Horrible shaping, horrible paint job and uneven length

AVOID THIS SHOP IF YOU CAN !!! I didn't want to have to leave a negative review I was just going to accept the horrible fill and paint job I received and just move on to finding a new shop! I recently moved back to the AV area and finding a new shop that does decent work has been a nightmare. I came here because it's literally around the corner from my house. On my initial visit I requested a fill and a repair on my index finger. Now I know I'm hella picky but when requesting a fill from a shop that didn't do the original work I lower my standards because I understand everyone has a different way/style of doing nails. However my expectation is whatever style you have in doing nails just be consistent.. meaning what you do on one finger, be sure to do it on the next. My index finger nail broke and I literally super glued the entire nail back on my finger for esthetic purposes. When I got to the shop I explained to the lady that this nail was broke and instead of removing the nail and fixing it she literally just threw acrylic on top of my super glued nail !!!! STRIKE ONE When I tell you this was one of the most amateur fills I ever had in my life it was like I was letting a student practice on my nails. I had to remind the lady to file all my nails because she skipped a few. STRIKE TWO. I also kept having to point the difference in the shapes.. it was disastrous. I chose the most simplistic design ever because i had zero faith in their ability to do anything complex. I asked for five different colors and instead of getting the colors I chose the lady chose the colors she wanted. Because the colors she chose were all in the same family I let that go. The paint job was beyond sloppy. STRIKE THREE OK FINE I JUST WON'T COME BACK HERE I THOUGHT... THEN THE SAME INDEX NAIL BROKE so I came BACK TODAY less than a week later to have the nail repaired and to ensure I had the same color out back on. #1 The repaired nail is longer than the other hand and when I pointed this out the lady became irate telling me she doesn't see the length difference #2 The lady didn't remember what color she used and spent time trying out different colors #3 I had to come home and file my own nail because it was rough on the edges due to improper filing #4 The owner was beyond rude and yelled at me because I expressed my dissatisfaction with the shape, length and rough edges I left beyond uncomfortable and disappointed with their attitude and level of service ! I don't recommend anyone who is looking for professional work come here !

Love Kim! She is so kind! She does a great job with my nails! My only advice is to call and make an appointment- since it is just her and her husband running the business!

Very disappointed I asked for a French coffin fill with the white in the first pic design. The lady couldn't do the design without making it crooked. Instead I got a throwback 90s design. She made several comments for me to smile more and fix my attitude... since I also asked for pedi I was moved To the spa chairs where she finished my nails... when she moved the gel curing light she hit Me in the face. She meant well I think but disappointed the 3 pedicures and a fill cost me 189 not coming back

Man. Im not one to give bad reviews. I'm a regular here and I've seen the owner be rude to others. Luckily I never had to deal with her. The last two times I had the unfortunate timing of getting her. Unless you want her yanking on your arms telling you to move, turning off the massage chair, being rude and arguing with you and then over charging you for something you don't want. Goto a different salon. Also, the two times I went, she made two fingers bleed, and paints so far away from the cuticle that it looks dumb. Then at the end she acts all nice and wants you to tip well. The others are great, but she is the reason I will never go back.

It honestly took me forever to decide to leave this review because I appreciate workers in the beauty industry but this lady who owns this shop was so unprofessional. The first time I came in she was so nice and she tried really hard to give me the results I was asking for but she cut me all over my fingers, I left with bleeding cuticles. Which I could deal with because she tried and I appreciated that. The second time I returned to get my middle finger replaced because it fell a week and a half after! As you can see on the second picture, even though she didn't charge me for the replacement she blamed me for it falling.. she said "you don't take care of your nails.. when was the last time you had nails?" I asked her "umm how was that my fault?" And she gave attitude and said something under her breath.. she didn't even try to fix it and make it look like the rest of my nails. she did it like it was a chore... I didn't even want to go back but it fell off too quick. never returning here again.. over priced, not great work and poor customer service..

