I made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure this evening. When I came in, I spoke to the manager. He found an available technician to do my nails. The technician was rude from the very start. I was looking through the different nails colors, as I was looking he asks, "if I am done looking." I said, "not yet." He then goes ahead and tells me that I need to hurry up because he wants to show the women sitting down behind me... this was quite surprisingly rude. I then say to the women I am done, would she like to try. She abruptly says that she has chosen her color already. So already, I have had a rude interaction that was completely unnecessary. Against my better judgment, I decide to proceed to go through with this appointment because I was hoping that it would get better and I drove an hour to get here. But I was wrong. He was not pleasant to me while doing my nails and he was rude throughout. When it was time for my pedicure, he took me to the chair and said that my manicure needed to dry. I didn't know that he would walk off and have me sitting in the chair for nearly 30 minutes while he goes off and starts doing a woman's nails who came in after me as a walk in. I sat there waiting patiently, but I couldn't take it anymore. I said I'll pay the manicure but I will not be doing the pedicure now because the lack of respect for me and my time. I have never experienced such terrible customer service at a nail salon. The nail tech treated me like dirt! How can you have someone waiting that long while doing someone else's nails. I was the only person waiting. I regret coming here and not leaving when the nail tech started being disrespectful for no reason. When I said I'm leaving and not doing the pedicure, the manager tried to apologize and help but it was too late. The nail tech who was supposed to my nails did not even look up. the nail salon is dirty! I went for a pedicure and when I sat at the chair, I realized there were small bugs what appeared to be hair floating in the water. when I let the nail tech know, she was very rude about it. you're unwilling to catch infections from this place, runaway fast! read more

I will not be going back. Long story short. Day after I had my nails for vacation ,regular manicure they started to chip. By the 3 rd day I had to take all the polish off. I went back and was told regular polish does that. Never had spider cracks before using regular polish. I believe she used gel polish even though I didn t get a gel manicure. They said they would re do them but didn t seem to pleased about it. Needless to say I didn t go back and will not go back again. read more

Horrible experience after 2nd visit. Brought my mother with me for a little treat and was up charged, then lied to- offered a 5.00 refund which was insulting ( I spent 200.00 and gave a 25.00 tip like an idiot) when I explained it was their integrity that was on the line, I wasn't seeking a refund although I was GROSSLY OVERCHARGED. A 30.00 gel fill in with 2/5.00 designs cost me 60.00!!!! I was told I was charged 5.00 to "reshape" which was simply filing...still comes up to 45.00- how'd it cost 60???! My mother was charged an additional 10.00 for a "callous removal" she did not ask for and then "extra" for a full set gel. Charged additional for the gel so why advertise for 45- we were charged 57! If you decide to go there my advice is to request an ITEMIZED BILL, if you do not they will charge you at random and then claim to have given you services you did not receive or ask for. Im sad because the work is good but in absence of integrity, I'll pass. There are other salons on this mountain! read more

I've been going to this salon for a while now, and every single time I go they do an amazing job ! They don't make your nails bulky or weird shaped. They have a wide variety of colors and designs (holographic, cat eye magnetic, gel, SNS, pink & white) The staff there are so friendly and welcoming. It's always a good feeling when you know each other on a first name basis. The prices are seriously affordable and if you don't like it they fix it. I've been all over the poconos nail salons and this one is my absolute favorite. They specialize in gel and it shows ! I highly recommend this salon to everyone read more

I went with my daughter and my niece. Sonny did my nails 1 week ago and already 6 nails have fallen off already. We had appointments and the made us wait over an hour. They took me first then my daughter and almost an hour later they finally asked my niece to have a seat at one of the stations. An older couple walked in an they all jumped to cater to this couple. They had my niece get up from the station so they could take care of this couple. I asked why and was informed they had an appointment. I said we had an appointment. He assured me there would be someone available for her in 5 minutes. A half hour later they finally took her. In the end they tried to charge extra because my nieces nails were "long". My niece asked the girls three times to cut them shorter and the girl told her they would look shorter with nail polish on. My daughter wanted longer nails and they cut hers too short. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Go to Glamour Nails in Tannersville if you want a good job. read more

I just started coming to this salon after years going to another local one. So far I'm very happy with the service I've received at Beauty Nails. The staff is friendly and the salon is clean, which is the first thing I look for when I go anywhere. One thing I REALLY like about this salon is that they actually honor appointments!!!! That was a huge issue at the salon I used to frequent. The nail technician actually knows she has someone scheduled!! It was great to have my nails done by the person I scheduled the appointment with...seems like something all salons should do, but they don't.
