Springville so it's not a quick drive and the follow up appointments we're about two minutes freaking long (so frustrating). They were careless & of course they rushed through the follow up appts. At my last follow up she ended up dissolving part of my lip because she couldn't fix the unevenness. I got my lips done September 4th, the lady told me it's supposed to last at least three months and my lips look back to normal already. What a waste of money. I won't recommend this place and I won't be coming back. Horrible work, horrible communication and horrible cleanliness. This all really sucks because I was sooo excited to get lips done and I wasn't able to enjoy even a second of it.. Got ripped off $350 plus gas money for the follow up appointments to never get what I wanted.. Sorry, not sorry for calling your business out and leaving this review. I wish I would've kept more of my photos to show but I attached what I have left. If anyone knows of an actual GOOD place to get lip infections, please let me know. read more

Please don't judge me, but I recently visited Dr. Johnsen for a little Botox. This was not my first try at Botox, but this was my most positive experience. James, who woks in the office is very friendly and instantly helped to calm me and my friend's nerves. I mean, who wouldn't be a little nervous about paralyzing their face? Dr. Johnsen is uber-friendly and a great doctor. He explained the procedure and told me about his "special" techniques to help the Botox last longer. I was in and out of his chair in less than 20 minutes. It is 7 days later and I am very happy with the results. Dr. Johnsen is very talented and I will go back for my follow-ups. I tried this place for Botox because I had a groupon, a decision I have come to regret. I will never go here again. I get Botox injections regularly from another doctor, so I know what to expect. But this doctor told me the amount usually used to treat my entire forehead could only be used to treat the small area between my eyes. To say this doctor's bedside manner was lacking would be an understatement. And after the injections, the doctor sent me out with blood running off my forehead. I became aware of this after the horrified expressions on onlookers' faces led me to check my reflection in the mirror. Not a good experience. read more

First impressions when I walk in was A very white open clean looking atmosphere and the staff (which I was the most impressed by) was incredibly welcoming and friendly. They all had masks on which made me comfortable knowing they were doing their part at keeping themselves and the customers safe. The girl who escorted me back was knowledgeable and could answer all my questions. She really helped calm my anxiety by reassuring it would be an easy process. (which it was) She even showed me her personal before and after pictures. They all just made me feel like I had been a long time returning customer even though it was my first time.