I came to Beauty Nail after having some bad luck with other salons and I couldn't be happier. I've never had to wait long, and for a Saturday agtwrn that's pretty convenient. The salon is clean, the prices are decent and everyone there has been friendly. I got a gel manicure ($26) from Natalie in my first trip there. She was friendly and during the manicure she kept asking me if I was okay with the shape and color of my nails! I decided to get a full set with gel ($35) and I'm so happy Jane convinced me because it holds up much longer than my manicures did! Two weeks later and my nails still look great. I enjoy sitting with Jane getting my nails done because she's so sweet and pleasant to be around! Update. So I came in last weekend and a gentlemen did my fill, and I'm just going to say that it wasn't a pleasant experience. He was rough with the drill and my hands. He cut me with it and it bled. It's the little things that make a difference, ya know. Also, he was careless with the paint job, like it was rough and uneven on the sides - you could see the acrylic nail on the outer edges. Just stick with the ladies because they do a better job.

Called around 6 to see if I would still be able to get a Brazilian wax if I came in at 6:30 and I was able to. Not only my Brazilian wax but also a full set and pedicure. Jane was amazing and definitely made sure I had everything I needed before I left. This shop does great work and I would definitely recommend to anyone whose looking for a great nail shop in the AV *it was also my first time ever getting waxed and I felt 100% comfortable !

Just moved to the City of Lancaster and was looking for a new nail salon in the area. I came across this nail spa on Yelp and decided to try them out. The Staff: I was expecting this place to be super busy on a Saturday afternoon, but I got lucky and made it before the next rush of clients. I was greeted right when I walked in and everyone was friendly and accommodating. I didn't have to wait and two staff members were able to take care of my Mani/Pedi (Dan and Natalie). They both worked quickly and efficiently. They spoke with me throughout my visit and other staff stopped to checked in on me every so often as well. Dan did great with my gel manicure and made sure I was happy with the color. Natalie was just as great. Both had light hands and not once was I ever in any pain or discomfort. The Digs: Located on L and 30th West. Plenty of parking. The spa itself is clean and bright. They have a lab organized wall of nail polish to choose from. The pedicure chairs were clean and comfortable. They're also massage chairs if you're into that stuff. They have manicure tables set up and they're well equipped and also kept clean. $$$: I'm going to say the price for my mani/pedi is average.

They are nice but don't care about a quality job. The man was very rough with my hands and cut me multiple times with the drill, my fingers are still sore. Excess acrylic all around my nail and stuck on my fingers. Bad paint job. Some are crooked. No real shape. Way way way too expensive for something very half assed. I paid 80 for a pedicure and a full set w/ gel and now I have to go get them redone (gently, considering how bad my fingers hurt)

Hidden Gem!! VERY surprised it was empty on a Sunday, but fantastic for me . First time coming here and always a nervous feeling, right? Got the Basic Mani/Pedi. The woman did a fantastic job on my Mani. My nails are naturally mine - she cleaned my cuticles and I asked for just clear polish. The gentleman did my pedi and equally a fantastic job! I always get regular polish on my feet and he did everything wonderfully! **Honestly** - it was one of the BEST leg massages I've received at a nail salon. My legs were sore after my bike ride yesterday and he was hitting ALL the spots that were tight and painful. I should have added an additional massage with the hot stones, definitely will next time!! I was not disappointed and WILL come back again and very happy I gave this place a try! Thank you both so much read more

This is so nice! The pricing is great and Kim and her husband are great! They gave me what I wanted, and the smell of the atmosphere doesn't have the acrylic smell that so overpowering! It's great and it's so clean! read more

With COVID-19, I have been a bit desperate when it comes to getting my nails done. I visited this place on 3 different occasions. 2/3 times they tried to up charge me. I called today to see how much they were charging and when I arrived the woman tried to charge me $10 more and asked how much cash I had. It is unprofessional and seems like they are wanting to see how much you are willing to pay. Throughout the service, she was very rough with my hands as well as the way she was talking to me. She was not open to asking what I wanted or what service I was looking for but assumed what I wanted. She rushed through it and it was not a good experience. Will not come back no matter how badly I need my nails done. read more

