Through pointing and body language we expressed what colors we wanted. Sadly, the color that I picked was see through which I am not particularly a fan of... when I pointed out to the tech she had no idea what I was saying. Then I asked for a new color... she just added a new color on top of old one making quite a combo on my hands. My friend was done first and paid with her Amex card. I was right after trying to pay with mine and was informed salon does not take Amex (?) literally just observed my friend paying with one, but okay When I had my nails redone in San Diego, my poor nail tech spent over 50 minutes trying to get coating off my nails as it was done very poorly..

I told her I booked it online and wanted a man/Pedi. She told me once I sat down and started doing my nails that she couldn't do a pedicure because she had another client coming in at 4. I was really annoyed because I wanted a pedicure more and if I'd have known that I wasn't going to be able to get one, I would have gone elsewhere. My appointment felt rushed, but she was nice and friendly. My nails were chipping less than a week after I got them done. I so wanted to like this place. But the good news is, I went to another place this week and they did a worse job than her job.

The shampoo smelled amazing and Jessica (I think) showed exactly how much she was going to cut--with my approval. She styled my hair exactly how I asked. He was not pleasant to me while doing my nails and he was rude throughout. When it was time for my pedicure, he took me to the chair and said that my manicure needed to dry. I didn't know that he would walk off and have me sitting in the chair for nearly 30 minutes while he goes off and starts doing a woman's nails who came in after me as a walk in. I sat there waiting patiently, but I couldn't take it anymore. I said I'll pay the manicure but I will not be doing the pedicure now because the lack of respect for me and my time. My polish is uneven and my nails are so messed up. I asked for just a touch up on my brows and ended up leaving with stick thin eyebrows and wax all over my face and in my fair. I never post reviews, and I used to go to this salon a lot a few years ago. I regret going back…read morethis time :( first- I'm very pregnant so I wanted to treat myself to a mani pedi before baby comes. Nail tech ended up making me bleed while doing my cuticles, and I bled A LOT. He had to apply pressure for several minutes to the cut he made on my cuticle/skin. Then he went to do a stone massage, I felt the water and told him it was much too hot. It was way hotter than it should have been. He looked at me and proceeded to pour the bowl of super hot water on both my legs and I even made a noise because it was so uncomfortable. He had me get out of the pedi chair myself, normally not a problem but I am 35 weeks pregnant. it took me a while to get out and he just stared at me the entire time. I even looked at him ready to ask him for a hand but he was really impatient with me. we do the mani and I asked for a simple French, regular polish. things are going better and then he cuts tooo deep on cuticle again and I bleed enough where he has to apply pressure with a small gauze. he did it again on another finger. My cuticles are very red on that hand now. then he doesn't finish the manicure and has someone else do it. this person finishes the manicure in record time but left me to dry at the manicure table for at least 30 mins with nothing drying my nails. eventually I had to ask if I should go over to the drying station instead and someone brings me over. everyone else around me gets a brief shoulder massage but they didn't do that for me. I thought OK they must be busy. I wait a little bit until I'm dry until I look at the time and realize I need to leave so I can eat because I'm starting to feel sick. It's been about 2 hours now (not so bad on a busy day maybe but because I didn't get gel or dip or anything I guess I thought it would be faster) get up and see that my heels are still wrapped in Saran Wrap with callus softener on them even though he finished my pedi!!!! At this point my hormones were starting to make me really emotional and I decided to leave without tipping (I paid a full $75 for the service) the manager chased me out and asked me why I didn't tip, so I told her everything. I've never felt the need to do something like that before. Within an hour of leaving, I not only chip some of the French tip off, my nail CRACKED! I am so disappointed and will have to figure out a way to fix it myself. wanted to do something relaxing before I give birth in a few weeks but it was anything but. :( I'm also feeling a lot of guilt, I've never had this bad of an experience there, and everyone else looked like they got a great service. my mother in law came with me and she was so happy, her tech was so nice and nails look amazing. I guess I got unlucky today.
