I don't recommend getting a lash lift here. The first one I got was great, but on three other occasions they over processed my lashes resulting in a frizzy mess. Photos attached. The staff is so sweet, which is what kept me coming back, but unfortunately I will not be returning because of the inconsistent results. They offered to redo them, but will not issue refunds. I got a second opinion from a technician at DC Lash bar and they said that you need to wait at least 6 weeks between lash lifts to prevent over-processing. I come here to get my eyebrows threaded so can't speak for the other services they do. Make sure to text the number on their website to make an appointment. They say they accept walk ins, however when I arrived around 9:30am they were still closed even though their hours say they open at 9am. I called the number and ended up getting a text from them asking to make an appointment. The earliest they offered was an hour later. It wasn't worth going back home at this point for me so I had to waste some time around the area before going in for my appointment which wasn't ideal. For eyebrows they do listen thoroughly and just clean my eyebrows. Usually I've had problems with my eyebrows gradually getting thinner and thinner due to employees focusing on what they think would look best. I still occasionally look around for other places that might work out due to this location being further from where I live than I'd like, but for now it gets the job done. read more

I was apprehensive to come here because I saw some negative reviews. However, I did not see any reviews for just the eyelash tinting. I have never gotten my eyelashes tinted before, but I've have been wanting to for a long time and this salon had availability. I had to wait for about 10 minutes after my appointment time (something lots of the pst reviews were mad about but I don't mind very much). Having been my first time, I do wish the stylist had explained the process or asked me about allergies or informed me about how long/what would happened. However, it only took about 20 minutes to tint. There we're definitely times we're I was nervous and get some stinging sensations and worried that I had made a mistake. Ultimately though, everything worked out and they look pretty good. I have naturally long eyelashes that are typically blondeish so the darkness looks good. The full service took over 90 minutes and I left with heavily over-permed lashes that tuck under my hooded eyes when I open fully. I got a Groupon for a "Full Set of Classic Mink Eyelash Extensions" and boy do I wish I spent that money elsewhere. Like everyone else said, the lashes DO NOT feel like it's true mink. They feel and look like plastic and VERY CHEAP - like fake lashes you get from eBay for a $1. Also, the glue they were using was AWFUL. Without exaggeration, I thought they might be using superglue from CVS. From start to finish it took exactly 55 minutes. I was told they would last two weeks (pretty standard), but they literally lasted ONE WEEK. 7 days was all it took for every-single-last-lash to fall off. And I did EVERYTHING they told me to (no rubbing the eyes, water on the lashes, no sleeping on your sides, etc). There were two ladies when I walked into the salon (the salon is an office inside another salon called "Salon by JC"). The office/room is very tight. It has two chairs (for the customers) and two chairs for technician. When I came in for my appointment (1pm), there was another lady in middle of her lash extension (I guess they frequently schedule two customers at the same time). My technician and I discussed the length I wanted and she got started. By the time one side was done, I heard some ruffling where my technician was sitting. I assumed, she was just getting more supplies to do the other side or making room for the other customer who was leaving tiny "salon" (aka a room). So imagine my surprise when we finish and I open open my eyes to see my original technician across the room eating her lunch and another technician by me. As you can imagine, the other side (done by the second technician) is completely different than the first side. Overall, I'm very disappointed and wished I spent that groupon money on a real salon. Everything felt cheap and I can't in good conscious recommend this place to anyone. Replacing the technician in middle of service without informing the customer is just unheard of. If she needs to take lunch, don't schedule an appointment during lunch break!!! It's not like I was a walk-in. I had an appointment a week before! Avert at all cost!!! read more

I went to this salon for the Groupon Deal, Full Mink Eyelashes which was a deal on August 2018 expiring December 2018. My Groupon voucher was not accepted because the owner says that the Groupon deal "is only available for new clients". The Groupon was clear and it states "Limit 1 per person" The owner insists that "Limit 1 per person" means Groupon is only available for new clients. I am very much willing to pay full price but she only tells me this after the service was done. So I don't have a choose but to pay more than double the price and my Groupon was left unused. I would suggest putting a clear description of your product on Groupon since I heard the owner say the same thing to another client. She also said to another client that her Groupon is not acceptable, only after the service was done. If I was told prior to starting the service that the Groupon deal would not be accepted due to the fact that I have purchased a deal on Feb 2018 with a different title and different description, I could have made an informed decision of not doing the service with them. read more

It was a little unnerving when the 2 girls were talking in a foreign language when doing my eyelashes but I am very happy with the result. I did 2 eyelash extensions and 1 eyelash perm. I asked for a natural look both times for extension and ended up looking sort of over the top. I was fine with this even though it wasn't really the look i was going for. The problem was the perm. My lashes were curling into my eyelids rather than going up. And as a result my lashes looked even shorter. This place is definitely on the cheaper side in terms of price and ladies are nice so i would recommend for extension but not for perm. read more

Got eyelash extensions for the 2nd time and eyebrow tint for the first time for my vacation to the Caribbean. Loved the eyebrow tint so I went back 3 weeks later to get it done again. She did a really good job the 2nd time as well and my eyebrows looked just as great as they did the first time! The eyelash extensions are beautiful but they're a little too expensive and require too much upkeep for me to get them done regularly. I think I might be hooked on the eyebrow tinting however and will likely start going to these lovely ladies regularly for that particular service. Oh and the ladies are all very sweet. I gave 2 stars instead of one because she actually placed the lashes well and she was fast at it. She advertised "classic mink" lashes and you DO NOT GET ANYTHING CLOSE. It didn't occur to me to touch or feel the lashes before she placed them on it. They are the cheapest, absolutely rock bottom quality lashes you can buy. I'm talking dollar store. They are soooooo hard and fake looking. They actually hurt if u lay on a pillow on your side and they tap into your eyelids. They feel like shards of thin plastic. They look cheap and fake. There are many inexpensive lashes out there that can be used without breaking the bank. I didn't think she was using the real, quality mink lashes but I thought for sure it would be something softer than this. False advertising 100%.