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! New owners are so professional and friendly. I was a long time customer but stop coming bc old owner would rush. I didn't appreciate that. Kim, my new nail tech was so gentle and very patient. She took special care and listened to me not trying to rush the manicure/ pedi. I don't usually posts reviews but they are deserving of my time. I drove from Palmdale just to be serviced here! 10/10 ! read more

Oh my gosh this place is awful money hungry people! The owner is rude & disrespectful! Puts on 2 different colors of polish with out permission! Charges $79.00 for a pedicure & manicure & gel on nails on only. Prices according to what kind of car you drive! read more

This place is disgusting! I had to remove my nails because the lady cut my finger and it was really painful. When I took the nails off I noticed I had a fungus! They don't clean their tools and they use the same foot scrubber on everyone! Don't go here! read more

Please avoid this place! My nail lady walked in without a mask and tried to sit and do my nails, I had to ask her to wash her hands, then she had the nerve to remove her mask to sneeze (didn't move from her chair just faced away from me) sneezed in her hand and tried to continue without washing her hands again, filthy! The other nail lady took the acetone I used to soak off my nails and gave it to someone else. It's like one big germ infested place. Horrible covid protocol and cleanliness in general. read more

I literally love this salon ! If You go here go to Vincent ! He's the best , doesn't talk much but is the best ! He saved my nails from a disaster when I got them done in LA and I came there so I can get them fixed and he absolutely fix them . Can't wait to go back and see what he could do from the beginning instead of working from someone else's work ! They aren't perfect but I understand why because like I said he's not working from the beginning so he didn't put on the acrylic he just reshape them and file them down but they came out looking so good read more

0 stars!!!!I had a 3pm appointment 6/20 for me and my aunt for her birthday. Get there at 2:45 I'm early I wait outside..and tell the owner I'm right out front. She never came to get me..so at 3:10 I go in. The rude lady says "what" ..me: "I'm here for two 3 oclock pedicures".I'm seated in hot water that got cold from 3:15pm-3:35pm . And then I decide to leave. Do not book your appointment here. The lady doesn't care about your time at all. She's spewing patience...patience isnt me being here for 1 hr with no service. Screw this place. All she was concerned with was if people had cash because her credit card machine wasnt working. I watched this gross lady apologize over and over to an African American woman. Because I guess the owner had given this woman a hard time about whether she'd come back with money since her machine was broke. This shop does not have respect for anyone! read more

I drive all the way here from Tehachapi because I was looking for something simple vs my traditional design and stone look (normally $50) and she kept insisting I "give her more work" by adding designs which I clearly told her I COULD NOT HAVE due to work. Still then she was very pushy with add ons the entire time I had called the night prior to my appointment and was told the price would be $30 which was absolutely reasonably priced with me for a SIMPLE SHORT ACRYLIC and to bring CASH ONLY. So I did. However, when my boyfriend announced he had set down the $30 for my nails the woman Jane said "oh nooo, your nails are $45!!! Products very expensive tight now!!" (I'm sorry but if you know you're struggling to afford basic Products maybe you shouldn't be open?). Even after* I had just spoke with her yesterday and was told BY HER it would be $30 CASH ONLY I was a little upset. Very clean, with absolutely no horrid nail salon smell! Which is a huge plus for me. The Owner and employees were professional and kind. I just got a pedicure and the girl who did it, seemed to be learning the ropes as I could tell she was being supervised- she did a good job(a little bit soft on the massage and not very good at painting nails though) Overall, I will definitely be coming back. read more

I popped in here for a mani/pedi, they were so warm and welcoming. Very sweet, professional, and made excellent recommendations! I ended up with a cool nail dip technique that came out so nice. First off let me start by saying that this is the best place I've ever gotten a pedicure at. They are sooooo gentle and had my toes looooking riiiiiiiighttt!! As soon as you walk in you are greeted by Jane who is just the absolute sweetest!!! they are all so nice, and it is a completly judgmemt free zone. today was the day i got a full set (done by Vincent) and my sister also got a full set (done by jane). I was iffy because it was my first time but they turned out so so so cute!!! and you can't beat the price. Seriously, these people are so accommodating and good at their job. This is my new go-to Nail salon!!!! I got a coffin shaped full set with gel for $35 and the shape of my nails were perfect, even before he filed them. 10/10 reccomend. read more

