I scheduled a pedicure here specifically because it was advertised as a SMART pedicure. This was not a real SMART pedicure as it was not 100% waterless nor using Footlogix products. Disc was used for under three minutes per foot and it was not the focal point for the service. The attention to detail was minimal for the service that is advertised. While my pedicure looks OK, it was extremely quick (under 1 hour) & standard for the option that I paid for. I also asked for a more senior technician and it was unclear if the tech was senior. Given do many options, I'd go elsewhere. I don't appreciate when salons falsely advertise services. People pay premium for techs that have experience for certain services. I highly doubt these are officially trained techs with Russian manicure given how little attention to detail was given to the pedicure. read more

I came in to get my nails done, and knew that I would be getting them done by a new employee. (The manicure was at a discounted rate) The pedicure and manicure were great per usual. 5 stars for manicure. I asked for a design and showed an image of what I wanted. We discussed colors and it was fine. During the application of the design I made a comment about adjusting the design. The tech said yes, and then did not do anything. At the end when she asked if I liked them I commented how it looked nothing like the image. The manager then wanted to place the blame onto med why didn't i speak up during the process- which I did. Then kept changing excuses as to why it didn't turn out like requested. Said it was a language barrier and it's my fault I didn't again. Really disappointed in how this situation was handled. They did offer to fix it but at this point I'd already been there for 2.5 hours which I did not have any more time to give. Why did I get offered a discount on the manicure but not the design too... especially when it's a new tech, and then they emphasized JUNIOR. They offered a potential discount on my return, but overall incredibly disappointing on how they handled the situation. read more

I've been here before and was extremely happy with Aidai but this time when I scheduled my appointment with Aidai a few weeks in advance, the day before my appointment I was told she was going to be out of town and was scheduled with Mary. Unfortunately I was disappointed - a couple nails had marks in them and one thumb nail was missing some nail gel on the edges. read more

Believe the hype with Russian manicures!! I'm notorious for picking at my nails the minute they begin to lift or chip following a manicure, which is usually within 2 weeks. I visited Beauty Salon Osaka in October, and my manicure with Mary lasted an entire month. Sure, there was growth, but my nails and cuticles still looked beautiful. I live in Minnesota and will continue to return monthly for nail services with Mary. She is meticulous with every part of the manicure process from cuticle trimming, to shaping, and polishing. I always come here and I almost always have a good experience however this time I got the Russian gel manicure and in less than 24 hours after my appointment 4/10 of the nails started to peel and chip. I am a little disappointed to say the least. read more

This place is the best nail salon I've been to! The first time I went I had Aidai who I learned was the owner (love women owned!!) and I even told her it was the best manicure I'd had. I had no notes. Normally after I leave a salon something is off, the shape, the thickness or it looks sloppy, not here! It was incredible and lasted almost 4 weeks and probably would have been longer but my nails were growing out! I was excited to try a Russian manicure, but the service was very disappointing. I booked a Russian manicure with acrylic removal. Upon arrival, I mentioned that I wanted the acrylics removed, and when I sat down, I restated my request to the receptionist, who was translating. As the process began, I felt something was off, but since I'd never had a Russian manicure before, I wasn't sure how acrylic removal should go. In hindsight, I should have stopped the technician, because she didn't remove all of the acrylic as requested. Instead, she filed it down partially and left a layer of acrylic on my nails. Once I realized this was her method and she began to apply the gel, I gave up. Now, my nails are very thick and look as though I have even more acrylic than before. I take responsibility for not speaking up again when I felt things were going wrong. Afterward, I spoke with the receptionist, who initially implied that I hadn't booked a removal--until I pulled up my appointment details as well as reminded her of our earlier conversation. I didn't press the issue further, and I still paid and tipped because the technician did spend her time. Unfortunately, my nails aren't even a week old, and I already need to get them redone. read more

This is my favorite nail salon I have ever been to. I have tried to find a nail salon that provides great quality and long lasting nails and could never find it until I found this salon. The first time I went to the salon, one of my nails started to lift a few days after and I went in to get it fixed. Usually I am nervous to ask any salon to fix a nail but they made me feel so comfortable and that I was not a bother at all to them. The pedicures here are amazing, go with the smart pedicure they literally sand off all the dead skin and take such care of cleaning up your nail beds as if they were doing a manicure. The owner is trying very hard to create a staff of nail techs of which you could go to any and receive the same quality. I have never been disappointed by a service here, I will say the price is on the pricier for a mani/pedi HOWEVER it last a month if you take care of your nails. You get what you pay for indeed. The first time I went here was for a Russian manicure 10/10 experience loved my nails. Second time I went was for pedicure, I booked online and I requested "junior technician and any staff" you would think by selecting "any staff" it would be any staff that's a "junior technician" as I requested. I get there and two of the pedicure stations are already taken so I was taken to just a chair I didn't get the full pedicure experience which I was pretty bummed about bc I thought since I booked a week before my appointment they would be ready for me which I think is important when providing great customer service. Once I had to pay the receptionist asked me if I booked for a junior or senior technician and I said junior, she proceeded to tell me that the technician that worked on me was a senior technician (which was not what I asked for) and that the total would be $55 instead of $45. I'm not one to start conflict or argue so I just brushed it off and left. I regret not saying anything bc why should I have to pay for something that I know I didn't request online. I made no mistake when booking online and why would they tell me this right when I had to pay they should of told me before even starting. Very poor communication and the receptionist didn't seem to care or even try to help me out. I did call them after and the same receptionist said that I selected a senior technician named "Julia" and I said no I selected any staff that's a junior technician then she said she would talk to management and I said okay if something can be done that would be great if not that's fine and she just ended the call with out saying anything or even call me back. My toes didn't look like they were done by a senior technician either one nail was cut uneven and the overall paint job wasn't that great but not terrible they still looked cute so I didn't say anything but overall I feel like they need to work on their customer service and communication. read more