I absolutely loved Beauty Nail & Spa!! When I arrived (early), they took me right away. Every employee said good morning and were all very friendly. My pedicure with Natalie was the best I ever had!! Vincent did my gel full set and he was awesome. He was very meticulous but didn't take too much time. He made sure I was happy before he was done. They even have a warmer on your seat so you can have both heat and massage! The salon also does eyebrow treatments by professionally trained personnel. Daisy's range of colors are exquisite for your nails and she has a phenomenal amount of packages you can purchase. I opted for the Herbal Detox Pedicure which is $90 but so worth it. I took pictures of the process for you to see. If you want the candle wax instead of the hot rocks the candle wax is put on your legs and is not hot only warm and soothing and it smells so fragrant as though you have roses all over your legs. They have a warm fragrant spray that comes out and sprays onto your legs while you are getting your pedicure. Everyone speaks very good English and they are all such beautiful people! I really love all of them. While you are being blessed by them they bring you soda, tea, coffee and snacks. For the ones getting the packages you get wine or mimosas. Snow did my nails and Anna my feet and they are two of the most incredible and intelligent women. Hana and her husband own the salon. She named it after her daughter Daisy who is just as cute as you can be. The place is immaculately clean and beautiful with all clean lines! It has an open space so you don't feel cramped at all! They now also have two bathrooms and several television screens! My daughters and I drive an hour to get here every 2 weeks and an hour home but this place is so worth it! The owners are so very nice and considerate. Hana has roving eyes that go everywhere to ensure her clients are getting the very best experience of their lives and that it is done right. The receptionist is also so much fun. She has crazy and beautiful nails every week and she makes you laugh. She's a sweetheart. Then they have a new girl but she has the professional performance of a manager that is high up standard wise. She is on top of everything and she sees everything and ensures the spas clients are happy and respected as well as taken care of. Hana is one of the smartest business women I have ever met. She continually gets more and more education to keep up with the latest treatments as well as machines. Hana automatically treats her clients as family and gives you the best advice for whatever you are having done. All her staff are so gracious, intelligent and know what looks classy and beautiful. I will continue to come here every two weeks because they make me beautiful.

I came in after having a previous set done elsewhere that was supposed to be coffin-shaped but wasn't even close. I was in a rush at the time and accepted them as they were, which I later regretted. After searching online, I found WOW Nail Salon and immediately loved the photos of Amy's work, so I booked an online appointment for an ombré fill. The online booking process was easy and seamless, and Amy was ready for me right on time. I didn't have to wait at all, which I really appreciated. Before my visit, I had tried filing my nails myself to get closer to the shape I wanted, but they were uneven and didn't match. Amy took one look and got right to work. She corrected the shape beautifully, made everything uniform, and completely transformed my nails. They look amazing. On top of her skill, Amy is the fastest nail tech I've ever had. From start to finish, my service took only 30 minutes, and the quality was flawless. She worked on my nails personally the entire time, which I truly appreciated. Amy was not only professional but genuinely kind, with pleasant conversation that made the appointment enjoyable. I came in for a gel manicure and gel pedicure, and unfortunately this was the worst experience I've…read morehad at a nail salon. During the manicure, the technician was extremely rough with my cuticles. Instead of properly softening them with cuticle cream or allowing them to soak long enough, she briefly dipped my fingers in water (which she dipped from my pedicure water) and then began cutting and pulling at dry skin. It was uncomfortable and did not seem like proper cuticle care. I became so concerned about how my cuticles were being treated that I asked her not to trim the cuticles on my second hand at all. Three days later, my gel polish is already chipping, and my cuticles look damaged and ragged. I've had many gel manicures before and have never experienced this level of poor technique or such short-lasting results. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but this experience was disappointing from both a service and quality standpoint. I would not return.
